Finally done with my re-read. I see you guys have put UROE at lynch -2. I'm not understanding why everyone has left tubby alone though. Every post I read of his pinged the scumdar and just when I was thinking, wow, tubby scummy mcscummerson and then disappears, he shows up again and posts another bad post. I don't know how he managed to slip lurking *and* actively lurking past a group like this, but I don't like it.

wow, kevy- first off, I really don't like the "if x is scum then y must be scum" reasoning. You've contradicted yourself with your own statements.

We lynch URoE, and if he comes up scum, THEN we lynch DGB. The two are obviously aligned, whether it be scum or town.

I diddn't understand all the talk of massclaiming day 1 i thought that whole idea was scummy as shit, I don't understand the way everyone is playing this game. so i decided last nite to try to get on to xyl bot to try it out. Finally i got in and played a few games and after much screwin up i finally gott it.

well i am unable to clear dgb at this point.

i find it odd how she was so accepting of uroe clearing of her even though he was mostlikely the lynch for today.

I still feel just because she didn't do anything nite 0 doesn mean she diddn't do anything nite 1, that with the emidate hop right back onto me agian is uspicious at best.
plus i also feel her play hasn't been all that pro-town.

@kevy- that comment was directed at tubby after he spent much of day one barning DGB (basically setting her up to take the fall for his vote) and then turning on her. Then day 2 he started off with "time to lynch DGB" to which I said "we can't we have to lynch you".

@tubby- that was great. you followed up empty posting with an empty defense. You tried to do a post by post analysis but conveniently don't answer the one I posted on you.

@everyone- I don't consider my PBPA to be a defense of DGB. Its an attack on tubby because I'm pretty sure he's scum.

So there you go. What I would like is for you to take some time today/tonight and calmly respond to this entire post. I think the part you're missing is that I've never claimed that DGB is innocent or that I'm sure she's town. For all I know, the two of you are distancing. I'm not saying that anyone else in the game is anything. I'm saying you're scum. I've posted a case explaining why I believe you're scum. I'm asking you to defend yourself with content, not by trying to blow off the case.

So you're whole defense is "his case is crap"? As I explained before, I read everything in the thread. Nothing else struck me as scummy. You keep saying I have no case against you, but here are the scum tells I have seen you exhibit:

1. Active Lurking
2. Pushing responsibility for your actions on another player
3. OMGUS attacking that same player
4. Attempting to ignore/discredit a case made against you instead of explaining your actions/thoughts.

I personally didn't care about the discussions regarding mass claims, irc vs forum mafia, or changing playstyles as one moves from one to the other. They are non issues for me. I don't agree with mass claiming as it provides the scum with too much information and hands the scum our power roles. I don't generally metagame people, so their "normal" playstyle doesn't matter to me.

And actually, I have been to the Agora as well as Blossom, the Rock Hall, Public Square, Common Grounds, the Palace Theater, and several other places in Cuyahoga County. I assure you, that I'd still think you're scum if you were in Lorain County, Medina County, or Lake County. The fact that you even brought this up, makes your "defense" even more laughable.

@tan- it wasn't so much that people getting down on UROE for putting town in his claim was scummy, but to me it just screamed townie pulling out all the stops to save himself from lynch. In retrospect, yes, it could also have looked like scum fake claiming to the hilt, but there is nothing saying that all our PM's are worded the same. (Unless that's common knowledge for IRC games which I admitedly have no experience with.

@tan (again)- also, lurking is not his worst scumtell, just the most obvious. The worst is that he voted UROE citing only that he was following DGB because she is experienced. Scum roles get handed to experienced players too, so to follow her blindly was stupid at best. I've seen enough games where scum will barn a misled townie adding to the bandwagon against another townie, without actually providing their own reasoning. When the lynchee turns up town, they immediately persecute the mistaken townie with cries of "I trusted you, you led the wagon on a townie, you must be scum!" The fact that DGB backed off once UROE claimed doesn't strike me as scummy. Whether I (or anyone) believed the claim or not, we could have left him alive to see what the scum did with him in the night. If the scum have a roleblocker, they would have had to use it. If they had killed him, at least that was another townie *not* dead. If they did nothing, we could have used the info that he uncovered. If tubby had come back day two and done anything except lurk and scream that DGB is scum I might have taken his case into consideration. Instead, his whole case hinges on her unvoting? That to me screams that he is scum, grasping at straws. This does not mean I consider DGB cleared by any means. For all I know, she and tubby are just distancing. *If* they are, it gives one possible explanation why he hasn't posted a more concrete case against her (no scum wants to put a bullet in their buddy's head) and why she hasn't gone out and metagamed him to death. (I'm familiar with her playstyle- when she wants to bury you, she'll make the mod check his notes to make sure you're not scum.)
