Not sure what purpose answering these five questions serve, any chance you could take part in the answering?

1] Friend of mine in college, (WillowsWeep) introduced me to the site and mechanics.
2] History of being pretty arrogant/defensive. Not sure how I'll be this time around.
3] Can't really answer that until the game has finished.

Unsure why you'd regret having a vote on a bandwagon when you've announced that you're access will be limited. Just feels like an easy out if there's a lynch.

This is the point in the game where I am most laid back. Wagons in general, I might hop on, but only if I'm like second or third. I don't like when people join wagons late. Its scummy. My understanding is that Becks wagon is mostly RVS.

Am I the only one who was thinking "I join wagons early because if I join late I look scummy."

@ Nintendo, ... Nope.

@ Kendall, ... Are you usually this aggressive so early on?

k e n d a l l wrote:also, that still doesn't explain to me how tunneling can be considered pro-town.
even if you are "convinced" that person is a mafia member, there is still a chance that you are wrong. if you only tunnel that player and they flip innocent, you wasted a whole day where you could have been looking at other suspiscious members.

I'm more or less in agreeance with you on this point, It doesn't necessarily accomplish anything really. I am bothered that Beck is basically keeping a vote based on dislike, but I feel it's more personal then scummy. It's not pro-active either. I do take into consideration though that this is day one, if it continues I may be more inclined to eyeball more closely for it.

I believe also though that tunneling can be misconstrued as gut instinct for some players. In the instance of Beck though, I believe it's more disdain.

I wasn't asking you to change kendall. It takes all methods from all personality types to play this game ... That's what makes it fun for me  . I was just curious if this was a new style of play or your norm, and instead of me digging through your history you've answered my question.

In your first post you made it apparent as to why you voted for Bob .. I wasn't making the statement that you voted for him as OMGUS, You did however by keeping your vote on him simply because you don't like him.

You're tunneling b/c of a dislike is really my only point. The only reason I removed my vote when I did was b/c it was random on my part, and I have seen you ask some questions to other players.

@ Kendall .. I don't agree with you overall, but I do agree with the point that you made regarding tunneling. If that looks as though I'm trying to back you up b/c you're my scum buddy, well then that's pretty bad play on my part, don't you think? Agreeing on a point is quite different then agreeing with everything that you've said. As for feeling necessary to announce in thread that I agreed with a point, well that's kind of the point of the game. You know, discussion. If you read my previous posts in full, I'm sure you'll find the answer as to why I "hopped" onto beck's bandwagon.

what specifically do you find scummy about his vote? i'm confused because you contradict yourself. if you think he is just voting for him because he doesn't like him, rather than actually having a reason, what make you believe he has a mafia agenda behind it?

I don't find anything particularly scummy about Beck's vote.

Where am I contradicting myself?

I have never stated that I believe that Beck has a mafia agenda behind voting for anyone. I do believe that I stated that I don't think that it's the most pro-active way of going about things. You know, the holding a grudge bit. If it's effective for him, then great ... I just don't see the logic behind it.

To clarify, once again ... When I voted for Beck, it was random. A random bandwagon was formed to continue discussion at the time and it was my first post to vote. It worked. My vote now is on the player I find to most likely be scum at the moment.

I would just like to point out that all this talk about number 1 and number 2 just make me think of potty training my 3 year old,

All joking aside.

@Mikehart, Could you elaborate some more on your previous statements in your last post?

Most likely the mafia are having a field day with all this banter, eyes have shifted. Plenty of good content so far though. Need to hear from those lurkers out there,

@Silver,

Silver1337 wrote:I think bobsnox = Jester, actually. Look, he's simply posting dumb things.

Not much different then your posting. You haven't really participated with the discussion at all ... In fact the only things that you've stated are that you didn't want to random vote and that bob is a jester. I know your sig says lurker, but it would help if you actually placed a vote or an fos. It's early in the day, but there's plenty of leads to play with.

@Ray, .. I just want to point out that the only reason that I stated "in thread" was because kendall did. You can make of it what you'd like though.

Yeah, no problem ...

