He (by his own admission) made up a story about how the shotgun shell was growing increasingly hot and potentially even threatened to kill him

The Cranston Wagon folded up like a cheap suit and the day ended in a no lynch

Lamont was miraculously saved by healer who visited him in the middle of the night. He then MENTIONED THE FACT THAT HE WAS HEALED IN THREAD and reminded the healer to not come out

Sigh. Rock's logic leaves me speechless at his complete ignorance of what's going on in the game.

Also, it's weird that zwet, in claiming to have a problem with my game summary, quoted my "lamont = scum" post rather than my actual summary post. It looks like what he actually objects to is my calling lamont scum, but is afraid to say it.

As problematic as Naomi's claim may be, why is she being wagoned when she's claimed power villa and hasn't been counter-claimed or peeked nor recanted her claim?

I'm also glad to see some people finally questioning Amished's claim. As loathe as I am to speculate on roles, a self-protecting doc seems so overpowered as to be implausible. I think Amished's claim is less believable than Naomi's. However, neither of them should be wagoned yet.

Of course I see this ending like weird claims usually do, with one or both of them living to LYLO and then saying "lulz, I was just kidding" and wondering why they have to be lynched.

Why in the world are people acting like Lamont still has the shotgun shell? Because he said so? If there was some sort of confirmation in thread (other than Lamont's word) the the shotgun shell still can be used, I apologize for missing it.

Good players DO provide a better defense though and it doesn't make sense that she wouldn't show townie by properly defending. I've seen scum act like this and until I see something better Set just looks like she is scum trying various psychological methods to weasel out of a vig kill.

The mod clearly stated that day-drop items have to be used that day.

The shotgun shell was a day-drop item that was not used the day it was found.

So of course, what we end up doing is devoting 85% of the discussion to who should be vigged.

Look, I hope the shotgun works and we get a dayvig.

However, why should our default assumption be that Lamont got a PM directly contradicting what the mod posted in thread?

My fear is that the dayvig won't work, then there's going to be fingerpointing at Nyx (he's obviously scum if the shotgun shell doesn't work, right?). Then, let's say for sake of argument that Staetel is in fact scum. Even though he wasn't vigged, Lamont and other scum will say "oh, we wanted Staetel dayvigged, we can't possibly be scum." So we'll again end up chasing our tails over a bunch of nonsense that Lamont made up.

Again, I hope that the dayvig works out. However, I can't believe that more townies aren't being a least a little skeptical about what's going on here.

Dev came about as close to quoting the Town role pm as he could without getting modkilled. Unless scum were given copies of it (and why the mod would do that rather than just quote the town role pm in the rules is beyond me) then he is town.

Among other things: sure, it was originally Amished who proposed the no MRB idea and it does sound suspicious, but you're supporting it. If we're going to vig someone over it, I'd rather have it be the one who hasn't shown a PR possibility.
