I actually believe this. Like in last game, it makes no sense to make this up. God only knows why Krazy gives you this role though.

Well in the last game, making up the Supersaint Enabler would have been legitimately hurtful to my team because it warns the town of what is coming

i can confirm i wouldnt think to make this up, but given that "Ascetic Miller" doesn't make sense, "Mafia Miller" doesn't really make sense either and could potentially be something that tips mafia off about this spam miller thing. So if you combine that with how Miller got moved to the "Any Alignment" category... yeah..

I think skitts is town though, dont know chkflip yet. Although at this point i dont think it makes much sense for mafia to claim they're a miller -- could see doing it early for WIFOM like me/skitts, but later in the day when chkflip had the luxury of choosing? its a small thing but unsure theres really much of a point to revealing that as mafia now

I tried to give a read on everyone. I want to get myself moving. Nothing's really strong though.

Still on same page stuff but Titus this reads list freaks me out a tiny bit. Mostly because you've played with me multiple times before and what the hell where on earth did you get that I had a strong opening from?

I don't even remember any of my own posts this game which is not a great sign!! So I'm just curious what exactly gave you strong vibes from me especially since you know I can do the surface level town stuff to at least some extent as scum.

And given I have no memory of my own posts and I was phone posting the whole time I doubt I did much more than poke at surface level stuff that caught my eye at the time

Also another point, I don't understand why you're doing this readslist. You have everyone at weak-something or null and some of these, like my read or the read on Starcrossed (which just says "odd" with no elaboration?) seem a bit like you're just tossing stuff out there. Which is fine if you're trying to get yourself going but I'm also not seeing you use this as a springboard to go in any specific direction. Like you're not trying to dig into why I "fell off," or what is odd about Starcrossed and why everyone seems to scum read them. You're just kinda throwing out what I can assume are fairly luke-warm takes and leaving it at that.

Gamma's posting is good? At least I don't notice his classic overreactions and generally fake emotions that I notice in his scum posts a lot. And I like the fact he basically pays no attention to the wagon that piles immediately on him and immediately goes into solving. I also don't know if this is a bad assumption but I think in a lot of instances scum spends more time being defensive and might even half-OMGUS on one of the wagon voters as an easy way to generate content or get a foothold in some sort of read but Gamma doesn't do that at all.

Very chill attitude in general, which isn't necessarily alignment indicative but from my experience with Gamma he has a little more trouble manufacturing tonally genuine posts as scum

I have no particular opinion on Morning Tweet's posting mostly because it's the same as every other game I've read from her in that it's nice, a little fence-sitty, and fairly thorough. I'm wary of there being too much mech talk in her posting but that also seems to be a symptom of the game.

yknow I town read RCE very early on for a bit of a silly reason but I don't think scum reading him for fluff posting is the way to go?

but scum like to establish themselves as towny, they're kind of addicted to it, by doing whatever they think will get them town read by people. In some cases that is fluff posting, but for a lot of people that's solving (or pretending to solve). I've only played with RCE a few times but I don't think of them as a fluff posting user, so I would interpret any posting here that's more on the fluffy side to indicate some level of comfort in the game. In other words, he's not eager to get town read because he knows he's town.

Also I really do think the crackpot theory from earlier about the setup was vaguely towny just because it's so crazy I don't think scum literally ever spends effort thinking it up. It's exactly the type of thing town spends time pondering and I think skitter is wrong on thinking someone wouldn't actually consider or believe that. It's not a silly reason I standby it goddamnnit

I guess this really just boils down to a *tone* read but I think RCE has a towny tone and attacking him for fluff posting in what I feel like is a... fluffy game seems to be *not it* imo

I feel like a lot of what you're doing around the slot is not very genuine? Like I understand people having personality clashes with the slot and not really understanding how they tend to function, but skitter has told you multiple times that Nancy's rather reactive reads aren't AI indicative for the slot, so your repeated efforts to try and get something else out the slot feel like busywork.

Like the quality of them not wanting to "talk about anything but themselves and how much they should be townread" is not a basis for a scum read on that slot, something skitter knows and has tried to tell you multiple times. The reason I'm so wary is Nancy is a very easy scum read to hold because of how reactive she can be to reads on her. I don't really get the sense from your prodding of the slot that you're trying to solve the slot by getting their opinions on other people.

Instead you're doing this LAMISTy thing where you tell them to solve and not worry about reads on them instead of like... actually digging deeper into your scum read on them?

If you haven't encountered this type of player before I understand having an aversion to the slot at first, but it seems like you're using a shallow first impression to push a scum read instead of going any number of levels deeper

That's a very circumstantial and a bit uninformed look about our interactions, I don't know why you made assumptions based on one or two instances of dialogue, given there is more to it. I've asked her to clarify on her reads (and other things such as her 'THERE MUST BE SCUM IN THE GAMMA VOTES') and instead she just goes back to essentially 'well you should townread me and im obvtown' you can see this for yourself. As for why I try to appease to her and say 'im not scumreading you for being nancy and I can't read AtE'? Should explain itself. At some point I have to make a logical conclusion that there is ulterior motive and that she is having trouble faking reads, so to make up for that she just ignores the necessity to do so.

I might have some bias given that I've played a lot with Nancy and feel like I have a pretty good idea of how to read her and also how to get her to produce content.

But I will say the 'well you should townread me and im obvtown' is largely alignment indicative, but comes out much more and with much fuller force when she's town. Mostly because I think she has trouble lying about things like that. There have been a few times as scum where Nancy has just dodged the question when I've straight up asked "should I be town reading you," which is why I'm town leaning the slot so far this game.

I think you'll find Auro to be the more readable part of the hydra from your perspective. I admit I still haven't read everything but have you interacted with that part of the hydra at all yet?

I think Nancy places a lot of value in getting town read, like if she's not getting town read then that's her number one priority as town before trying to figure out other people's alignments. In general, I think she approaches people on an individual basis based on how they relate to her. So if she doesn't believe someone's read on her she hyperfocuses on that.

In fact I think she's a very sensitive player in that she's sensitive to how people are reading her and want it to be *correct* so when it's not she has to decide whether they're scum or wrong town.