Mikehart, Post 186 wrote:One: its hart with a t. mikehard sounds like a pornstars name.

Two: You don't seem to read very well. Bobs point was it seems like like you are trying too hard to seem town. Not that your actions are too protown.

Three(this ones for ray too): it wasn't my intention to bring up offsite experience as an excuse or as anything regarding meta but just describing my thought process on reasons I could understand the extreme(again, my opinion) distancing when there wasn't really call for it. Also, I don't think your playstyle was discussed several times. A few maybe. But not several.

Four: In my opinion your attempts to seem pro town are over the top and I do find that scummy so there is your pinpoint.

Five: I'm not on any bandwagon. I FoSed you, not voted. Also, I'm not mirroring Umbrage or bob but pointing out that I feel you are scummy. It just happens to be the same reasoning as bob so I said so.

Six: I tend to disagree on about mafia members fear players with a voice. Players with a strong vehement voice like your draw a lot of attention that may have otherwise been directed elsewhere.

Seven: I understand about not trusting anyone but your distancing was just over the top.

Above underlined. I'm just curious as to why you believe Kendall to be acting pro town, instead of possibly just being town. Besides the aggressiveness, what is over the top/scummy to you?

I was thinking more BabyJ ...

Having Kendall take a couple days to move might just be what we need for everyone to get on board. I do believe that there are still some players who haven't even confirmed their role yet. That is if I read the first page correctly.

Also, Kendall probably should read the moderators first rule of the game.

Would really like to hear an opinion from Soda, Beefster, Silver, Hiraki, Hipaddict, Glowball, Fourseen, Diddin, and Chkflip. Not to mention those that haven't even posted. Maybe some fresh brains could add to the mix.

glowball wrote:It doesn't make her scum- it's just the newbie way of thinking. It's easy for me to fall into that trap too, if I know I am town and then all of a sudden tons of people vote me it is very easy in the newbie mindset to think all of them are scum, the whole "it's not me, so it must be you" thing. It's null, and when they get a chance to breathe they will realize that friends aren't town and enemies aren't scum. It's a null tell, and so is all the reasoning against her.

See how it says ... R.I.P. he trusted mathcam beneath my avatar. The above explains exactly that. I too played similarily when I first started playing mafia. Mathcam took me under his wing so to speak in the game and I fully trusted him so much that in the end, it was I who was killed and scum won a victory. If Kendall isn't scum, I'm sure scum see him more as a puppet who they can get to do whatever they need.

The game is much different in person because you can read faces and feel out vibes. Playing mafia on a website is almost like a little girl talking to some pervert on the internet. The whole time the little girl just thinks she's chatting with one of her friends. Sick comparison I know, but it's the best relation that I could conceive.

For the above reason, I'm inclined to continue watching Kendall.

I reference to Glowball's post 241,

Kendall's bandwagon seems more scummy then Beck's. Personally, I like where my vote is at ... on bob. The emotional crap will get us all killed. In no way does this behavior clear the path for Kendall, as she may very well still be scum, I just don't think that she's the right choice for today.

Scott Brosius wrote:

Soda
- I don't really know what to say. Not enough content put into the game. V/LA until monday.

Umbrage
-Tunneling. Then I see this,

Umbrage wrote:Glowball oozes town btw. Bobsnox is also scum, but
I doubt he's on the same team as kendall
. Everyone else is null and posting too much. Chill.

What's with the team bit? Any opinion as to why you feel bob is scum? You're pretty adament about kendall being scum. Any inside info?

bobs
- Tunneling as well. Voting kendall for,
1. Playing the newbie card.
2. Kendall's paranoia
3. Kendall trying too hard.

Not very solid reasoning for early game play, IMO.

Ray
-

Appears to be voting kendall more out of frustration from my POV. Content is appreciated. Actively scumhunting from what I can see in the beginning.

Nintendo
- Seems very annoyed with kendall's playstyle more so then being suspicious of her being scum. I don't really see anything concrete. Maybe opportunistic scum?

