Have a wonderful day, everyone.
Except you.
chesskid hasn't hydra'd on MS to my knowledge. And no, it was my idea when I proposed we hydra, the main reason for the hydra was that our reads mesh well when we are both town in a game, and I don't think I've ever signed my posts as part of a hydra anyway, this is just taking this forward a step. Is there any reason you ask apart from mere curiosity?farside22 wrote:@Gaggle: I know Faraday has been a hydra before. Chesskid have you done hydra before?
Faraday head is there a reason you want to speak as one or was that Chesskid's idea?
I just wanted to try somethin different mostly, I tried it before [account frayed] and it didn't work as we had 3 people so I'm hoping for more success here.farside22 wrote: Well another ongoing game, you don't sign your name but it's clear your speaking as yourself as you mention the other person you Hydra with. I was curious why you want to speak as one in this game. Just something I ponder when I see something different in another game.
Fair enough. One final question: Do you think we should nominate ourselves to go backstage, or seeing as we are two, should weallow those who have only one head the chance to bounce reads around?OhGodMyLife wrote:They obviously don't have the same hyper-inflated sense of self worth that I have. If you have confidence in your game, you should want to be a part of the masonry each night. Not doing so is simply limiting your interactions, which is always scummy.
We are chesskid3 and Faraday.WrathChild wrote:I actually think this is a very good idea. Who are you two again?A Gaggle of Geese wrote:Fair enough. Try 10-20.Seacore wrote:You are going to make the next 5 pages all about you and waste our time.
We agree with this, in that it is town-on-town and only gets more apparent every time each of them posts. (Our stronger townread is on Ghostlin, but we are also rather confident in SGR town)Ythill wrote:SGR v Ghost is boring me. I feel like the stances are clear on both sides.
Ahahahahaha. Faraday nailed it. We both agreed you were scummy as hell after 242, and he was like "hey let's vote Farside with no explanation so she can omgus us".farside22 wrote:*adds GG to scum list*

Let's expand that first quote, and get some context for the first quote, eh?A Gaggle of Geese wrote:Clearly the scum are everyone who choose to elect A Gaggle of Geese, since they are such obvscum.
/slightly pissed off post, considering that we're obvTOWN/
Oh hey look we're asking people who have elected us [presumably (if not EXPLICITLY) in part because having a hydra backstage is good, because we are two heads who can bounce reads off of each other] to reread you BECAUSE we HAVE bounced reads off each other and both come to the agreement that you are the scummiest player in the game right now. Misrepresent much?A Gaggle of Geese wrote:We would appreciate if those of you who saw fit to trust us with an elect vote would take the time to reread Farside's play this game and consider joining us in voting him.
Our reads differed (and still do) greatly from Ythill's at this point, and pointing out that 3 of his 4 "Scum" were voting to elect us seemed to be the easiest way to communicate the point to him.Ythill wrote:Finished rereading. Both Seacore and Llama have gained some actual cred, the former more so.
Scum (in order): Ghost, ani, wrath, Apok.
People of interest: GG, LL.
Town: vezo, SGR, Seacore, Llama, farside.

So apparently it's not ok for OMGL to suspect that most of SGR's scumbuddies are defending him on an SGR scumflip, but it is ok for you suppose that everyone attacking you is scum.farside22 wrote:out of 3 people on this list 2 of him is due to defending SGR. Or you know, we could lynch farscum and everyone else can have some nice tea and cookies backstage.Ghostlin wrote:Guys, with the GG and farside stuff going on, can I ask you a question?Backstage count wrote:Farside22 (9) – OhGodMyLife, animorpherv1, farside22, Seacore, SGRaaize, AGar,

