Vollkan's claim is interesting, ad tbh, I tend to believe it. In which casse, it would be useful for BM to claim his target as if vollkan is telling the truth that player is very likely innocent.

Well, I do get scummy vibes from Lowell (as I told you last night), and that last post didn't help any, but tbh, I'm not really sure on anyone atm.

I guess this is my issue with the vollkan thing:

You've provided a situation where vollkan is scum. That's great, but not too useful. It can be done just about any player in the game. It doesn't prove anything, as there are multiple and, in fact, innumerable explanations for each event. It's highly unlikely yours is correct - even if vollkan is scum, there are again, many many possibilities competing with your theory. You have a choice in how to proceed, then.

Your first choice is to prove that yours is the correct scenario. This is nigh impossible. For one, you may not be correct in your theory. What if, say, vollkan was an SK who decided to set up a vig claim? In that case, you couldn't prove your theory, because it would be untrue. Even minor variations could throw you off. The second difficulty is that, as I said before, each action can be interpreted in many different ways. It's difficult to see how you can prove that each action can be interpreted how you want it to.

There is, however, a second choice, which is much simpler and would provide conclusive evidence of vollkan being scum. He has provided his own testimony. There's no reason for him to be lying if he's town. As such, if you can prove that he's lying, or disprove his account of events, you might have a case. As it stands, eh. I'm not convinced.

OK, well I do have a few thoughts.

First off, I have a notion that pete d is scum. His play towards bookitty is odd, as is hers towards him. He attacks her, but in a softly softly style. He successfully identified two scum, but was very cautious about them. Bookitty also lists him as a suspect, but only when she's going down does she focus on him. Not certain, but keeping an eye on him.

Lowell also reads as scummy. None of his posts have given me a great vibe and I dislike his play on the bookitty wagon.

Finally, I'm somewhat suspicious of Poro, too, for his complete lack of content, despite having quite a few posts. Lurking in plain sight.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was one of the first people to seriously go after Nekka, which I did as soon as I replaced in. I was the third vote on the bookitty wagon, and voted ckd early on day 2 when I could just as easily have gone with Setael.

It's true - I wasn't referring to your later play, though, when both seemed to be going down. I was referring to your earlier analyses, were you call them both eh maybe possible scum and your top suspects and give them Minor FoSses and stuff (which seems especially odd as you were already voting Nekka-lucifer when you FoSsed him.

You may also note that her reasons were complete BS. This says nothing about my alignment. (btw, what about bookitty saying 'oh yeah and btw I think Unright is scum too I see it now' (not an exact quote) late day 1?)

Her reasons being bullshit only strengthen the case that she was trying some last minute desperate distancing. Unright is another possibility, yes.

We were going to be after you, today, setael - but I don't really see you claiming that as cop. No way - you wouldn't want to lose two easy mislynches. That said, I don't really think DP is scum. I'll have to look at the four candidates again.

MoS/Porochaz are off-limits today. BM is lurky. Come back Battle Doc. Setael is scummy, but possibly cop. Farside/DP/Lowell/pete d are our candidates for today.

I think I've said before I think Lowell is scum. That's not really improving, he still reads vaguely scummy to me. Pete d... I still think it's possible it was a bus. I don't think he's the most likely scum though. Unright is prob town. Ckd's probing of him seems genuine, and farside has only reinforced my town read. Dragon Phoenix has read town to me this game. I'mma go re-read his posts just to be sure, though. Yup, he's town. You can call me a fool after the game if I'm wrong, but I'd be shocked.

Don't y'all just love stream of consciousness? Lowell is deffo my top suspect.

More food for thought. I know the scum have been erratic a lot of the game, but WHY is a claimed doctor still alive? There is no guarantee that we have a doctor in this setup, and a doc is anyway a convenient scum claim. I don't think BM is a good lynch today, but let's not forget that he is in no way a cleared pro-town role.

That's... very broad, Setael. Surely you have preferences? Actually, I'm pretty sure you've already stated your preferences, and yet you would hammer anyone? Would you not try and push fr the lynch you prefer?

DP: I've stated why I suspect pete d, and it's nothing to do with too townie, which is a terrible argument. It's more to do with the way he sort of suspects CKD, he votes, unvotes, fosses and votes Nekka (later Boo).

I'm pleased with my play this game, as I felt my reads wee for the most part fairly accurate. I'm disappointed with the DP lynch - the Lowell one not so much. BM needed to bite the bullet and nk setael a night earlier, if he wanted a chance of winning, and given he actually managed to get away with that, he might even have stolen the game at that point.

Scum did implode somewhat, and were not helped by a setup that favoured the town to a large degree.

I think we pretty much secured the game after lynching 2 scum and forced the 3rd to claim. Maybe BM could have pulled a lurk and NK'd the cop, but meh.