DonJosh
- I think he needs some more pressure,
Vote: DonJosh
. Although Bobs is still pretty high on my suspect list, DJ played opportunistic scum in his last post. Answered the five questions, hasn't added anything else to the game besides a vote for kendall with some battering.

Kendall
- She is who she is and that is that. Just an agressive player from my standpoint right now. Still not excused. Just feels she's more paranoid then scummy. Opinion could always change though.

Not trying to prod players, but am still waiting here from some of them. Some are being replaced I s'pose and what not.

It's been more than 72 hours since Don has posted, and he's only got like 4 total posts ... meh.

Contemplating about moving on to another suspect ...

Could always go back to bob, or maybe try silver.

Without the activeness, the game begins to cease and get confusing as hell from my standpoint.

Alright guys, I'm sorry for the lack of posts. Real life setting in. Plus every time I had a chance to read, there was only time for maybe 2 pages at a time. The game has truly picked up.

I'm still content with my vote for DonJosh. I don't really agree with controlling who gets to answer the next mini game. I'm fine with leaving it random and first come first serve. The moderator announces the winner. Any reads we can get from it great, otherwise it's pretty null at this point.

I'm sure a question or two have been asked to me directly, as well as the statement of being called out by hiraki. I'll try my best to answer when I have more time though as this is my weekend to work. Currently at work now where I can check in from time to time, but I don't know how detailed of a post I can make.

Need to look further at umbrage and see exactly what's going on with that.

The interaction between Glowball and Rainbow I find interesting.

I'm starting to feel a scummier vibe coming from Glowball.

I think Glowball is pushing just a little too hard for his lynch. Stating in one post that DonJosh is probscum, but yet he's not your number one choice for this day is ok. What I don't understand is how Umbrage will be off the hook tomorrow, or a much harder player to lynch. If umbrage continues to be scummy, there will be others who will support the lynch.

I feel as though DonJosh has almost given up. Why keep him around for the extra vote in a scum group? Umbrage is at least providing some of his thoughts and what not.

@ Ray ... I feel similar to you with going back and forth with where I stand on Glowball. Although I feel that she's making a good point, I guess I'm just hesitant to agree with her. How do you feel about her wanting to flake out of the game because she can't get her way?

I'd feel more comfortable going after umbrage today instead of tomorrow if more of the town were on the same page. However, the three players that currently are voting for Umbrage aren't my top most likely town. Out of the seven voting for DonJosh, I'm damn near 100% sure of one player's townieness with two others following in a close second.

It's not so much that I don't support the wagon on Umbrage, I just don't support those pressing it as hard.

Mod: When I asked about updating the player list, I was referring to adding PetroleumJelly and TheJakalope. It still reads Mb53 and DonJosh.

Bah I definitely changed it, I guess I never clicked submit. Fixed.

My vote for DonJosh originated as pressure. Don just flaked on questions asked at the time. He made promises to read the game and flaked. I don't like it when someone states, I'll post this great post and then just return to say ... You know what nevermind, I don't even know why I stated that.

I'm not going to jump on Umbrage as he's claimed BoPeep. I don't know if I support another player counter claiming this early in the game either just in case Umbrage is full of fluff.

Remember though that just because Umbrage has claimed watcher doesn't mean that she couldn't be a mafia goon/watcher. I don't want to meta game, but I see BoPeep as being a town player until something else hints otherwise.

Unvote: DonJosh/PetroleumJelly

I don't know if you realize this or not, but as this game re-opened I replaced into another large game with 40+ pages. If you saw me on the boards, it was because I was sitting on my back porch reading part of the game I replaced in on my cell phone.

Posting on a daily basis at the very least is not lurking from my standpoint, and never will be. I work for a living and also have a family to tend to. By the time I make time for these games and find myself reading them, it can get a little overwhelming. Any lurking I do is related more so to RL, not the game. This game is already up 3 pages since it opened last night. Call me a slow reader, but I've got a schedule for reading and I try to squeeze in posting. Sometimes if it's a slow night at work I can add many thoughts .. Other times internet access is sparce to the point where I can only read from my phone. If I'm on my phone, I will not usually post because it's too much work to include quotes.

