Chesskid's plan was odd. How would voting a champ produce more townreads than all the interaction happening now?
Nero, what did you mean by hero/face mechanic? Why did you ask about delayed flips?
Baby is right to look for patterns in this. A small voting block could have stronger ties.
Vp is balls out!
I love vendettas to the death, IS.
Bella, why do you agree with "DDD's plan?"
Thor, why didn't you help trim the fat in the post you made about trimming fat?
Scott brosius, why pick lowell out as a lurker when others hadn't posted more than him?
Respect to KK for seeing the other POV. But kk- how would a champ vig claim, or mason, be confirmed?
I think there are 17 moves uncast right now. Kise, kk, lowel, gman, primatw, tend, fur, me, and jk.
I dunno my list now. Don't want to lose my votes so...

Feather boas for EVERYONE.
Thor, I like the idea of people making lists and getting rid of people from the bottom (of the list) up. VP and IS were at 1 HP left both, and I needed, really needed, to knock two people out at the same time.
Nero, can you explain your 193 to me? You seemed to be saying that we can't learn form this and defending Scott? Am I missing something?
Baby, are you calling out Vez for lying?
I might be ok with KK having the belt.
First, though...
Throwouts:
Scott
Primate
Fur
Baby
Hoppster
Jedi Knight (is NOT paying attention)
Throwerouters:
Kise
KK
Snake
Moar laeter, pencil necks.-

^^ yeah yeah, this.
Baby, I was referring to that which you said in post 200.
Jediknight, is that a serious question? I've thrown out more people than minutes you've spent reading the game. I will grant you that there are other people doing even less than you. I have no problem with fast and furious. As to your last sentence, is that, perhaps, what you do best?
KK: I don't really understand why you think my action was SKish. If it ~killed~ them then I guess I could see. But for this situation I don't. I was so happy to see the flavor, too. I could close my eyes and see my dude smashing those two suckers down to the concrete. Doubtless my wrestler made some theatrical apology as JR said "well, it IS every man for himself."

Jason; I think I've been going at this fairly logically. It's not like I've just been voting for random dudes.
I disagree with Primate. As far as I'm concerned, we haven't broken into chaos or strayed from the original plan that much. It's not like it's too late to calm down and reevaluate, as y'all are doing right above me here.
being selfish, well, I guess. I'm all about having the belt, somewhat for bragging rights. However, also I'm in the "don't out the PRs" camp, so without taking roles into consideration, I do think I'm the best man for the job. I think the low life/controlled throwouts is themost boringsafest way to go.
As for that cowardly remark earlier, hey, I knew I would draw attention by knocking dudes out - I think there are far more cowardly ways to do this.
I'd continue to stack votes on Trendal and Vasu. Let me have my last two votes tomorrow morning if nothing else.-

I have had a busy weekend myself.
A brief read since the rumble has given me a couple talking points:
I don't really dig the idea that voting someone because they are an "easy target" is a strong scumtell. I think people are usually easy targets when they make themselves that way through scummy or anti-town behavior.
Primates love-post about IS leaves me scratching my head. Ok, I don't know the meta but...really? Has he played so well here that he's above suspicion? That doesn't even make sense.
Chesskid, well, there's always a chesskid, isn't there? On some level, I wish I could play the game that way. Personally, I'm all for getting rid of them first, but I know that's not always the best thing to do.
So let's go with:
dropkick: Primatefor slurping all over IS so hard.-

Weeeheellllll...
I don't get a huge scumvibe from hoppster, as some seem to. Nor do i get one from thor. I think promoting conversation is good.
IS continues to grate on me. I find myself agreeing with nero about the manipulation in IS posts.
Thor, why does hoppsters playrecord give him an alibi in your opinion?
Bri, seems like theres more to comment on here than just a swing-in vote. You reading?
Baby, why did you self vote in the rumble if you think self voting is suspicious?
Vp, did jason's answer satisfy you?-

Sorry guys and gals, i know ive been slacking. It's been a nuts week, again.
Trendal's interpretation of why i was voting for him is correct. ive still got a neutral read on him. I think his posts have been strange and mildly scummy, but i can see town saying the same things. Since he doesnt seem interested or capable of really getting into issues other than those that involve himself, i dont think hed be a bad lynch. If today ends with him swinging, thats fine.
However, before anyone swings, i think we should put pressure on bella. So, if you will please join me;
release trendall
Arm bar: bella
Post or die.-

Baby: what fence am i sitting on? Why is it ok to pressure trendal but not bella? Redirect what, exactly?
Sotty: please iso bella and then myself, and tell me if you still want to call this a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
Gman: do you really see no point to sueezing something out of bella before a night? We have 6 days until the deadlime. Is that really too close for comfort?-

