Sure. So far he's jumped on the two biggest reasons with weak reasoning, and hasn't done much -beyond- that.

The first, he jumped on Cooldog, and my gut feeling was that his post was manufactured and that the joking/fluffy manner was just fake.

The second, I feel he's just creating an easy reason to toss Ludi into the pit:
(A) It's the biggest wagon
(B) Ludi himself wants to be thrown in- so how could Oversoul's vote be taken as a bad thing? It's an easy cover-vote for scum.
(C) His main reason is wanting to see them duke it out, NOT that either one of them are scum.

The only unaccounted for kills are odd-night shuriken kills (on ABR, who was claimed watcher, and Ludi, who was scum). This points to an odd-night SK (and he probably has some other special mechanic to balance the fact he can only kill on odd nights, like even night commuter or something).

I am fine with going in the ring vs. Darox/Nero/Kiwi/IS. I feel even if I get lynched, the information should be good. I think there's a current stagnation in the game (for me, at least, and I'm guessing this holds true for the town) because of no clear scum frontrunner out of those 4, because three of those (Darox/Nero/Kiwi) have been less involved, and IS has made very little sense. I'm also in the picture because of lower participation: as you can look back and see, I missed a couple of nights, and been spotty during the day.

Toogeloo doesn't seem to believe Oversoul is scum, which is strange, because he himself confirmed me. A protown player at this point would have put themselves in the ring if they believed I was confirmed, rather than trying to take the hammer vote for themselves and leave an important choice up to the person he had to know to be scum. Secondly, Oversoul doesn't seem to have had a PLAN going into today. I think that if he was scum, he would have been more cognizant of the fact that I was confirmed, and not so paranoid, whereas you, Toog, seemed to have each stepwise evaluations of how the endgame can play out, suggesting you took a lot of time to think about how to survive. The very fact that you're continually trying to bust down my confirmed status (that you yourself set up) speaks to your hold out to win possibilities.

Looking over the ISO's, Oversoul had more interactions with the confirmed scum (that appear genuine, like he didn't have additional knowledge), more discussion of more people overall, and even though he's was rampantly over the place, scummy, and had that crazy gambit thing, I don't think he would do all of that as scum. Zmuffinman thought he was 100% town, too, and Zmuffin had a pretty good read on this game, I think. Finally, if Oversoul was the scum, he'd probably have already voted one of us in because it wouldn't matter who went in with him; it would just matter who the hammerer chose.

It is more dismay that I actually went against the grain of the site meta.

Cause I try to not be one of the nasty, petty players who insult people for choosing wrong at endgame. It's a game.

Even though I'm pretty bemused (that's surprised and confused and frustrated) at your choice, and if you lived within facepalming distance you would have gotten one .

I had a sneaking suspicion there was in FACT a ninja, and that Toog was seeding that doubt to Oversoul.

It also seemed obvious to me at the endgame that anyone who was honestly pro-town would have no problem putting themselves in the ring.

No. Bogre would have still needed to vote correctly, although with his tunneling on me early game and such I don't think the outcome would have been different.

Did you not read my posts at the end of the day saying that I thought you were TOWN and Toogeloo was SCUM?

Yeah, superbly played to Toogeloo in the endgame, although if *runs fingers down blackboard* there were a couple of things that led me to believe you were scum. First, the gestalt of your ISO was scummy, having rarely mentioned the black dragon and focused on attacking the players people already thought were scummy, in addition to lurking a lot through the first few days.

Secondly, you played WAY too back and forth on the last day. When you thought you could swing me to Oversoul, after his 'you two guys crossvote', you pandered to me, and when you thought you could swing Oversoul to me, you pandered to him. Was a smart move, because even at the endgame Oversoul couldn't bring himself out to call you scum. I just thought I saw a WIFOM trap opened up to get me to hammer Oversoul, and I was right.

For my play at endgame, I think I was a little too complacent in thinking that I'd obviously be the one choosing, and I felt I had my choice on lock, especially after Toog refused to go in the ring. That hurt me when Toogeloo flipped positions and started sowing doubt, so I ended up having to prove my case instead of just choosing it.

Still, in Oversoul's boots I think I would have picked the tracker cleared townie to hammer over the left-field possibility any day that the tracker had tracked a ninja, and chalk it down to deus ex mechanics if I got burned.
