I think this is probably correct, I don't find it scummy though.Cobalt wrote: Seems like something scum would say to discredit town. I don't think DGB forgot the teams were small, but wanted to make a point against TM.

Farside's 172 makes me twitch. Scum, probably. Says seacore repeated stuff in 154, which is ironic since she's doing mostly the same here and what 'new stuff' is being brought isn't terribly good.
Seacore - 5 - Pomegranate, elvis_knits, devotress, TonyMontana, Farside22 - (L-7)
^Town read on Seacore + Don't particularly like any of these, (TonyMontana probably looks the best) = bad wagon.
Devotress, Pom and Farside looks scummy while elvis doesn't look town, which is unusual as she's usually a beaming signal of townieness.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

Erm, you're a lurker who's posting elsewhere. How is that NOT a logical reason to vote someone?
Faraday: Lets vote the lurker when so much is going on just niggles at me. I understand I'm posting elsewhere but really going for a lurker and not responding to the game as a whole is an opportunist vote with no logic or reasoning IE I see scum motive in that vote.

lol @ bolded. i'd ask you for some sort of proof of this but we both know it's a waste of time as you'd have none.
'None of what Plum said about townies even registers in your brain' is invalidated by the fact there's 2 scum-groups, try again. Also that's pretty blatantly false anyway. It registered but I felt it was more important to lynch her scum-buddy, most of the other things could wait.DrippingGoofball wrote:

It's good you don't expect it as I really had no intention of doing it any time soon. Also, I don't expect you to "compare this to the way Plum mentions a whole bunch of other players. I want to see a comparative analysis. And I want to have an explanation as to how what Plum wrote about any given player reflects on that player's alignment" as I have asked you to do. You can't do it, because it will totally expose how phonily psychic, and ultimately scummy, your statement about Plum being linked to BloodCovenent is.
I'll give you a quick LIST though, which is almost as good.

What players care about splitting scum factions, and making theories are scum factions? I say that having been scum in games with multiple scum factions. It's the scum. The town has difficulty enough separating the townies, lurkers, village idiots, from the scum, they don't care about the color of the scumbag they string up.
Scumz, on the other hand, are always exquisitely aware of competing factions. They fear the NK, and they hope to cross-kill. It's good the the town, because it forces them to actively scum hunt during the day. Also, we have the bonus scumtell of scumz obsessing over their competitors.

this is all pretty horrible.Fishythefish wrote: DGB’s 858 is an awesome tour de force of scumhunting. I doubt it’s actually right, but it’s produced good results. Faraday’s reply seems to be more picking at words than addressing the case itself: he makes an irrelevant point about the second scumgroup, and attacks old opinions of DGB’s. Neither of these is relevant here. He also claims that other things in Plum’s post did register – this is a non-argument, as the point being made is that they didn’t register originally – you can’t correct a scummy action after you’ve been called on it. Faraday’s response, rather than the initial case, makes me think him scum. If he’d said “that’s a pretty terrible, reaching, overelaborate scumtell”, I’d have some sympathy, but trying to pick at the factual accuracy of DGB’s idea stinks.
the second scum group point was very relevant. i was accused of glossing over townies, but even if someone is scum they don't know someone is town this game.
i was fucking asked what else registered, i wasn't trying to correct anything. i was looking for what stood out originally and ya know what might lead to plum's buddies. i wasn't trying to correct a scummy action b/c what i did wasn't scummy.
picking @ the factual accuracy was inherently more fun actually, glad i did it.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

SUPER DOC
I picked doc as I figured 1) No one above would pick it and 2) Most people hate it so it'd be unlikely to be picked.
At least I stopped Xyl being killed...owait. ;D
Town played very well and scum got steamrolled through some bad luck and good play.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

Man I loved the set-up as it was, there's not a whole lot needs changing really.SpyreX wrote:
Future?
In the near future I am thinking about running this again (17 town - 5 mafia I think). That said:
- What roles would you like to see available?
- What roles should I nix?
- What overall should I change?
- What overall should I keep?
The next one I think I'm going to let the scum coordinate before the draft some. And, of course, I'm leaning on one big scumteam.
So, comments, concerns, questions, etc!
maybe change the roles up a bit, idk add in a regular bus driver? 1-shot dayvig? masonizer?
i liked most of the roles in it too, idk what you should leave out, I'll leave that up to you.
definitely one of my most enjoyable games on the site thus far though.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-
