He's more than his role. He's a giant VI. And if he's town and is going to use his ability (if he doesn't then he's effectively a vanilla VI), he should use it early. Even if he hits two scum and turns them into goons, doing it right before the end isn't going to do us nearly as much good as doing it early. Plus, then he'd be posting until then and that would be terrible.

Yes, the two different heads have two different opinions. I've managed to rally shotty over to the not stupid side though, so it's under control.

- He's hopping on chess' wagon because chess is anti-town.
- He's calling for a policy lynch on chess long after he's been cleared by Nik.

At the time I said that, I hadn't yet read up to the part where Nik cleared chess. That's what happens when you get behind, you say stupid shit you later regret. Although there is a tiny part of me that's still convinced chess is scum. I have a theory that Nik could be scum from the opposing faction of chess, claiming an innocent for town cred. But...... that's just my little paranoid theory, and as long as chess agrees to suicide when we tell him to, I'm fine with keeping him alive.

Anti-town players don't get lynched on D1. They get vigged or are looked into later. And it's even easier with chess. If at some point someone gets vanillaized and chess is still alive, we'll lynch his sorry ass. If you think that our mods are so incompetent as to have not provided the scum with fake role PMs when at the same time they allow role PM quoting, then you should probably not be playing in this game. I'll also mention the fact that using Nayru as a fakeclaim when you don't have a fake role PM to draw from is absolutely fucking insane, and I don't think that Le Cupcake has the balls for that.
That is why Ythan's case on Cupcake for "fabricating a role PM" is complete and utter garbage.
Now, personally I think that Nayru would not be contained to a scum's fakeclaim in this game. This game's flavour is about ridding the land of evil, and the goddesses are always involved in that feat, for as much as I understand LoZ. Therefore it makes the most sense to me for Nayru to be town. Does that not make sense to you people?

In addition, I think all verdants may share one trait, and it's making me doubt a certain persons breadcrumb/softclaim/claim. Have you ever played with shotty? If you haven't, you should take a look at one of his town games and see what I'm dealing with. Then look at one of his scum games and see the difference. I have FINALLY figured out how to read shotty. Hydraing with him has made it a little easier. The trick is to look at the effort he puts in. In his scum games, he'll post a bunch of one-liners that look like they say something, but really don't. In his town games, he does the same thing, but he'll have the occasional wall post too. And you can see that he puts effort into his scumhunting, even if his conclusions are retarded. He's scummy no matter what, and he doesn't contribute much no matter what. The difference is in the effort, whether it be wasted or not.

My point is, you can't put shotty up to the same standards as everyone else and expect to get a result other than scum. There are different signals.

GIS felt it necessary to only hint at the power role when it's a (nigh near) bulletproof role. Simply claiming (especially earlier in the game day) would've clearly been better.
GIS hasn't mentioned any questions they asked for clarification when there's a bit of ambiguity on a bit of that role PM. What do the mods define as "next to" when mentioning the playerlist? Numbered from all players or by those alive? What do the mods define as normal kills? Does the "you can only use one activity per phase" mean that using the active ability removes GIS' immunity to kills? (I'd like to point out that, if it doesn't, the inclusion of that in the PM to GIS is pointless, meaning we aren't getting GIS' full role PM, if that's the actual role PM at all)
