From what I've read from other games...Pooky won't gurantee when pressed, and he already offerred it in an on-going game (he only offers it 1 at a time).

There is very little advantage to the town knowing that I'm 1-shot, whereas witholding this information from the mafia is a plus in our direction. It draws fire away from a presumably-existent regular cop, giving him/her more time to get some investigations done.

My argument above explains why I didn't come out with this info on day 1.

When did you know that you had indeed found scum, and ran out of investigations?

Parts of your argument doesn't make sense to me yet.

It would make more sense if you didn't reveal the 1-shot-ness on Day 1, because you may have had subsequent investigations if Pooky turned out to be a Townie Doctor.

I got to investigate until I found a scum.

Yesterday, you weren't 100% sure about Pooky's alignment, based on weapons that you found.

If Pooky hadn't been confirmed as scum at end of Day 1, would you have gotten subsquent investigations?

In all of my games, role blocks are all im the same layer of effects. You can't role block a role blocker (unless the role specifically says so).

If we simplify things we get 4 basic scenerios:

First: the truth, I am protown and have the 1 shot roleblocker thing: plausable

Second: I am town without the one shot roleblocker thing: I must be stoned, I'm lying to town and going to get myself lynched.

Third: I am scum with 1 shot roleblocker thing: why the crap do I have an ability that is like 99.9% likely to help town? This seems nonsensical.

Fourth: I am scum without 1 shor robleblocker thing: I must be stoned, I'm going to get myself lynched when they realize I don't have the ability.

You all wake up. Everyone is a little bit soggy from the world wide flood that occurred last night and prevented you all from going out. That is, except Fritzler who was sent into high orbit.

I've been busy with various stuff lately so haven't kept up much with mafia games.

As for this game, I'm still suspicious of viper, and him dismissing questions with one liners isn't helping lessen my suspicion of him.

In re-reading, I notice very subtle agreement between Turbovolver / Sotty7 and mathcam. They seem to attack other people separately, but never seem to attack each other.

At this point...I think Turbovolver / Sotty7 and mathcam are in the same group, either scums or cult.