You want a stance from me?

I still stand strong against Bobsnox, but until he posts I don't feel that there really is anything that I can add to it.

Fourseen, I'm having a hard time believing that he's confirmed town (Pending the double vig theory which I find unlikely).

Glowball, Congratulations. You've pinned scum. However you compromised sooo much that I don't really find the logic of fake claiming followed by your gloating into the following day to be very town like. Why did you choose to counter claim BoPeep of all roles? I don't buy the possibility of you being a cop with a guilty result as this game started in the day phase and you didn't push for umbrage's lynch until later in the day. That kind of attitude has and probably always will rub me as scummy.

Vote: Glowball

I feel as though that you knew Umbrage was scum so much so at the point in which you voted him only due to the fact that you're scum with him. Countering his claim would be easy for Glowball, especially if you too received a list of safe name claims with your role. I can't confirm whether or not the mafia received any safe claims, but having modded large theme games myself, it is completely possible.

I don't believe in lynch all liars in all cases. I mean shit, at least you were honest about at some point. I would have believed you more though had you come right out of the gates with it.

If there's a contest and I see it .. For the record, I will attempt to play for the one time ability. Just saying.

Also @FA

At the point where I had stated that I most likely wouldn't vote BoPeep as it's a town role unless otherwise hinted ...

The extra hint that it was smelly was Glowball's counter. So I don't really know what you are insinuating. Any support provided to Umbrage was simply for the name he claimed .. one that I was sure would be/possibly could be still in this game.

Also, since my wagon seems to be based alot on lurking .. Please look at some other players before barking up this tree. I may not post frequently, but when I do, I feel it provides substance. There are far more players that have made a handful of posts just skating by ...

Quick Iso just revealed seven posts made by silver, last one made on august 8th.

I don't find lurking as a scum tell to begin with, but for those of you who do ... again, read my posts and you'll see I've provided substance. As far as I can tell I haven't left any questions directed towards left unanswered either.

Funny thing too is that when I do post, the thread suddenly becomes quiet.

Heading off to work now where I'll try to keep an eye open for reading, can't make any guarentees on posting though.

I've noticed snakeside also listing me as possible scum without any reason ... It's been noted.

If you're referring to my reasoning for voting Umbrage ... It was because he was counter claimed at the time. I still stand by stating that if BoPeep were in this game, she'd be town. However, I considered Glowball to be more pro town then Umbrage at the time. Glowball counter claimed Umbrage and was adament in that Umbrage was scum. I thought the best choice at the time was umbrage.

I have the same issue but I'm sure as shit not whiny or not posting thoughts on people. Lets add to the fact you just inned for another game and it decreases to scummy posting
Don't worry sweetie I have a huge post in mind for you tonight (or in the morning if the hubby doesn't relinquish the computer tonight).

Mod: I'm giving up on Snake who seems to have all but disappeared on me and wish to have farside as the main account from here on in.
Thanks!

Actually, my only complaint is that some of the players in this game have high expectations as to how frequently another player should post. I don't expect any empathy from you.

I'm sure as shit not bitchy. I am posting my thoughts on others. I sure as hell have added more substance to this game then either you or snakeside have.

Not that me having signed up for another game really has anything to do with your argument, but my posting has decreased to scummy? Explain, because I thought the issue was that I wasn't posting at all considering that I just had a chance to post in the game earlier today (which btw was within 24 hours of it opening).

Please don't speak to me as if you're my mother, and check your facts before you go on a tangent related to my actvity. Posting on a daily basis/even every other day is being active no matter what anyone thinks in this game. I've played on this site since 2003, and my activity level has never been questioned as long as I made the commitment of posting daily. I have more posts then your snakeside account.

Note to self, If I ever moderate another game ... Do not allow any hydras.

I see that as a fair argument as long as all on board with doing so ... however, some of the pro town reads of players could be wrong ... regardless of who obtains the ability, the mod will be announcing the winner. You'll be able to monitor that player and how they respond with the ability.

Not everyone has the same reads, and no one is confirmed anything until passing.

