These arguments we've been having are the least alignment-relevant things I will say the entire game.

I would say it's more like he clearly spent enough time thinking about the game in the time between those posts that I could imagine his reads changing. Some of the analysis he was doing could also lend itself to read changes, because he was looking at the game through a heavily neighborhood-spec-based lens during that period.

Timeline- make of it what you will. I've timestamped the in game posts for my own use when constructing it, might as well leave them. Didn't timestamp neighborhood posts due to questionable legality.

1. ooba posts a scumpool including beast in game thread. 302am

2. ooba says he is rereading some isos in game thread. 423 am

~Neighborhood~

ooba speculates about a scumteam that includes FT (and myself, lol)

Neighborhood spec begins. This continues intermittently; is not very good on account of being neighborhood spec.

Decides FT's neighborhood contains scum, possibly multiple scum, and beast's neighborhood looks good. Doesn't really explain why.

Decides he would lynch beast, this despite my and heartless' commentary in the interim having nothing to do with beast - I assume this has something to do with in thread developments

~End Neighborhood~

3. Also expresses that he thinks all three of our would be lynch targets are scummy in game thread. 623 pm

Neighborhood: Wishes beast wouldn't lurk.

4. says he and heartless are discussing beast in game thread; votes ft 641pm

Would you be terribly upset if I only read D1? (115 pages IIRC)

Not upset, Andy. Just disappointed.

No but seriously, I think there's probably a more efficient way to allocate your time. FT's suggestion would be a start, though frankly we are pretty much lynching the beast slot today. Just read my catchup posts and you can skip the first 80 pages! :P

I'm adamant on you claiming because you are getting lynched.

I am no more interested in a claim from FT than one from, say, Andrius, myself, Imperium, or literally anyone else who is exactly as much of a non-lynch-candidate today as FT is.

And that "you must be a team" line is scumposting, plain and simple.

Okay, the mod has just informed me that I am no longer able to vote for Ozgin. My vote was automatically removed from him, and that is why he's not dead.

I don't especially have a case at this moment. I could probably come up with one if I felt like it. I believe I'm allowed to have an opinion without drawing out painstaking reasons for it.

A question for anyone who wishes to answer.

Is anyone assuming this is an all-town wagon?
Do people think I'm being bussed and, if so, by who? Since dramonic won't tell me, perhaps one of you can.
If I did happen to be town (if it's even possible to imagine such a scenario), who would be scum here?

This isn't productive!

I don't especially think you're scum, really. We're just in a very awkward position today because we only have three lynches to choose from and all of them are bad.

I think Skybird, Ankamius, TSO and theaceofspades are scum. I don't see that changing tomorrow unless we get a scum flip.

However, F16's flip reveals that only lasts for today, so...

That's a good idea and everyone voting him probably needs to do it, especially if they haven't read the thread Espeonage.

We're in a good enough position, and seemingly have enough vigs, that we should be able to get away with a no lynch.

Where was it implied that I was bulletproof? I'm most definitely not.

Sorry, I'm obviously playing so poorly you all are scum reading me. I'm not appealing to emotion here so don't go there. Just stating a fact.

It's been my experience that when a person scum reads you but won't state a case that person is scum. Otherwise why not state the reasons so they can be refuted? (If I can't refute the reasons, then that's my bad.) That is why I am scum reading Cephrir. He refuses to make a case on me.

-I am not the only one calling you scummy but you only care about my lack of case
-I just pointed out how you don't have one on your suspects either
-I will do it eventually if I have to in order to get what I want but it seems like people largely agree with me
-people do this all the time and it's not scummy

1. Okay, so ask everyone instead of just badgering me about it. And you're the one calling me scum, but not saying the same about anyone else who suspects you. THis is not an effective way to get my attention -- quite the opposite actually.
2. I completely agree with you. Neither of us is scum for that reason. My point was that you should stop using it.
3. Doubtful!
4. It's something that's frequently done. I absolutely could provide reasoning. I just haven't felt like it/don't need to yet.

My scumreading theace is largely POE as well.

His stance on AP was weird and never made sense, and I prodded him about it multiple times but he refused to clarify.

And he's one of very very few players who have not at any point done a single thing to make me think they were town.

I'd shoot Skybird first if that were possible but apparently it isn't.

I don't see how that's relevant.

I guess I should start assuming I'm dead. I'm not 100% sure whether I should out the last thing I have to out to my neighborhood, or to here, or not at all.

Perhaps obviously, that thing has to do with my crumbs around The Mask yesterday.

You should care. There's no reason to ditch a townie along with him today when you could have a free lynch tomorrow or even vig tonight.

Given that we're order aligned, I am assuming chaos is mafia.

It doesn't feel like as good a win as it would if I felt like I did anything to contribute to it.

Though learning that I died for reasons basically unrelated to my play was somewhat comforting.

Records exist to be broken, as much as I was hoping to fill that page with my games.

I don't know if there's a correlation, someone should do the math!

i could see letting a third party know who the scum are, though i would never do that myself and it could have made the game totally stupid

i just don't especially appreciate being told he was mafia when he wasn't

there's no universe where that isn't lying

if i sound upset about this, i dont really actually care, just.... if you're going to lie to the players, don't say in the queue that you aren't going to
