Hmm. "scumbuddy" referred to the fact that Cobalt and me were scumbuddies in Precision Mafia that just finished.
I feel a bit strange about how people voted for me, people have voted for people that voted for me, but almost none has asked me to just explain myself...

So, someone called me scum for a non-random reason, and then once the bandwagon started, you jump in it with a joke post? Me dislikes that.I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-

Comments :
- I don't get Drippereth behavior _at all_. Hydra schyzophrenia is nice, but how can (s)he at the same time say i'm scum with quite certainty and i'm scum with xvart (iso 5) but that Starbuck is my scumbuddy (iso 6). Could you explain your reasoning?
- @Ooba: Nice way to enter in the game by voting for the largest wagon. Would you care to say a bit more?
- From the people on my wagon, Anon looked like the most opportunistic, followed closely by Drippereth. Xvart is using bad logic and wrong analogies in most of his posts, but i'm not sure if it is town bad logic or scum one.I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-

Catchup post incoming ...
-------------------------------------------
81: Wtf? I just don't understand the reasoning in this post at all.
92: Wtf(2)? You mean you want to lynch people that don't fit your playstyle instead of scums?
101: I like that post.
102 is xvart twisting other players words. Bad.
116 : Why is Drippereth only using one-liners when saying "X is scum" or "Y is town". This feels completely unproductive to me. Is it her usual playstyle?
120 : Drippereth is again completely confusing me. (S)he called Starbuck scum for defending me, and now is calling xvart scum for having attacked me.
145:@Anon:Yeah sure. Nice scumlist. Now, would you care to explain this list, plz?
I don't like Anon and Drippereth because they have been both attacking me and xvart, with very little reasoning. xvart looks stubborn-townie to me, and I liked your recent posts.SpyreX wrote:@El,
What with the copious amounts of information each person is giving on your wagon, how do you define those ones as more opportunistic?
155 : The infamous Jack comment. Yes, it's 100% dumb. Does that mean Jack is scum? I don't see any reason to see this comment had more odds to be posted by scum than by town.
178 : Is Cobalt always using one-liners to participate to the discussion, and is he used to never explain his vote? He did exactly that as scum in the game I was with him, so I would like to know if he also plays like that as town.
180 : :dumbposting: Is it so frequent on MS to claim being scum that such claims are taken seriously?
181 : cf 178. But yes, Cyberbob desserves a vote for his last post.
184 : /me bangs head on desk. Drippereth, could you please, for the sake of I don't know who, make posts of more than one line.
I felt Anon was opportunistic in joining my wagon, yes. I feel the same of Drippereth. And if i could have two votes, I would have one on both of them. I have a null-read on xvart, so let's say 25% odds of being scum (the usual rate of scum in a large game).curiouskarmadog wrote:Why are you attacking someone for joining a bandwagon. Why is it scummy Day 1? Why was it worth commenting on when so many have already joined the wagon (which I approve of fyi). Do you still like you Anon vote? Why? If you had to put a % on Xvart being town versus scum..what would it be?
205 : What's the case on Papa Zito. I just don't see it at all...
210 : Nice OMGUS.
Conclusions :
- Cyberbob, Anon and Drippereth are scummy.
- I would like Cobalt, Anon and Drippereth to explain their reasoning when voting (especially Anon, for his scumlist of post 145)I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-

@Icerint : No. I don't suspect strongly xvart because I've seen this kind of behavior (starting an over-zealous wagon at beginning of day 1) independently of alignment.
@SpyreX : I really disliked that Anon made a joke in his post, and voted for me. Drippereth voting me, then xvart also raised my eyebrows.I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-

Well, this doesn't justify your 6-man scumlist that you just posted. Did you add more names just to look more scumhunting? I understand how it felt necessary as you never contributed anything else than votes.Anon wrote:
Sure thing boss.Elscouta wrote: 145: @Anon: Yeah sure. Nice scumlist. Now, would you care to explain this list, plz?
Xvart: fake scumhunting. The fos:drippereth in iso 1 felt forced and even more the vote on iso 5 that came from nowhere. Do you know why xvart is voting for Dripereth, Elscouta? Posterior fluff is just noise.
Elscouta: saying hi to your scumbuddy gives you just enough points for your slow and painful death. I dont see why would a townie joke with that considering the posterior mess it could create. But lets assume for a second you are just silly and thought it was cool enough to "claim" scum in your first post, just for the lulz. Lets assume you are a decent scumhunter and that you are not going to OMGUS people that are/were voting you for a VALID REASON....
Anon pattern of voting :Anon wrote:Interesting question: why was xvart vote okay with you, Elscouta? Why is anon and dripereth oh so oportunistic, but he isnt?
- OMG Elscouta has claimed scum. He must be scum. Vote : Elscouta
<Elscouta explains himself, wagon loses steam>
- OMG Xvart has attacked Elscouta for having claimed scum. Vote : xvart
Yeah, the only term i can find for that is "opportunistic".
Can we lynch Anon now?I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-