First off can someone explain CC ... I don't recognize the lingo. I don't know how to defend the fact that FA believes I supported Umbrage's fake claim openly unless he means the fact that he claimed BoPeep. I didn't think anyone else would counter the BoPeep claim as I was sure at the time that she'd be in the game. Once Glowball countered, I had to take a side ... At the time I felt Glowball was more protown then Umbrage.

I found the quote. All I meant by that was since it was day one and Umbrage may have fake claimed, I didn't want another player to come out and state ... Hey, I'm BoPeep with this great valuable pro town power, while Umbrage in turn outs a pro town power role. I guess mafia godfather for a pro town role isn't a bad idea now that I look back. I just didn't want a powerful townie (doc, cop, and blocker for example) to be exposed if Umbrage was just full of fluff. Glowball only claimed bopeep ... never an ability. So from my standpoint during the time ... it worked out. Had glowball not mentioned lying about the claim today, then I'd probably be supporting Glowball at this time.

@ Farside ... All I've read from you regarding me are simply opinion. There isn't anything there that asks a question. I don't care if others don't like my 'style' of play. I don't post my reads unless there's a substantial reason to do so from my point. I'm sure as hell not going to run down the list right now either as I'm currently working until 1130p just to be back awake tomorrow at 5am. So if you want something answered, then be a straight shooter. I don't get the babble behind why you feel I'm scum and I'm not going to waste energy responding to your 'reasoning'.

Everyone has an opinion in this game whether it's popular or not. The wagon forming on me is shit, and everyone knows it. To think that you and rainbow would come straight out of the gates voting for me ... You don't think that Jmurph and Jakelope were just a bit opportunistic.

I find it funny that again here we are. The main people that I'm interested in as being scum don't really post. I am not after them for not posting either, but I feel any points I've raised against Bobs have completely vanished. I don't meta players from other games unless I too was involved in the same game.

You don't like my style of play, then lynch me. I have no problem claiming as I've got nothing to hide.

Bobsnox - Scum. Initially tunneling, then changes to vote hopping. Opportunistic scum. Every post is a one liner. Majority of his questions (non game related). Something has seemed off about it from the beginning. Just look at him in ISO.

Jmurph - I didn't suspect anything of Jmurph until just recently. Lurker, sure. Otherwise everything was good until #1537. She's sheeping and it's day 3. Never ever mentioned at any point in the game that she thought I was scum. Suddenly she votes because I never gave any satisfactory answers for inconsistencies and suchforth? That is crap. What were the questions Jmurph? If you thought this during day 2, then why not mention it? If you did a reread through the night, why not add a better reason to your vote?

Everyone was calling me out on my lurking, and the umbrage bit, which I still don't quite understand. I simply chose the Umbrage wagon over the donjosh as I didn't believe Umbrage once he was countered by glowball. I don't know how else to explain that. That's my version of what happened, what others think is just that.

TheJakalope - Scum. has all but three votes in this game, all of which have stated nothing more then so and so is scum.

Glowball - LOL to the above. Not the fact that she's dead, but to the fact that she was just simply a townie. Now that's some good stuff. I did begin to question Glowball's alliance towards the end, but it was based on her lying.

Silver - Just pisses me off that this slot has not been replaced and it's been almost 2 weeks. I don't think Silver is scummy, I just don't think that he ever read the game exluding tidbits.

PeregrineV - A lot of votes without a reason provided with them and some hopping around. I could see him as scum. Posts are short.

Mikehart - Hasn't really voted much. Seems overwhelmed, I can relate. However, there were a couple days without any posting ... maybe he'll show up tonight. I don't remember a whole lot about Mikehart excepts that he's famous for flaking the site here and there. Null read right now.

I have other reads, but the above ones seemed most needed to be mentioned.

My scum reads are lurkers, and I feel like I'd have more of a case if they would just post some more. IDK. Just a bit frustrated.

I have to read into some other players, especially those that have replaced as I'm still not quite sure who their predecessors were off the top of my head.

You haven't even read the game yet, but have time to catch up on the last few posts? ...

Then you ask for a quick summary of my wagon, how about you read. I caught up and am not really all that flustered right now.

