Last night, I claimed(falsely) to have a Death Note to Misa, and told her to give me her name in order to avoid killing her. Misa then claimed she was Starbuck, before attempting to delete that post, but only succeeding in deleting the text, not the post itself or the name of the poster.

Last night, I told Misa that I had taken possession of a Death Note, and had a good idea who she was, but wanted confirmation before I used it.
"Starbuck" then posted something, but instantly deleted it. However, deleting a QuickTopic post only deletes the text, not the actual post, or the poster's name. Immediately after, "Misa" then posted one word: "dammit".

I can't imagine that with all this cloak and dagger stuff going on that someone would then POST "Dammit". Sure they might SAY "Dammit" and a bunch of other choice words but NOT POST IT.

Besides the QT (if it is the standard with which I am familiar) is NOT real time IM where such impulses are more likely to take place. I mean think about it; what's the point of posting "dammit"??

@all: the scumteam has been considerably weakened over the last 2 game Days. Motivation for me to put myself into a 1-1 situation is completely nonexistant, as I have drawn only slight suspicion over the course of the game, and it would lead directly to my death even if i got Xyl lynched first. On the other hand, motivation for Xyl to put himself into a 1-1 with a claimed cop, when the alternative is telling the town the name of at least one of his scumbuddies is CONSIDERABLY higher. Correct play for scum in Xyl's situation is to call me a liar. He will die and flip scum regardless, but at the same time he has the potential to take down a cop in the process AND doesn't have to throw a scumbuddy in the line of fire. If you look at the motivations which led to this situation being a 1-1, the choice is quite clear as to who stands to gain the most from lying.
