Joking about produces responses. No responses means no info.Unright wrote:
Based on how many people are making jokes, some of them must be town. I'm not discouraging scum from joking around. They can keep on clowning around if they want.curiouskarmadog wrote:

When townies start doing joking uber-scummy posts, nothing can really be learned from it. And if you can't learn anything from it then it's useless.youknow the jokes are coming from townies?..GUESS WHO'S BACK?

Unright. I don't think you have grasped the concept of the random voting stage. It produces reactions, which in turn produces responses to those reactions. These responses could have 'partial' scummy hints in it and we can pressure the person with the 'partial' scummy response. That guy can either be pressured into explaining himself well, or totally messing it up, ending up in a possible lynch.
Get it now? Without Random voting, no-one talks.GUESS WHO'S BACK?

YES. I voted myself randomly but added a little gimic for the rest of us to respond to.Unright wrote:curiouskarmadog wrote:
Was your vote on yourself truly random?Nekka-Lucifer wrote:Unright. I don't think you have grasped the concept of the random voting stage.
If so, why did you suggest otherwise?
If not, why do you consider it to be the random voting stage? What reactions were you hoping to observe?GUESS WHO'S BACK?

Help me out a bit... What possible responses to self-voting are you looking for that might lead to a scum-tell? As far as I can tell, the only responses to a self-vote are annoyance, indifference, or amusement. And those derive from the personality of the player, not the nuances of the role that the player has.Nekka-Lucifer wrote:YES. What system did you use to obtain your random result?
Also, is it your goal in this game to find scum?
My system was me thinking of someone to vote.
That said,Unvote. I don't want to be willing to lynch myself any longer . Would you?
Any other problems that you wanna ask me, feel free.GUESS WHO'S BACK?

Hang on. Did you just claim Mason or did you just say that you could be proven by the cop?Gage wrote:Of course, I suspect I'm now the favorite to lynch. If need be, I can roleclaim, because it isn't like I'm terribly important. There is also one person who can back me up, but I certainly am not going to roleclaim for them. It's also for planning scum traps. It works better with 2 people involved (Obviously)mandalorian wrote:
I most certanly do not. If one Mason is about to be lynched, the other one will claim to prevent the lynching of a pro-town. Isn't that the whole point of the "Mason" role? Gage's claim goes against logic. Thus, it must be false. My vote stays on him.curiouskarmadog wrote:
does this mean you believe the claim or not?mandalorian wrote:
That "1 person who might not back me up" stuff sounds like he's Mason, but his Mason partner (he specified that there is only one) won't confirm his claim, although that is the only "power" that two Masons have.Nekka-Lucifer wrote:

Actualy, it was my intent to start by apologizing for submarrining. But, since my only post inluded a vote on Gage, more power to for cuting down on spam.GUESS WHO'S BACK?

Confusion from Nekka-Lucifer strikes again.mandalorian wrote:
This might be a newbie question, but: How do you trap scum by fake-claiming a Mason? What would the theoretical Scum have to do to get traped?Nekka-Lucifer wrote:

I meant that Masons can plan a scum trap during the night and implement it on the day. Eg. Starting a fake bandwagon, and then claiming once scum have caught.GUESS WHO'S BACK?

Hey. It's been a while since I posted where I stand.
I stand on the fence with BM. His previous actions and bandwagon and -1 etc made we want a vote on him but not a lynch, but then I wanted his re-read and, due to him posting me as 'probably' pro-town as apposed to everyone thinking I'm scum in every single game, I like him.
So...
Ehh. I'll wait for his PBPA to finish and then make a partial desicion.GUESS WHO'S BACK?

How 'bout you go back and read abit. Only then will you find out that I was about to vote him but I wanted to see his PBPA he told us about.pete d wrote:
He hasn't really done anything to make me think he's scummy. Although, post 271 seems a trifle convenient.ckd wrote:what about BM seems ok to you?
vote: Nekka-Lucifer. That last post seemed off, if I'm reading it right he is saying that he'd vote BM because he didn't finish his PBPA? It's another nothing post.GUESS WHO'S BACK?