As for the lurkers bit, I still did post more then all of the players that were listed in my last post. My posts aren't all one liners either.

Btw, Nice to meet you, and welcome to the game.

Considering that Rainbow claimed, I am indeed one of rainbow's neighbors ... Alien #3

farside22 wrote:Also NtW I asked you a question about FA you never answered

I would have answered had I posted since you asked. If you're referring to a read on FA. At this point in time I'm going to say town. Claim of woody and JOAT placed him as town on my list. Earlier in the game I will admit that I thought he was scum. Looking back I think it's just his playstyle that rubbed me the wrong way. I assumed he was scum trying to take over the town.

bobsnox wrote:WHO ELSE HAS LASERS IN TOY STORY NANOOK? WHO? You should be lynched just for trying to kill me.

That said, I don't have lasers ;_; I just have cool protective suit. And if Nanook is town, I guess my plan didn't accomplish much. But is he town? Is Rainbow town? Apparently Rainbow and her other buddy wanted Nanook dead. So maybe they aren't the soldiers. hmmm...

Just because you claimed laser doesn't mean anything to me. For all I knew at the time, you were lying ... which by the way obviously you were. The protective suit bit seems a bit odd, but I guess it could make sense if it were me last night who failed to kill you due to your protective armor. Then again it could have been rainbow who failed due to being jailed, IDK.

I will make this known though that I feel that if you are claiming Buzz lightyear, you still could be scum. Buzz can easily be manipulated as you had seen in Toy story 3. Also, you mentioned maybe we're toy soldiers .... If you had read the game you would have noticed that Rainbow claimed aliens as our neighborhood.

bobsnox wrote:We need to figure out why nanook thought killing buzz lightyear was a good idea

I wasn't, I was trying to kill you ... Being buzz lightyear is null from my viewpoint anyways as he had been turned into a bad guy in the third movie by Lotso.

PeregrineV wrote:@Nanook- You've been outed as a neighbor. Since you know that everyone feels one of you three is scum, I'd like to here your thoughts on who it is and why. And how you feel about being the target of your "neighbors" last night.

When I received this role, I interpreted it as 3 man mason group with a vigilante ability. However, one of the three members made sure to inform me that there is a possibility that one of us could be scum and that we indeed were not a masonry group, but instead neighbors. I haven't ever been in such a role scenario before, so I never even suspected that one of the other members could be scum. It arised at some point that rainbow and ??? believed me to be scum because I wasn't necessarily being as open with my reads. Reasoning for not being very open about them is because I couldn't keep up with the game and give them. I refused to talk to my neighbors at one point out of frustration.

If one of the others is scum out of my group, then I couldn't tell you which one I suspect more as I see both of them as scum right now to be completely honest.

At this point I think it be best to

Vote: Jakalope

I think he needs some pressure and I wouldn't mind seeing a claim. I feel he's dodging some questions and adding input that's needed in this game.

I apologize still for my lack of activity recently, however things in RL have arised that limit my time for this site. I have already asked for replacement in 2/4 of my games. I'm doing my best to stay in this one ... even if my neighborhood wants me dead.

I'll also state that if the town feel it necessary for me to be investigated, then so be it. I don't suggest doing it tonight though, maybe the following. I have a feeling that now 2 out of the 3 of us are out in the open about our roles that scum may want to limit our vigging ability.

In regards to either Mikehart or Blondedoctor, I could support either wagon at this time as well. I may not have been the most active, but I honestly can say that I've read this entire game up to this point. Without substance I don't really have a read on either player.

1. I chose Bobsnox because I wanted to target someone that I found suspicious and I wasn't going to help the neighborhood by targeting myself. I pretty much knew from observation of day talk that that is how they were leaning. Also, Bobs hint at being Buzz lightyear just made me feel more that he could either be scum or vig.

2.
NanookTheWolf wrote:If one of the others is scum out of my group, then I couldn't tell you which one I suspect more as I see both of them as scum right now to be completely honest

The above should read as:

If one of the others is scum out of my group, then I couldn't tell you which one I suspect more as I don't see both of them as scum right now to be completely honest. I don't know how I forgot the don't part, ... I'm horrible with sentence construction.

