We've been joking around for too long, as much fun as lynch the lurker is, it aint going to find us those cult leaders.

Last i checked, people who get cult recruiter pms dont end of deciding to blow off the game.

Usually these people pull out their A Game so they can get a win as a cult recruiter on their resume(honestly what could be more glorious? other than maybe a win as an SK).

thus I don't understand his hardline defense of Mneme prior to Mneme's lynch.

The way he shot down my argument for Mneme being a recruiter is just completely terrible.



My argument for Mneme being a recruiter was this:

Adel investigated Mneme
Adel then voted Mneme Start of Day One without Reason Attached.
If Adel investigated Mneme as innocent, then Adel would not vote someone she knows to be highly likely to be innocent.
Thus Adel must've voted Mneme with the information Mneme was guilty.

When Muerrto counters my argument, he does it along this thread:

In short, there is absolutely no downside to come forward as a cop on day 1 if she got a guilty night 0. Period. There's only 2 people in the whole game that she can investigate successfully(that matter). Killing one day 1 would have been MUCH greater than not claiming. Period.

I'm quite disturbed people are saying it could be a guilty.

I'm placing that blame on Pooky atm and once again I'm very happy with his lynch. I'll have to re-read to see who actually started it tho. I'm not at all happy with a Nmeme lynch at this point.

Only thing I can figure is that since Adel knew Nmeme wasn't 1 of 2 cults, she was prodding to see if he was 1 of the other 2.

Now, if Adel's specific play is against cop claims like it sounds like people are saying, then she simply played wrong this game with regards to her role if she did get a guilty. I put more stock in the innocent result.

its not an active ability in the sense that I choose to use it, basically the number either goes up or down and I get a reading every morning that tells me how much total cult presence is in the game.

Lynching will most likely play into the hands of the largest cult, I suspect it is already large enough to win in the endgame.

When I say night, I really mean day because it gives me a reading at the beginning of every day.

The reason I was holding off on revealing this information was because I knew we were very close to losing and I wanted to see how the initial interaction would work out to figure out if we were facing a size 4 cult or not.

On setup balance:

Each individual cult was horribly underpowered.

The town power roles made it fairly difficult to win.

What I really hate about this setup however is the variable number of lynches per day.

Not only is the number of lynches per day really a huge factor in what happens in each game, but basically your policy was "I'll schedule however many lynches I want each day" instead of setting it up in advance is kinda horrible in terms of planning for the cults. Not only were they screwed in terms of diluted power, but they had no idea what to plan for. Should they nightkill or try to recruit? These decisions are based entirely on how many lynches the town has each day, and when they don't know, it just makes it terribly hard for the cults to figure out what the heck they are supposed to do to win.

I personally think having the mod decide on a number for the number of lynches on each day on his on whim is kind of a bad idea.(a really bad idea)

But that's just me I guess.
