In post 987, petapan wrote:you're really incredibly superbly bad at posting, almost as bad as T-bone
but i'll humor you and argue with you for a bit since you're blatantly wrong
nowhere in posting a list did i say those people were scummy or even lurking, just that they hadn't been active and it was my idea that i should read up on them when they have become more active, and hell why not post it in the thread so that people can be reminded who to keep tabs on? you are shitting the bed real hard over something that was essentially a public note. if you legitimately think i'm not posting content, maybe go circlejerk with T-bone and throw names in lists and laugh about how protown you are, but i back up everything i say it's just that the knuckledraggers don't pick up on it
so i guess you live up to your username, really
In post 710, petapan wrote:In post 659, Hoopla wrote:In post 657, petapan wrote:no, he isn't. his posts are low-effort garbage inflated with things like useless lists to mask the lack of substance, hope this helps
I agree the lists thing is garbage, but a lot of people present their reads in garbage ways. I think his attempts to foster a voting bloc is town motivated, even though I think that is also pointless right now (and not including the right people). Calling someone scum for those reasons is even lazier than you think T-Bone is being.
i had considered that he was just really bad at posting but my biggest problem with him is that his only consideration for calling people town is "writes long posts" which granted is something some who is Really Dumb might think, but it's also a thing I could see scum doing because they're looking to call people town based on easy criterion without really evaluating them, essentially just cutting corners and only arguing with people they see as weak and it's something i could see myself doing as scum which is why i don't like it
fair point about the voting bloc intentions though, i disregarded it because normally i'd think it kind of null but given the voting mechanics this game it makes a little more sense for someone to want to do that so w/e
UNVOTE:
moneybags vote is okay i guess, he seemed mostly trolly to me but also pretty blatantly not trying, i think by the same critera elmo is worse so i'll go back to that lynch
VOTE: elmo

i promise you i will get on that wagon with you at some point because i've been trying to say that but am bad at conveying my points
Petapan looks pretty townish, if I have to say so myself. Some other people, though... VOTE: MilkI've quit the site. Don't PM me; I won't respond.-

^Scum trying to shut another player up with threats. I see no town motivation in this threat.
For that to be true, then you must think that the argument he is making is a valid one
Okay, you two can keep on arguing why it would be very wise for Spy to want to get lynched before T-bone, even if they are not part of a mason group. I will not waste my time trying to explain why that is borderlining on horribleness.
PS: The town motivation is called: "Trying to shut down distractions"
PPS: Even if I was scum, why would I make a threat and shut downthat?
Admittedly, there are a lot of distractions in this game.I've quit the site. Don't PM me; I won't respond.-

Just looked into Muffin/kondi's posts about Fritzler. He starts off by suspecting him of being a mime, and later, after all the mimes flip, continues suspecting him. He doesn't really explain why (the only reasons are failing to live up to a promise, and not towntelling.)
VOTE: Amrun Pretty weird play with respect to Fritzler.

On another note, every wagon seems to come out of nowhere, with no place for discussion. It's just a few people leading the way. For example, if you look at Dramonic's ten posts, not one of them has made any attempt to be useful. The sad part is, most of us are the same way, just posting more often!

If I picked someone random and tried to prove they were scum by using faulty logic and going with my gut, yes, that would be "trying", but would it be a good idea? That's what most of the discussion has tended to be. Admittedly cfj was an obvious scum, but the rest of the lynches haven't gone that way. MattP got lucky with a read; that is all.I've quit the site. Don't PM me; I won't respond.-

That's a sufficiently townish reply, isn't it? It is certainly WIFOM, though I can't say anything about its taste. (Either that or scum stupidity.)
Furthermore, this game's mechanics are such that the best way to stay alive would be to stay under the radar. If nobody on the scum team thinks you're a threat, it naturally means the scum won't kill you, and vice versa. This logic also partly holds true for towns as a whole, in that we tend to want to lynch someone we have strong feelings about. That logic dominates the current meta, and provides opportunities for the scum to effectively control the entire game.
PEdit: Nobody really wanted to lynch Delta except for possibly TeCh, and I even have doubts about him. I agree; let's move on.I've quit the site. Don't PM me; I won't respond.-

Since we're all in the mood to play hangman, I'd like to propose that we hang Elli, since he has contributed absolutely nothing to this game. Frankly, I am shocked that he lasted this long. We're getting to the point where active lurkers are nearly as likely to be scum as those who actually make scummy posts.
VOTE: Elli
Also, Delta's death was followed by a questionable move Day and Night 9 (namely, scum seeming to let us drag on with what little discussions we are having), and that set off a major red flag in my head. Renewing my scum-angel suspicions, as I see no plausible explanation for this. I sensed a definite change to a sickeningly uninterested mood from many of us. Could that mean scum are being complacent?I've quit the site. Don't PM me; I won't respond.-
