I don't get why so many people are trying to bring this game back to how the bomb works/ why the scum would give it to a certain person. It doesn't make any sense to me and I feel like it is hindering the hunting of scum.

More seriously I get a town read from both BM and Coron through their argument, and don't think blowing up either of them is a good idea at this stage of the game.

I think Max is a good choice because he has said absolutely nothing, and disappeared as soon as people started calling him on it (now in all fairness to him that was only a few hours ago as well, and he can't be around all the time).

Tarhalindur doesn't seem like a terrible choice to me either given that he has had two posts that were completely without content, and has made a baseless accusation because of, according to him, IIoA.

I don't think Forbiddanlight is a good choice either because she is being active at least, and I don't get an overly scummy feeling from anything she has said so far.

So I think Max, or Tarhalindur is the best choice at this point.

I'm actually neutral in the LaLurkers argument. I have seen it used both effectively and ineffectively before, but at this point in the game I have to agree that lynching a lurker purely based on the fact that they are lurking is not a good idea.

I was in the process of writing my post when Batt posted his apparently, but yes, I would add him to my list of Max and Tar as a good esploding candidate.

I have no intentions of staying on MS past 6ishPM (which I often do, but usually at that time I don't actually respond properly as I'm either A, getting ready to go out, B eating or C surfing something else on the internet.), because I do have some sort of a social life you know, last night, for example, I was going to a BBQ, and next week I'm going back to school, so you see I do do things other than MS.

Right which is why I added the aside. I just don't like how you came into the game asking a question which had already been answered multiple times by multiple people, and then when called on it said that you wanted a serious answer (as much as it may not seem like it all of the previous answers were fairly serious in regards to it).

As for why the scum would pick a specific person I completely disagree that day 1 is the right day to talk about it. Maybe a few days down the road (like day 3 or 4) when there is at least some sort of pattern to look at it might be helpful, but at this point in the game it is pure speculation and does absolutely nothing.

@FL: Do you not agree with IIoA? and for that matter who do you feel is committing IIoA that Tar is ignoring?

@BM: I feel like you are being completely irrational at this point in the case of Coron. Though the fact that his playstyle and your playstyle are so radically different amuses me. (Besides it has been far to long since I've actually had a chance to play in a game with you.)

@Tar: I'm interested in hearing more from you about other people than FL.

I will admit that the section of my post directed towards bm is fluff, but I was just trying to help the feud between him and Coron settle so others who have not said anything might have a chance.

As for the scum logic debate, it isn't fair of you to call me scummy simply based on the fact that I feel one person who has been chosen is too small of a group to actually give any good analysis on the subject. That is speculation at best, and I don't feel that anything can really be gained by speculating. Actual analyzing I support. Speculation based on one scum choice I do not.

Since we're going to night soon, I'd just like to remind the scum that I'm irresponsible and highly volatile; if you give me the bomb tommorrow, I'll probably kill someone with my second post, and that's if I'm really trying hard to restrain myself.

I'll PM my choice to the mod the minute I find out I'm a bomb. And just not post, and laugh as the day ends without any posts.

The first quote suggests that DOS doesn't think IIOA is a basis for an accusation, but the second implies that

adopts IIOA and is surprised that FL does not.

The second post has nothing to do with whether I agree with IIoA, I was curious as to the reasons that FL didn't agree with it. I have never seen it used effectively and so I don't think it is a good reason for voting either.

I am voting Batt because of the way he pushed DGB yesterday (his questioning of her felt more like an attack to me than just questions on my reread). Then his whole thing with K7 offering to be blown up instead of Tar as a "scum tell". It feels very much like a weak attack on someone trying to push him into a bad light and set up an explosion today (if people had agreed with him obviously) since Tar was pretty much locked in at that point. Also I agree that him specifically stating it was the townie pm is a slip. Last because of his recent thing of Lynch Suicidals because they are scummy.

I don't feel like batt has been legitimately scum hunting at all all game from my reread either, and I don't like his OMGUS on Armlx earlier on this page.

Max- Mostly for the same reasons as yesterday.

Alvinz- I don't feel like he has really built a good case against anybody all game and just keeps throwing suspicions around with little real evidence at all.

Also, I believe it was DoS who said I "attacked" confirmed townie DGB yesterday. Could you please show us some quotes where I "attacked" her? Also let's assume I attacked her as you say. Why would scum do that? Now I can see scum doing this to discredit the confirmed townie in a regular setup, but not this where the confirmed townie IS going to be killed at the end of the day, regardless.

I was saying that your questioning of DGB felt more like an attack than innocent questions yesterday when my reread. Not that you directly attacked her.

Because the way you did it is very subtle. It isn't a blatant attack, but it does kind of throw a little suspicion on whether or not DGB (even though confirmed town) is making good decisions, and it doesn't really put all that much light on you like a blatant attack would.

I am certain other things were added to that case after I made my initial statement about it, and pointing out the reason I voted you early on day 1 (and didn't change it until Twomz did something extremely ridiculous) is deliberately trying to throw suspicion onto me with very little effort to look at any case that was on you yesterday.

These few days, I have not been motivated to play mafia with time and effort rather just relax and post a comment or 2 (check my latest posts for examples). So, I'm just going to be relaxing for the rest of the game.

A deadline is nearing and I much rather go with an explosion than none, so expect a vote change if nothing happens. Crazy is my 2nd suspect anyway.

I feel Alvinz should be blown up because:

1. He has only made wishy washy cases against people in an attempt to look like he is scum hunting:

I still think Max is the best person to bomb because of his still odd posts that are mostly jokes and not scumhunting, which apparently doesn't support his meta, and his statement about sucking up to DGB. I think scum would most likely do that because they don't want to get bombed, and real townies would be questioning and trying to find as much information possible.

Plus some insane WIFOM in the above quote.

@ Crazy: Are you trying to stay under the radar?

@ DGB: Here's my suspicions.

1. Max
-Starts off the game posting an odd post which sayed he was sad that DGB got the bomb that seemed as though he was laughing at DGB that she got the bomb, which to me felt like he was possibly distancing from the nightkill.
-Posts more obscure posts.
-Says that everyone should suck up to DGB, as she has the power to bomb anyone. I disagree because, the real scumhunter and townie would be avidly scumhunting and pressing questions to the person with the bomb. Sucking up to the bomb is like staying under the radar.
-Puts an OMGUS upon me, misquoting me saying that I only voted him for bandwagoning purpose, which makes no sense because I am the SECOND person to put a vote on which is by no means joining a "bandwagon"

2. Battle Mage (not super scummy, but the next)
-Seems to be just laid back and watching the game, laughing at whats going on.
-Argument with Coron. I found the argument pretty pointless and seemed like random bickering. He made the assumption that Coron "claimed scum" when Coron just stated a hypothetical situation.

3. Others deemed worthy for some actions:
Forbiddenlight - I didn't like the way you OMGUSed ?Twomz?
M4yhem - I didn't like you lingering on lynching lurkers, but I can understand your point of view.
Twomz - Your, uh, voting of 3 people like you didn't care about this game
killa seve - serious lurking. you post some fillers then leave.

plan as an excuse for his lack of posting and good play. Overall just sleeping through this game. Best option at this point. Second subject would be armlx as from my previous scumlist.
