Even if Stage 1 is sabotagable, I would think it ill advised to waste 1 of 2 sabotages on the first event while town is discombobulated. Sabotages seem like something scum would use to either capitalize on town errors or course correct a scum mishap.

I'd guess the first event is less likely to be sabotaged than the rest of the game.

Quick thoughts

Ceph's frustration about being at the bottom of the reading totem pole rings genuine but I don't know if that is AI or what the alignment would be yet.

First impulse is that scum doesn't openly admit that they're very low effort by justifying how and why the game is stale. Doubly so for the sincerity of their vote on Gamma since there was no half asked excuse that they are definitively scum.. If Galron was scum, why go against my wishes about hammering intention?

If Galron is who I think he is, he is a very competent player. But I don't think a pre-emptive BoP based on questionable alt hunting skills is the next step for me to approach the slot. So I don't feel compelled to vote there.

Peta and skitter feel good to townbin.

I don't follow Pooky's read progression of Gamma.

Dwlee flip sounds increasingly attractive but not quite feeling the drive to push that.

Prior to the 48 hour deadline, Ydrasse was the current leader in Pink. Then Taly unvoted. Ydrasse was still the leader though because of seniority.

No one ever had more than 2 votes. I voted peta about a day ago because 5 out 6 people in pink had peta in their bottom two or three of Blue team, and skitter was on peta, whom I am town reading.

There was a last minute push for gammagooey, but that stopped at 2 votes and peta still went in with seniority.

Personally, I think Scum put the bullet in chamber 3 hoping I wouldn't Spin it right away. Putting the bullet in slot one makes Dunn look worse (I flip town here, scum knows that). Dunn has to make an excuse as to why he doesn't want to spin the Barrel hoping I don't spin the second I get it.

Skitter and Taly both saw through the bullshit to show how I am town early in the hood which is why I stayed I was going to sheep their votes (and even mentioned that I was biased for it). I did more reading of the main game thread during the hood deliberation than I had all game.

My analysis was based on Dunn's name dropping tendencies, which I felt Dunn is the type of scum player who actively ignores his buddies if he can. What I drew from his iso is how he never once mentions Saber ever, not even in a quote, and peta and Ydrasse only get a couple mentions at all. I figured there was some possibility of scum in one of those. Polling the hood, 5 out of 6 of the members had peta in their bottom 2 or 3 from the Blue team, so I spent considerable effort trying to get Pink to consolidate there in the event a case for someone better was never made.

Pink chat was just so anti-teamwork.

I'm town, the only people who don't know that are other town. You have to at least entertain that possibility. Scum Dunn cannot shoot a town player with Bullet 1.

That's why Bullet 3 was likely the chambered bullet. They had no idea what I was going to do, but Dunn shooting himself with bullet 1 (which is suboptimal play if you are town) was a setup that no matter what action I took, as long as it wasn't a spin, would have killed me, and Dunn doesn't look bad killing someone with the first shot.

This game isn't a Mafia game. It's a forum based reality game show.

Town majority hasn't ever really had any real control in the game. Why people continue to play like they think they do is confusing. We have no tools to help find scum, and the only one that has died so far has been by sheer luck (your town majority beat the person with like 3 or 4 votes in a duel).

Start playing hoping for lady luck to be on our side. The closest thing we have to scum hunting tool this event is only discussing the mid 4 options and not trying to do a full sort.

I think I should definitely be one of the first four, as well as Cakez since there is almost zero chance that either of us is killed. I think if dwlee crosses, Gamma needs to cross as well, but he can't be 4th, because if he's town, he'll be the compromise kill by scum if he is the last of the first 4. Scum has already made it across by my guess. There is absolutely no way in hell that the 4 "scummiest people in the game," actually have all the scum in them.

Since it's near impossible for Stagehands to kill the most townie looking people in the game, the optimal strategy is for them to act as pro town as possible. And since town can neither scan players since this is powerless, and has absolutely no idea which games are actually going to kill which players (but scum do), their only answer is to just kill lhf players.

It's cool. Just keep doing what your doing. I've still got a few days of driving ahead of me.
