CSL, what makes you think that the RVS is over? Why do you have the authority to announce it officially over? Don't you think that the lines between RVS and D1 are too closely blurred for the RVS to be "clearly over" in a matter of three pages?
DGB, it seems you aren't voting right now... Why is that?
Hayl, it seems you forgot to count Zazie's last vote... or am I too used to conventional games, and people's abilities are messing it up?V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

Speculating about BM is useless. Cut it out unless you smell scum. It's better for all of us that way, believe me.
@Toogeloo: I hate running footwork for people, but here's a general case on NS.
Refusal to leave the RVS.
Surprised after being attacked for blatantly scummy behavior.
Asking idiotic questions...
...then expecting them to be answered.
And now that I've gone through all that trouble, I expect a vote for NS, a thank you, and actual participation in this game from now on.
Thank you.V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

Diginova and Adrien have both promised rereads. Depending on how soon this happens, one or both may be scum.
CSL is town.
If Toogeloo is scum, then DGB probably is too.
If NS is scum, Sharky probably is too.
Gut town read on TheLonging.
Gut scum read on Ani.
Will explain all of that tomorrow when I have more time.V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

Toogeloo is an interesting read for me. On one hand, I don't like the condensending attitude that he seems to have in a lot his points, and I certainly don't like how he said he didn't understand the NS case and promptly called it crap, But his vote on Chronopie is a good one (especially since all Chrono could do in response was rolefish). Overall, I'm leaning town.
CSL is town because I've never seen his play this protown, and I really don't like Adrien + NS's recent votehop onto him.
Adrien's catchup post provides an OK point, just not one I find myself agreeing with. Don't like how he decided to comment on a minimum amount of subject matter, though. Don't like the "This vote is subject to change, but I think this is the way to go. CSL could change my mind with a nice explanation, but this is where it's staying for now.", either.
NS's play hasn't changed much, it's just continued mostly the same way. He's starting to look like vigbait to me.
Sharky is his scumbuddies with him because of the small episode of blatantly tunneling, then completely backing off and whispering suspicion of Chrono.

Waiting for Zazie, Alamaster, diginova, GhostWriter, MPR, Stabuck, and Mae to start posting. We have plenty of lurkers, it seems >.>

BM, mind giving other reasons for that vote? I don't really like meta based off of one newbie game, and there is enough on NS at this point where I'm sure you can come up with something more.
AdumbroDues is scum. I don't like how he lurked for such a long period of time, and then when he finally did decide to post, he posted about a neutral subject (his meta). A question for you: what would two scummy responses for your question asked at the bottom of post 339/340? Also, if questions are powerful, then why aren't you asking more of them?
TheLonging's past few posts have been terrible. =/. Useless and contentless comments are not what I like.
Zazie, I'm not claiming anything. If I wanted you to know who I was, I'd tell you.

As promised:
Chronopie - NOT TOWN
His most passionate posting takes place during a jester discussion. He jumped on the lynchwagon with an RVS reason when it was nowhere near deadline. The only comments he makes about the wagon he is a part of is "NS, claim" then calls him town after the hammer's been cast and comments that his role is similar to NS's, and tries to use that to gain townpoints here, even after he already brought up the possibility of scum having fakeclaims here. The fact that he is more concerned with defending himself than actually finding scum doesn't help his case either. On top of that, the only resemblence of scumhunting he's done this whole game is asking MPR who the scum were when he hadn't even commented on that himself... So, my hunt for townies continues.
Sharkfinn - NOT TOWN
After a cursory ISO read, I see why Zazie is so suspicious of him >.>. He waffles on NS, flip flops on DGB, makes a weird FoS/prod on Chrono, waffles on a claimed jester, and promises to reread and never delivers.
The waffling, combined with ISO 5 is supicious because it shows a scumShark keeping his options open by not announcing any strong scum/town reads, and it also shows a reluctance to get himself involved in any polarizing issues. The flip-flopping on DGB is suspicious especially with NS's town flip. He originally calls DGB scum, then, without any explanation or significant change in DGB's behavior, he declares her psuedo-confirmed town and himself willing to follow her wherever she might go because "she's been protown and because she's in heaven". This is doubly suspicious based on the status of the NS wagon, which had been gaining a considerable amount of momentum at this time. I will add that his sudden town read seems to be due to the fact that she was in heaven, but I don't see why anyone in their right minds would distrust their own scum reads due to OP flavor... I find the Chrono FoS/Prod scummy because it seems to be suggesting that a scumbuddy post more while distancing just a tiny bit. This is because he didn't put a vote down even though he supposedly just got done rereading, and because he was quick to discount his own case on Chrono with the "I know this is blatant hypocrisy, but" comment. The waffling about Ani is horrible, honestly. He needs a reread to figure out that lynching a jester is bad because lynching one is essentially no lynching on day one and thus doesn't advance the town wincon at all? I'm not buying it at all.
The reread promises are really what I think dooms Sharky the most, though. Let's look at all the times he's read the game:Re-reading made me begin to rethink my previous suspicions.Okay, so I've re-read this game for info on the levels
Alright, so if he's telling the truth, then he's reread the game three times in his 18 posts. And still he can't remember who he's voting for. And still he can't even remember whether DGB is a guy or a girl. And his reasons for voting his #1 suspect are:I'll do a readthrough on a player tonight.UNVOTE:mainly, because I trust DGB for the reasons below.
VOTE: Nobody's Special
>.>Vote: SharkFinn
TOMORROW: AlmasterGM, Midnight's Sorrow, MehPlusRawr, AdumbroDeus
Nikanor calling DGB out for lurking is odd, considering what slot he's coming from.
PREVIEW EDIT: Oooh, Sharky's posting. I'll look at that now, I suppose.Last edited by Haylen on Mon Jul 26, 2010 2:43 am, edited 1 time in total.V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