Vp: i didnt intend to continue pushing the bella wagon, i was just trying to respond to the questions about my previous post.
Ddd et all: i dont agree that 6 days is a short time. I didnt see anything wrong with trying to get something out of bella before finishing trendal off.
Baby; i think i was clear about trendal. My origional vote was for pressure. I dont think he has crackd to reveal a scummy center under that pressure, but he hasnt tried to play the game either. So im happy to lynch the non entity. But before we do that, theres still a big question mark in bella. Why cant we force her to do something just like we did with trendal?
Even if you think trendal is 100 percent scum, why wouldnt you want to put pressure on the worst poster in the game? How is that a waste of time?
sotty: but at least you have changed your tone to no longer imply we have given equal contribution to the game. Ive got a few thoughts on the two wagons, but let me compose myself first.
Im glad she asked for replacement and ill vote somewhere else later today.-

Thor; God your post made me angry. How is trying to compose myself and contribute in an effective way bad play? Would you prefer that I post like chesskid: cluttering up the game with random meaningless garbage posts?
I'm assuming that you people mean that ANY votes on someone constitutes a wagon. HEre you go:
Trendall - not present. Could be lynched for the benefit of the game. No clue if he is town or not.
Thor665 - accused of encouraging discussion and voted by a person who give me a bad vibe (IS). I have no interest in seeing him lynched.
Scott Brosius - not super vocal but not ignoring the game either. The following of the trendall wagon because his own pet wagon "is not going to take off today" is slightly anti-town. I won't cry blood if he's lynched, and I'd hammer to prevent no-lynch, but I'm meh.
GMan - He flip-flopped on the Trendal wagon (see ISO 15 and 17) and I don't see any clear accusations about the "other people I'd like lynched." GMan, care to elaborate?
Internet Stranger - apparently IS has some super-meta that let's him post pointed accusations purely based on gut without reprisal or challenge. Fine, who...
Gobots is in the middle of talking smack about Internet Stranger when he is poleaxed by a running big boot to the face!Last edited by Locke Lamora on Sun Mar 06, 2011 11:20 am, edited 1 time in total.-

Repeated text that will soon be deleted:

Internet Stranger - apparently IS has some super-meta that let's him post pointed accusations purely based on gut without reprisal or challenge. Fine, who am I to argue?
Baby Spice - Still not really paying attention as far as I can tell. Seems to willfully misread things. Irritating, but again seems meta-laden so whatever.
Furcolow - just posted a lot of hate my way. Why can't you stand reading my posts? Are you saying that Bella was/is not the worst poster in the game? Please support your answer."
Scott: You didn't tell us who you would rather have lynched, I wanted to see what you had to say. You just wishy-washed. You started to take a stand then caved. And I still don't agree that 6 DAYS is too short a time to look at different ideas!-

Gman: Sorry, that last part of 1027 is obviously a bit muddled. GMan is the one who still needs to talk about his other lynch preferences. Scott, though, the rest still applies to you. I see your point about helping the majority achieve it's goals, but I'd prefer to see adherence to your own beliefs.
Thor; I'm sorry for missquoting you. I meant to convey "anti-town or scummy" instead of "bad play." I try to be chillax but then I pop. It's a good summation of my personality today. I get what you are saying about planning = planning to hide. But I just wanted time to put my thoughts into some sense of coherence. Re Buddying: Again, I see where you are going. However, I spoke against your wagon before you said anything against me. I speak against it again now for the reasons I stated.
someone post.-

Maybe I'm just out of sync with the rest of you, but to me 6 more days is enough to "do" other things before settling on a lynch. Can bella, now bella's slot, really get away with posting nothing for the entire day and go into a night?0 Couldn't the pressure votes go, at least temporarily, to Bella to make it say something before the end of day 1? Maybe it is too late now, since replacements take a while. I could buy that. But I still stand by my original idea of pressuring her. Does the fact that she was unwilling to sayanythingbefore asking for a replacement strike anyone else as scummy?-

Jason,
You said that we should excuse Bella because she is quiet in a lot of games lately. She did indicate that the reason she wanted replacing is that she finds it difficult to keep up with her other games because of the size and rules of this one. I don't think she's lying about that. I believer her reason for wanting to be replaced. However, my point is that a town-sided player would makesomeeffort to participate before bowing out while a scum-sided player would try to duck out as silently as possible. Don't you agree with that?
You said that I was asking if anyone else finds it scummy. I said "else" because I wanted to show that I, personally found it scummy. I am sure, for me, that it is scummy, and I believe I said so quite clearly.
You said that I am not voting for her. However, I am voting for her, and have been, since I started talking about her.-

