Yeah, I was kinda following along the game and decided to join the replacement list. Makes my reread a tad easier.

Expect a large post concerning my thoughts about the game and roles tomorrow.

I can assure you that I will not do that. I just haven't had the time to finish a reread and check out previous roles in other Tar Theme Games.

I'm sorry everyone, this game is over my head. However, I do promise to honor my commitment to the game and be as helpful as possible, though I have no idea to what degree.

So, in an effort to contribute something, I decided to use one of my abilities, Prak's Truth Serum, that allows me to determine if a statement by a player is a lie or not, but I can't use it to find alignment, so that limited my choices. I used this ability on Kairyuu's post 983 and discovered something interesting. This statement:

My ultimate activates when I have used my power 4 times successfully and everyone currently alive has origin claimed

This would appear to be a lie. Apparently, you have either used your ultimate or this isn't your ultimate condition. Or both.

I think I should clarify something about my ability. It tells me whether or not someone is lying, but not concerning alignment. Which you means the part where you said you were neutral could still be bullshit, like the rest of that paragraph.

Also, unfortunately, that ability was one-shot. Not my Ultimate, though.

Still trying to catch up. I finished day 1 earlier, though I'm still keeping track of everything going on, of course.

First of all:

1. Kairyuu seems awfully insistent that he needs to live another day. That bothers me.

2. I also noticed that some players seem to be defending Kairyuu even though there's seemingly absolutely no advantage for the town in keeping him alive. In fact, one defense seems to be, 'I want to see what this role power does'.

3. Most of Kairyuu's defenders don't seem to be proposing credible lynch alternatives.

I smell cult.

I do not like the idea of lynching a rule. If you want to get the rest of the rules, from past MS games, killing the Chairman Mao role is usually the answer to that problem. Lynching a rule seems to be more of a cult win condition than something the town should actually be doing. I don't like it.

I didn't learn this until my ultimate went off today. In fact, I didn't know my role until today, all I knew was that "I thought I was town". I literally had no idea if I was town, scum, neutral, etc, until today. Then I learned I'm Mao. The only thing I can think of here is that scum are losing a LOT more from not knowing the rules than the town. Either that or perhaps there is something else.

The fact that ever since someone speculated I might be Mao I've been a major target. Yesterday Kariyuu was the same. I can understand why town would want to lynch me (even though I am town, I am blocking the rules from being revealed), but I think that the scum in particular have a reason to kill me.

...that is serious, serious bullshit. How is not knowing the rules going to help the scum more than the town? Similar to Kairyuu, you are dropping hints with no substance. In fact, in your post, you are saying it's scummy to attack you.

You might be town...so I have a proposition. If you know the rules and are hiding them...why not prove it? Show us the rules. Prove your roleclaim. Can you do this or will this result in a modkill?

Why do you want FoSes so badly? I don't like it at all. And don't forget, Shadowgirl, that Pesco would've been able to submit two actions on Day...I believe it was 2. So, from what we can determine...

Day 4: iamusername
Day 5: Pesco(self-investigation? Sounds like some sort of reflection power)

Hence, six investigations before her death, though I'm not sure what to make of the investigations themselves.

One thing I hate, especially in a game like this, is people who suggest a plan with no basis except for 'it will help the town'.

If you want us to help you, please, specify why. If you really are town, you should have no problem is telling us how exactly us FoSing you will help the town. Kinetic proposed a bullshit plan for no reason, got lynched, and flipped scum(or is he town? I dunno, he was Mao so whatever). You are now repeating his mistake.

In a mindscrew, there is no purpose to screwing the town unless you aren't town.

That was an awesome game. Pretty much, the scum manipulated the town from the get-go. Notice that the town never lynched a single scum player...which I find hilarious.