xofelf and SensFan issue seems to be more of a distraction than a scum tell. I understand people that called xofelf instead of both, because SensFan posts looked trying to defuse the situation.
I have bad vibes on lecerint. Secret towntell? What's the point of announing it? Just to show that you are town/scumhunting?
I still dislike most posts of Drippereth. 352 especially.
Anon turned lurking. That's making me very unhappy. I might be forced to move my vote to someone else though, as the deadline is nearing, but i'm not fond of the current propositions.

I don't see why announcing "secret town read" would change other people mind. I don't think you should have announced it at all, or as "his last post made me change opinion on him".Iecerint wrote:Point of announcing it is that I had thought that Jack was scum, and now I think he is town. Also, other people (SX) think Jack is scum for similar reasons, so giving that information may help them evaluate his behavior. In other words, the point of announcing it is not different from the point of announcing any other read-related information.
How do you think I should have dealt with that issue?
Also, why do you feel a scum would be more likely to say "nice try" to Jack, than a townie?I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-

You aren't interested on the fact that two players are claiming that the other is lying on concrete facts?Jack wrote:I checked one of xvart's other games (over) but got bored partway through reading his ISO which I'll take as a sign that I should be paying attention to someone else.
I'm getting a good feeling about Elscouta as scum.unvote, vote:Elscouta
Don't feel like talking about everything from his ISO, but the silly fakey reasoning for having "bad vibes" about Iec and that last post which sounds more like scum smelling blood than an interested townie. Before he dismissed xolf/sens as a distraction btw.I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-
Is this the first time you've heard him claim she was lying? I think it was first brought up last week sometime, so how did you miss it before?
Misrepresenting subjective things (meta...) is very different from lying on concrete things. It is possible that two town players have different views on a subjective fact. Lying is quite different.
I don't buy xofelf last post, especially the "oh, it was game that almost had finished [in last October probably], but i can't link to them because well, let's move on, ok?"I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-

Am I the only one who thought by reading Drippereth post #569-571:
"ok, i succeeded in launching a wagon on xofelf. It is running full steam, so with the deadline nearing, she will probably be lynched. Now, I can just hop out of the wagon to get town points. Also, I shouldn't explain why xofelf is town, so that I don't run the risk of the wagon losing steam".I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-

I call this the last opportunistic move of Drippereth, that always moved with the flow of the town, and never granted serious reasoning.Nachomamma8 wrote:

How would it help? He claimed he didn't target farside. No more information is needed.FeFiFoFum wrote:WTF Els?
How would J-Scope claiming not help this situation.. ?
I was reading the wikipedia page of Beleg. I don't see any mention of the silmaril there, and I don't remember anything about the event you are quoting. Could you give a link? You never responded to my find of the Silmaril.

Oh yes. It's so more scummy to try to lynch someone that admitted to lie THREE times instead of just pointing fingers everywhere to confuse the town.
Maybe it's time to stop second guessing everything and taking things to face value.
early "guilty" claim = lynch the target
obvious pile lie = lynch.
The fact that Drippereth is scum trying to capitalize on the situation makes me think there is a possibility that FFFF is town though. I won't take any chance though.I'm town. Please lynch someone else.-

1) It was very clear from FFFF that he claimed either a tracker / role cop ability. There was no reason to ask him more. Standard procedure is : lynch target, lynch FFFF if target town afterwards.
2) People that doubted FFFF before ooba counterclaim are most likely to be scum knowing that J-Scope is town (town would have had no reason to doubt FFFF)
3) Let's do each thing at a time. First, let's lynch the liar, then i hope to get enough support to lynch Drippscum. It seems like unlikely though.
Well, it's usually a fact that people having being caught in a lie, backtracked two times, and just messing around now are town. But nice misrepresentation of my point.Yes because as we all know all mafia players tell the truth all the time!!
So if i'm trying to lynch anyone, you believe i'm a SK, right? Unless you also believe that FFFF is town? When your play today is looked at as a whole it just becomes incredibly obvious that you are trying to get someone - anyone - lynched as quickly as possible.I'm town. Please lynch someone else.
