Players generally lean in on other players due to familiarity, and can/will reference them more because either they can read them better, or they benefit from having a similar mindset to bounce ideas off of, or other countless reasons.
Knowing which ties lay where is a good key to help establishing each players' mindset.
CASE IN POINT: THAT SILLY CRAP ABOUT CLAIMED SCUMBUDDIES AND THE AWESOME DISCUSSION AROUND IT.
And some people wonder why stuff like that doesn't get commented on.Aut Tace Aut Meliora Loquere Silentio.-

Either its a massive scum driven tactic pushing for one other the other.
Or both are scum and faking drama to cause confusion and chaos.
Or neither are scum.
All I know is if either of them actually replace out of the game, those that pushed them based on reasons they specifically said not to, I will go on a warpath towards those that caused such.
See SIR CYANIDE's topic about being scum trying to force a modkill.Aut Tace Aut Meliora Loquere Silentio.-

That is a bit of a false dilemma.Steam-Powered Shovel wrote:If you're playing in a way you would not describe as pro-town, you're doing something wrong.

Oh don't be so lame. If someone else holds it then he's caught in a lie that no amount of crazy role shenanigans can explain away.Steam-Powered Shovel wrote:Papa Zito, no Silmaril-fishing. If he does hold the Silmaril, then he could still easily be scum.
You too SocioPath.
A. He does have it, no one CCs, random person on lynch gets THE Silmaril.
B. He doesn't have it, someone CCs AND SIGNS THEIR OWN DEATH WARRENT, because FFFF will still get lynched, and the CCer is now NKbait, unless THEY are then lynched just to randomize THE SIlmaril again.
C. He doesn't have it, no one CCS, HE STILL GETS LYNCHED.
So if that is LAME to you, Zito, than so be it.
What is lame is, 'oh, I am only 95% sure that FFFF is scum, but I would like to bump that up to 99% while painting a target onto someone else's head.'Aut Tace Aut Meliora Loquere Silentio.-

Oh shit I forgot this is a large theme. Sane cops always claim on D2 when they have a guilty verdict, because there are always protective roles in large themes. Dammit. Doubt it because of the destroy mechanic. Pretty sure that they are in limbo until we decide on what to do with their bodies.SpyreX wrote:We need to decide on a single one to revive I think. I'm not sure if that means the other three become the dead dead or not though.

This, this is what makes it aaaaall bullshit.Iecerint wrote:Also, I don't think I knew SP was V/LA at the time I made the RVS "case" on him, so that's another reason why the analogy is kinda tenuous.
And why I pushed your case in that game to begin with.
This gem is what makes it all worth while.
That was a different game we were both in.
The only difference is, both games are completed now.
I couldn't cite the bullshit "RVS" case with specific sources at the time, as the other game was still on going.
Fact is, you made a bullshit "RVS" case, and stuck with it, all while continually harping in that I am an inactive player.
You KNEW I was gone, and yet pushed on such.
And you were scum.
You are doing the exact same thing here, ergo, you are scum.Aut Tace Aut Meliora Loquere Silentio.-

I certainly haven't been 'twirling around'.SpyreX wrote:We could go back to twirling around if you'd prefer I'm cool with that?
Maybe in your eyes because you completely disregard anything meta.
But this isn't even random meta pulled from an past game.
This is meta that IEC AS SCUM has USED AGAINST ME.
He said in one game 'Oh SP hasn't posted in 9 days, he is obviously gone.'
And in the other game 'Oh 2 days late to confirm, not even a weekend holiday, reasonable pre-game scumtell.' THEN CLAIMS IGNORANT TO ME BEING GONE.
AND I SEE HIM PULLING THE SAME STUNTS ON XVART.
IEC AS SCUM BLATANTLY MISREPRESENTS META ON PEOPLE FOR PERSONAL GAIN.
YES THIS IS A META ARGUMENT ABOUT META.
DEAL WITH IT.

And I still stand by everything I said.Steam-Powered Shovel wrote:
I just ISOed you and all I can find is this exchange:SocioPath wrote:I've stated my reasons, and they are still valid.
Shovel: Early-game bandwagonning is pro-town, certainly in big games.
Path: Calling your own actions pro-town is never pro-town.
Shovel: If you're playing in a way you would not describe as pro-town, you're doing something wrong.
Path: That is a bit of a false dilemma. Every action a person takes could be described as pro-town, if the end result is helping them catching scum. Vote: Shovel
Shovel: SocioPath, I'm not sure what you're trying to say.
Path: The Ends Justify The Means.
Then I seem to have forgotten about it, which is a shame, since it just boils down to a specious reading of one of my statements. You suggest that I consider actions which don't immediately benefit the town as not pro-town even though nothing in my post suggests that. My statement is not in any way inconsistent with "the end justifies the means". In fact, the opposite is true since bandwagonning is all about the end justifying the means.
If you have other reasons for suspecting me, then you haven't mentioned them.
Generally thats all it takes.Steam-Powered Shovel wrote:since it just boils down to a specious reading of one of my statements.