Hi. The last 5 pages were kind of a blur, but here is what I have (at least 2 posts):
Speculation
Certainly, at least one kill was prevented last night.
Character names were independent of alignment in the last WWF game. Perhaps that is not the case in this one. Otherwise, why hometown cop?
I’m torn on DDD name-claiming. I don’t actually see the benefit of a DDD name claim, but if that’s true; again, WHY a hometown cop?
For now, I believe…
…neither Kise nor Vez are gambitting on day 2.
…DDD thinks he’s doing right by not claiming.
… I’m strangely OK with IS. I’m really getting VI vibes from him. I know he’s back peddled, and contradicted himself, but I’m not reading it as scum.
Funny “Quotes”
Vezo: “Jesse Ventura is an actor, not a wrestler.”
Scott: “I fail to see how my reads are original.”
Furc: “Don’t missrep my playstyle!”
Bristep: “ I’m going to go with chesskids gut.”

Leads
Primate: Still slobbering all over IS. At one point said, “I don’t know the flavor, here’s all me flavor speculation, but I don’t know the flavor.”
Bristep played the Newb card.
Furcolow gives me bad vibes! One post stands out as particularly ridiculous to me, though. Look at 1387 in regards to Kise.
Gman 1341 said (to paraphrase) “ It wasn’t OMGUS, I was just voting him because he was voting for me!“ I don’t agree with VP about this one; I think this is scum wriggling.
Hoppster is still talking about day 1.
Baby doesn’t think the hammer was scummy.
Some players do seem to come out very soon after being called out…and one of them denied lurking.
Shoutouts and Questions
VP, I know you were asking KK, but I wanna share that I was a dayvig once, it was everything I’d ever dreamed it could be.
Primate, You said something about a role that could only target males. What did you mean by that?
Kise, do you still think IS targeted you?
Oh meta gods, please tell unto me the answer to this question: Who would target Kise?
Someone post!-

Vasu, 1479, Are you saying that you think Gman is not contributing as much as he could be? Do you mean that you think he is somehow holding back?
Bristep, RE: 1480, Don't think we didn't notice what a helpful little townie you were in this post.
Nero, RE: 1484 I think you're reaching.
Emp, Why do you think it is strange that sotty has been on the two biggest wagons rather than the smaller ones?
Vezo, That was a very cautious vote move you did there. Why so tender about it?
Hoppster: Because there were more interesting, current, things to talk about at that moment.
About Gman: I'm suspicious of the "MY META'S LIKE THIS" defense. I think the "I'm not OMGUSING YOUR OMGUSING" is also suspicious. I'd need to see more from him before I'd move my vote.
About Kise: I was pondering the innateness of his power, too. It's vague, yes. I'm kinda with DDD though. At least we know ~something~ happened there. If Kise wants to clarify...ok.
I guess I need to reread the EA/AV/EVOO dabacle.
I will ISO Jedi and Furc
I probably will not reread the NC/IS tunneling.

A prod? Jesus, can't a guy fall asleep for a day and a half without people jumping all over him?
No, seriously, sorry again. I have been reading but my term just ended and I haven't found the few minutes to say anything worth while.
Empking is looking scummier day by day.
Even though Gman's input has improved a bit, I still prefer Gman over IS.
Furc and Bri are next.
Gman's at -2? Can we get a claim? (assuming IS will hammer without waiting).-

I suppose Gman is verifiable based on hometown cop? maybe? kinda? I second the flavor question.
At any rate; it looks like he's trying to play the game for the moment soooo I'm gunna move my vote.
I still don't feel IS, but I will wagon him Wednesday if this...

If jedi comes back saying he blocked you im reeeaaalllyyyy gunna vote you hard. Maybe its because we havent played together in like forever but im getting this strange vibe coming in. Gut mostly but meh.
You are right that there are many possibilities, but i think its very likely that jedi prevented a kill, given the number of known roleblockers, the number of kills, and the relationship between furcs targetability, his softclaim, and gman's (i believe truthful) claim that he targeted furc.
Jedi has already stated that he will tell us after a while, so i dont think what im askin for is that out of this world.-

I'm assuming emp RBd a kill night 1, when he was bella. I'm assuming that because I would have expected more than one kill in a large. Night 2 we had a new roleblocker (2 known roleblockers then) in JK. One roleblocker is dead, and only one kill again makes me think that JK targeted a killing role. It's the simplest explanation for why we only had 1 kill last night.
What is a hider?-