So yeah, both Farside and Rainbow probably have a good case against me. If I were in their shoes I'd feel the same ... My only defense is that returning after 2 years and jumping right back into 4 games apparently was stupid. That's really all I've got on that. If my neighbors choose me tonight, then I will most likely join them.

NanookTheWolf, I%u2019m not quite sure your explanation for targeting bobsnox in Post 1659 actually explains why you are suspicious of bobsnox (though I guess my question did not specifically ask why you were suspicious of him, just why you targeted him). Could you be more concrete?

Additionally, why did you want to kill bobsnox on Night One?

Night one I wanted bob gone as I don't feel anyone who only posts primarily two lined posts to be all that useful to the town. It was the first night, and honestly I didn't have any reads that were all that great, so I followed suit with Rainbow and Farside which started all the suspicion on me to begin with. I guess they just couldn't understand what my reads were either as they made me aware. Later I wanted to target bobs still because I saw he still continued posting like he did .. just popping in with a quick tid bit, unless of course it had something to do with him.

I don't claim to be a smart player, and I wish that others would stop holding this standard of me. I play mafia for fun, not for ego like so many others do. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I like the mystery that surrounds the game. Out of all the games I've ever played on this site, I may have made it to the end in like 10 games if not less.

My logic behind thinking that buzz lightyear could be scum may be stupid to all of you, but I think it would be bloody brilliant of the mod. So when bobs mentioned lasers, I more or less assumed he was buzz light year. I didn't like the fact that I couldn't really get a read on him, or anyone really for that matter, and in turn want to vig him.

farside22 wrote:It doesn't say we can't talk outside of the QT, but I'm pretty sure MS rules alone falls under the category of not talking outside the game to others unless PM states otherwise.
We can only PM the name to the mod. The mod stated something about us talking in the QT about our choice, but would only accept the name through via PM.

QFT

This is my last game left.

I think I'm still going to stick around and get back into modding. I like reading the games from that viewpoint so much more than trying to prove a case. I guess I became a nurse instead of a lawyer for a reason,

At the Neighborhood: can you guys talk about how you each reacted to having the shared kill? Who brought up how to decide on kills? Etc.

Nanook didn't say anything. I don't remember rainbow's reaction when she came in without reading back through the QT. I laughed my ass off and said cool.

My idea was to have everyone discuss their views on all the players and have everyone agree to one player to vig. This way if there was scum in the neighborhood if the vig hit someone not discussed I would be more certain (instead of paranoid) there was scum in the neighborhood.
As for whom to kill it was mostly me and Rainbow discussing our scum reads. I had certain players, she had certain players and we talked back and forth a bit on why. All Ntw did was list 3 players day 1 without a reason then he conceeded to both Rainbow and myself choosing Borge night 1 without really fighting or saying anything during the discussion (this is why I started to lean scum on NtW).
After my case and points on NtW he stopped talking in the QT (I think since that case he said 3 things in the QT at the most).

@Nanook- Is this true? Did it happen the way Farside said?

@ Pergrine - Yes, that's basically what did happen. It was Night 1, I didn't have a lot of reads yet, I hadn't read most of the thread at that point either. I felt completely overwhelmed, and Farside reminds me entirely too much of Meme and just doesn't let up. I never even thought that one of our members could be scum and was somewhat baffled by the idea of a neighborhood. I too just thought that we were a masonry with vigilante abilities.

@ Bobsnox - You say that you're bulletproof ... Is that only for the night time, or is that during the day as well?

Meme is an aggressive player that has done so many things for this site,

Farside seems extremely devoted to this site, and I give her props for it. I just felt that her expectations were to extreme for me at the time. As I've explained earlier, much has changed in regards to pace in these games since I had last played on the site. Call it an excuse if you want, but you don't see me signing up for more, do you? I also feel that I should stay commited to at least one game upon my return, and this is it.

I did all those things you're assuming that I didn't do peregrine. I just couldn't keep up with the arguments. By the time I returned, it was already determined that I was scum in relation to the rest of my neighbors.