Regardless of how you feel about GG or farside, do we really want them to go backstage together, get into a possible argument that might derail and dominate the backstage talk considering how they're going at it RIGHT NOW?
blahblahblah....So we won't find any games of yours in which someone makes no cases past stating reads and you don't press them/accuse them of being scum, etc for it?farside22 wrote:It's a reason I find you scummy. It's not the only scum tell. Because if it was the only thing I would call you a dumbass and get to scum hunting or I'm calling you scum. So yes in my book refusing to provide a case is scummy. Let me guess your going to say no it's not, why and keep refusing to make a case right?A Gaggle of Geese wrote: @Farside: Hold on, we get to go first. You are explicitly stating that refusing to provide a case is scummy? Confirm/deny/blather please.
Well lets bypass that question right now.
Scum in my book who refuse or can't make a case, can't do it because they don't know how to present a case on someone other then their scum buddy, town has no reason to refuse to make a case, scum can hide behind voting people more easier if they have no case and blend in.
From what we can interpret of this question, you want to know how often we were going to vote someone with no words to "bait" them into OMGUSing us? Is that the question?farside22 wrote:far wrote:Let me ask you GG: How many baits were you willing to put out there? How many times are you going to bait a player before they are allowed to respond to false scum hunting?
Hey, luckily the massive trollololol decided to take this game seriously, isn't it? Guess I'm a calming influence.farside22 wrote:
I noticed in looking at CK's meta a bit he's a troll that likes to spam alot and likes to argue. I'm still looking into more but the boy really spams hard in games.
@Chesskid (CK) Are you doing to tell me that in all the games you played here at MS no one ever called you out for not making a case before? I noticed in a couple of games you vote with a oneline reason but I didn't see anything were you voted based on a feeling. Do you have examples of you playing this way before.
Again, you misrepresent us. Let's try this again:farside22 wrote:GG is saying I'm calling you scum based on your unelect comment when in fact I had a case on you and voted you way before that. His point on me about calling everyone scum that finds me suspicious I suspect is invalid.
I agree with everything chess has posted, and have posted some of the things in the farside back/forth.Seacore wrote:I'm assuming it's Chess making most of these gaggle posts, (except for the last one, that reads like Faraday) but it's been ages since I've actually played with Faraday, rather than just have him as my best mod buddy.
So I really want to vote Gaggle right now, but I think it's just that Chess looks scummy, which I saw in [Redacted]. Farside isn't coming off scummy to me at this point.
Answering it again so it can be ignored again.A Gaggle of Geese wrote:I can't speak for my other head, since in the QT we both commented immediately after #242 something to the effect of "wow farside is scum". I found it very scummy because I read based on motivation, and there was no pro-town motivation in that post. All I see in that post is sarcasm and discretization.
Both of us or neither of us at this point (though obviously we would love no farside, and farside would love no us).Seacore wrote:At the moment, Farside and Gaggle are going to be backstage with Ythill and I.
Dear god.
I have no problem with either being in there, but it's the both. It's going to be this back and forth business that we've got going right now. Perhaps people want to consider that with their elect votes. Perhaps a few less votes for Gaggle, a few more votes for Llama.
Speaking of which, I'd like to hear a lot more from Llama
Magna's scummy. Agar's comitted some 'towntells' and 'scumtells', on reflection I think I'd have him as slightly pro town, he's reminding me more of his town game than scum game, but more data here will be good. Apok is actually reasonably okay, Llama's entirely neutral and Locke is pro-town.Ythill wrote:Meh. I've been debating swapping my elect from Llama to GG for awhile now. I think you and I can keep them on topic.Seacore wrote:Perhaps a few less votes for Gaggle, a few more votes for Llama.
@GG:Since you're here, what are your reads on Magna, Apok, Llama, AGar, and LL? Was playing the farside tells close to your chest discussed as a tactic in your QT? Now that you've had some time to get used to one another, are you finding that your private discussions are critical enough to diminish confirmation bias or cooperative enough to increase it? If allowed backstage with farside, will you do your part to keep your fight with her from distracting us?
Can you elaborate some? cos I've sort of gotten the opposite read, it's more like his town play I saw when he was attacking me in S2.vezokpiraka wrote:@Ythill: I played with AGar in Reck's LOST games. He was both town and scum in that games. I get the meta read from the language he is using although it may be because this game is bigger than Lost. I still think he is scum.
Also he was scum in mafia on holy orders and acted the same.
Her response isn't logical at all though. Unexplained votes are great. And this is where you guys lost your Town read and Election from me. Somehow, out of the blue, voting for Farside (an analytical player who likes reasoning and logic) and not expecting the reaction is fail. It certainly isn’t some Grand Scum-catching ‘Tarp’.
And this is where you guys lost your Town read and Election from me.
These don't match up. If it's an MD issue why did did it lose us our town read?As said … I disagree completely and am disappointed Faraday let that crap out of your QT. I’m not going to spend countless lines having the equivalent of an MD discussion with you.
Yeah, I don't like my town reads being wagoned, sorry thought that was obvious from the comment, really. Not sure about mineable information either, since vote count analysis is pure crap, but I respect that not everyone disagrees with me on that.So you disagree with Ythill’s and AGar’s presented theories about driving wagons (even on Null and Town reads) Day 1 to create mineable information for Day 4 to 5?
Also; no. It's Faraday. chesskid has no real strong opinion on you, iirc.MagnaofIllusion wrote:He doesn’t. I’d wager that is the Chesskid head speaking. It’s his MO to repeat it endlessly because quite frankly he’s a little troll and I tell him so constantly.Seacore wrote:If you've got more on the case of his scuminess then I'm all ears, because like I said, it was a gut reaction too, but one that I made myself check.
I’ll be more than happy to share my Sercret Invasion story that shows why I pretty much ignore him now.