@Shark: The problem is that you've reread the game twice already, and you still have absolutely nothing new to contribute to it. That being said, I think the majority of your response to Zazie was protown. I'll let Zazie respond first before explaining further.
@Chrono: You'd probably redeem yourself more in my eyes if you actually refuted the case instead of just pointing at it and saying it's wrong...V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

Could you reword the bolded? I'm not really understanding what you're trying to say there.Toogeloo wrote:Saying a lynch is difficult to pass however is scum because an easier lynch is town, that's a slippery slope. It may be possible some town don't see a person as scummy in the same way, or that scum is buddying up, or defending town. Just because it's easier to lynch a townie on the first couple days, doesn't mean it's harder to lynch scum, it's just less likely since they are informed and manipulative.V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

Alamaster GM - NOT TOWN
I'm having a hard time reading him.
His pattern of play is certainly scummy; he active lurks for a while, posts something decent, then goes back to active lurking again. His position on Maemuki is also suspicious, since her lack of pretty much any posting whatsoever made her a pretty easy target to take potshots at. He also pulled the "ALL MAJOR BANDWGONS ARE TOWN" trick in ISO 9 that makes me cringe, and then votes for NS later during the whole jester business. Meta from Trader Mafia also shows a considerably more protown Alamaster...
Midnight's Sorrow - NULL
MS's alignment will be discovered by wagon analysis and interactions with other people because he is freaking impossible to read.V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

MPR - TOWN
I like his earlier vote on Starbuck, and his vote on Shark. His NS vote was reasonably more justified then some other fellow wagoners as well...
Yes, he's still been chronic lurking, not making a whole lot of sense, generally being useless, and trying to clear himself by describing his own scum meta... but this is an improvement from the MPR I know...V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

AdumbroDeus - NOT TOWN
The link to Smash Boards is useless for those of us who don't play on Smash Boards, by the way. Could you at least give me the titles of some of the games you've been in?
AdumbroDues missed the entire NS wagon, essentially; the only comment he actually provided was "NS is obvscum" and he decided to happily hop on the bandwagon with an utter lack of an explanation. This is after he's been pushing Togeloo the entire game day (he even pushes Toogeloo in his NS voting post), and after it was apparent the NS wagon was most likely going to be the lynch. He's also guilty of a bit of IIoA/fluff posting, I see.V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

Yeah, but it unsettles me that the CSL wagoners posted a little more than twice as much as the DGB wagoners in between Haylen's last two votecounts.
Plus DGB is town with abilities that would kind of suck to do without...
Gah, who to wagon, who to wagon? I wouldn't mind an MS wagon, but I'd like an AdumbroDues wagon, a you wagon, or a Sharky wagon a hell of a lot more. You know, I should do some ISOing tomorrow...V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

#964 suggests that everyone should have the above in their next posts. Stabuck, you said you submitted DGB's name under an ability to find out her powers.
This sounds like rolecop, no?
And... you said that you came up with nothing, even though DGB claimed Tech Tree Santa Claus.
Meaning that DGB is lying, meaning that the claim was fake, meaning that she's guilty.
Right?
So, your claim versus DGB's claim is equivalent to a cop with a claimed guilty. And if not, then why did you claim?V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

Oh dear.
Imitate is an ability that only allows you to learnLevel Oneabilities; in other words, abilities that are from the first level of the Tech tree. What DGB claimed to have was a natural/factional ability which wouldn't be affected by Imitate.
If Hayl doesn't get in here soon and grant us that deadline extension, I'll switch my vote to DGB since it's the only vote I can get.V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

Nik is definitely town because Alamaster parked his vote on then lurker-Maemuki all day D1 until the votehop to NS.
DGB is also town because of Alamaster's hesitation to switch over to the MS wagon. No partner of DGBscum would bus until necessary.

There's your votecount.
I don't like Shark's recent flipflopping on CSL. First, he calls him town for most of the day yesterday. Then, when the MS wagon begins to form, he calls CSL scum with MS. Today, he's voting CSL without a though, even though the person he said CSL was scum with flipped town. His behavior today also completely contridicts all of his "I'm a passive person", and it certainly contridicts his self-described playstyle (found in ISO #9).
We need to slow down a bit. There's more to get out of this day than just a CSL lynch.V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-

God damn it.
I just remembered that Chrono is a doublevoter, which means that Shark's vote for Zazie was the hammer, meaning that this is twilight. If Chrono forgot, then DGB, I need you to unvote as soon as you see this. I mean, don't you feel just a little bit POWERLESS since you aren't in Heaven? And don't you think Zazie targeting you could've been an effort to bring you back up to the top, and give you some goodies? I mean, everyone knows that you cannot choose anybody in Heaven to receive the goodies because people in heaven have no use for them, but you got moved down to Earth, so doesn't that change things a bit? Zazie is town. So I decree. I may not be 100% positive on this, but I'm pretty damn sure about it.V/LA at the weekend, except for modding duties.-
