chesskid hasn't hydra'd on MS to my knowledge. And no, it was my idea when I proposed we hydra, the main reason for the hydra was that our reads mesh well when we are both town in a game, and I don't think I've ever signed my posts as part of a hydra anyway, this is just taking this forward a step. Is there any reason you ask apart from mere curiosity?

tl;dr: Ghostlin and SGR are townreads and we do not want them lynched.
We would also not like to see Farside elected, as he is null leaning scum, while we have a very very strong townreads on Seacore, for example.


The key is motivation, motivation, motivation.


Ghostlin:
ISO#0: We disagreed on his first post at first. This head took it as a mild towntell due to going A and B the C of D when asked about experience.
While we both agree that the post could be called bad from a strictly theory point of view, neither of us found it scummy.

ISO#1: Reading the thread closely, pro-town intent.

ISO#2: General Helpfulness

ISO#6: While nearly everyone else at this point has elected and stuck with their elects, he responds to changes in the game by Unelecting someone who has dropped in his reads.
Sure, the paragraph above this is weak, but think of motivations. Scum appease. Town don't care about feelings.
Which of these is Unelecting someone in response to them attacking you?

ISO#11: NOt a great case, sure. Yeah, there's a lot of IIoA. But again, if you read that case for pro-town motivation, it's dripping with it.
Scumhunting is about more than buzzwords and textbook approaches, just like being town is not textbook for everyone else.

Both heads of this hydra have almost certainly been called out before for not making cases. Some people believe it to be a scumtell, others don't. We find it very scummy that you find not making cases to be scummy only some of the time. (Read: whenever it suits some underhand purpose)

I'm assuming it's Chess making most of these gaggle posts, (except for the last one, that reads like Faraday) but it's been ages since I've actually played with Faraday, rather than just have him as my best mod buddy.
So I really want to vote Gaggle right now, but I think it's just that Chess looks scummy, which I saw in [Redacted]. Farside isn't coming off scummy to me at this point.

Magna's scummy. Agar's comitted some 'towntells' and 'scumtells', on reflection I think I'd have him as slightly pro town, he's reminding me more of his town game than scum game, but more data here will be good. Apok is actually reasonably okay, Llama's entirely neutral and Locke is pro-town.

Yeah, it was discussed as a tactic, we thought it was a very good idea and are pleased with the results, since farside's pretty much trying to bs her way out of it. As for confirmation bias, no idea, it's pretty hard to tell, I'm not particularly prone to doubting myself, it's hard to explain certain things as I think if I try to explain

why

something is scummy it can sound inadaquate, but yeah. I don't know really, I like to think there's no little confirmation bias. I've no real interest in fighting with farside, I'd just prefer if she was lynched. And we're trying hard to try and not let the farside thing be too much of a distraction.

@Ythill: I played with AGar in Reck's LOST games. He was both town and scum in that games. I get the meta read from the language he is using although it may be because this game is bigger than Lost. I still think he is scum.

This head has only seen Ythill in jurrasic park which is still ongoing, but Ythill is dead and flipped town, and he did vote hop a lot on D1. I have a mild townread on him...from what I gather, the way to read him is in how successful his VCA and other shenanigans are.
