I have some thoughts on why we lost but I’m in a slightly bad mood right now and I think it will come off as excessively pissy if I go into it now. I may come back to it later on. I accept that my D2 read on Maria was terrible, but I think there were a lot more factors in play that contributed to the loss.

Also, respect to scum for going for the rose wincon, that caught be off guard because I think I’d always just play for the parity wincon

Yeah, I think it would probably have swung the game to town if we’d lynched Maria D1 and I’d shot eyestott and ABR had shot lilith

I considered that re:Icon but was concerned that if scum had 2 guns left (as eyestott flipped N1) that they could end the game N2 if he didn’t hit scum

I mean rand reads would have hit scum 42% of the time on D2 (50% if you consider the soft clear on farside) and 66% on D3, idk if that counts as town having "good reads" really, given that normally hitting scum D2 would need to be above a rand rate of 33% here. Everyone was wrong at one point or another on one important slot or another, and that's why scum outplayed town. Luck has very little to do with it, unless scum weren't aiming at people they thought had late night roses N1 in which case that was bad luck

I decided not to lead the town as I usually do because Lilith and others would foolishly ignore my reads so I'll play the low power position and join whoever I think is making progress. When Lilith and other players who have all the voting block power fall, my time will come to rise and finish the scum off. It's as simple as that. No I don't have a gun so you can lynch me day 1 if you were hoping I would be vigged.

I'm absolutely not taking responsibility for the loss here when we have moments like this. If there's anything that defused the wagon on scum D1 it was you going "fuck it I'm on team tunnel or no-lynch" and a bunch of weak fucking limps following. I absolutely agree with Titus that town cohesion, or the lack thereof, was what lost this game for town rather than the individual reads of any player.

Maybe you should consider the fact that you picked up 3 (not 5) votes as a result of not doing anything is an incentive to actually play the game from the beginning and not to assume that any push on you is coming from scum