I apologize for any spelling, I'm sending this from my phone and can't make out much of the text.

DN announced early in the game that he was Lenny.

DN lied about being a watcher.

Shortly after being announced to mass claim tomorrow, DN decides to claim today.

DN claims watcher.

Why the vote for DN?

I could see DN wanting to conceal such a role. Although he didn't counter watcher, he did however counter the role name. If fourseen had come out to be scum I would probably have DN as confirmed town on my end, but what baffles me is that Fourseen actually was town.

Could that confusion just have been placed between two town roles? Was fourseen just trying to get out of this game?

Obviously I'm going to go along with my neighbors in order to activate the claw. I just want to make sure that this truly is the route that we should be taking.

Mafia would like to make the move of making our neighborhood appear to be the scum. I know that mikehart was the choice of at least one of my neighbors, personally I chose someone else and possibly another alien did the same. So that being said, the neighborhood would have to take the credit for that town loss.

Nice try bobs ...

The vig kill was mikehart (randomActs) which was I believe rainbow's choice. I submitted blonde and farside did the same.

I will admit that I never had any substantial evidence against bob, but I have gotten a scum vibe from him throught the game. The fact that he didn't know the mechanics of his role yesterday though threw him back into the red for me. Plus I did try to kill bob one night as well, which if I hadn't bobs would probably never had been chosen to be hidden behind.

I'm not claiming a victory at this point, but I'm glad the town can see what bobs really is now.

I'm not going to leave this to the vig team that may or may not have scum on it.

And if the mod kills the spot instead of replacing, then so much the better.

Do you believe Bobs to be less of scum? I think the vig team should be given a chance. We haven't been directed by anyone really, and I like the fact that it's out in the open as to who we should target. I don't have to worry about communicating in the QT with two other players who obviously have their own opinions as to who is scum. I would vote either one of my neighbors for not following suit on today's plan without hesitation. Believe me.

Either all of us are scum or not. Why you picking solely on me? You have a town read on rainbow and farside ... what scum read do you have on me?

Nanook would definitely be the scum in this scenario. He has done nothing but rest on his laurels since his "vig group" started having his back. Even his own vig group admits he does nothing in the QT.

Rest on my laurels? What big scum hunting have you seen today? I recall finding that Bobs is confirmed scum, Kunkstar was pointed out as confirmed scum for vig target, and all the players are supposed to claim.

I've claimed my role already.
I support the Bobs lynch as my vote is placed.
I've confirmed that I'll be submitting Kunkstar's name as my vig choice.

How am I resting on my laurels?

This day has brought more information into the next day. I was prodded for inactivity, which of course was during a time that we were waiting on others to claim. The stuff that took place earlier between my neighbors and I in the QT was simply mis communication from my POV. The QT is an extra step that I forget to check in on as I'm not used to having to use one. When I played on the site two years ago, I don't recall ever having to use one except for Masonry mafia. Obviously things have changed, and I'm trying my best.

I'm not the only one that hasn't been digging up every bit of little information I can in the game. You do realize that there are like 90 pages to skim through.

Plus, you're paranoid. I'm pretty certain of my choices for today. Of course you're going to be hopping around. I feel safe in the moment and don't really see any reason not to. It's a waiting game right now as to whether the mod is going to replace ray or modkill ray.

I'd like to be rid of that scum. Obviously Rainbow's selection went through. Good hit!

Anyone else think that maybe this mason group (Spyrex/Diddin) could possibly be scum? Were they confirmed somewhere that I didn't see .. besides of course confirming each other.

The case on FA is confusing for me. Just the fact that he's woody makes it hard for me to think that he's scum. I know it's a theme and anything can happen, but Woody?

PJ is a possibility I guess, I did find Don Josh to be scummy and was one of the players supporting the lynch. I recall the case being more so because Don Josh was dodgy and once PJ stepped in I didn't find that slot as scummy.

Congratulations scum team, PJ particularly.

Wish I could have done more in the game, it was a pleasure playing with everyone.
