I have a feeling the SK's would try to sort of borderline lurk and fly under the radar, popping in from time to time with a almost useless comment in this sort of game, given the fact the town will probably end up lynching either a lurker or a contraversial player in the early days, given that we practically have just as much chance catching an SK by this method than by just random lynching atm.

Players that I think fall in the borderline lurking catagory (In order of guiltyness)

I understand why you might think he's scum, but I don't think the scum-tells he's displaying aren't really valid in this game, I'm inclined to think that rather than going after one person, an SK would just go with the flow, Ryan's also contributing a lot. He might be a clever SK, but I think the ones on my list, particularly K-Scope, are better bets for scum.

The biggest tells will be when one of them knows who an SK is, and when they are the only SK left.[/quote]

SK's don't care who gets lynched as long as it's not them, since on Day 1, and maybe a little bit further into the future in this game as well, usually the most contraversial player ends up lynched, so, I'd imagine the SK's main aim for now would be to just stay out of the spotlight.

I really don't like the beginning of this post... And I'd like to hear the reasoning behind the second part.

In hindsight, the beginning does sound very scummy, but I was only stating an opinion.

The reasoning is that those four made themselves look especially scummy with Ryan's quicklynch (or at least to me), making them, if SK's wanted to know the identity of another SK, prime targets.

Lowell makes a good point above, I count 16 posts yesterday by Theo (and he replaced in), and 2 today. Maybe he's trying to quieten down a bit so he's not noticed as much. He'd be a good target for SK's as well because he posted a lot and he was one of the later ones on the Ryan wagon (I especially didn't like his "go speed lynch" comment in Post 540), the SK would either be getting a frequent poster or a possible SK.

I think Theo might be the best lynch for today. (I've also checked his sig, he is posting elsewhere, so he's able to get on the site.)

I agree with you about the replacements though, I know if I had an SK role, I wouldn't want to be replaced, IMO SK is the coolest role you could have, you get to kill every night without having to cover up for scumbuddies. We shouldn't ignore those who have replaced in completely, but I think it's more likely that SK's would be among those who have not been replaced.

I'm saying that I'm not sure whether to stick with my vote on Theo, or put it on you or Yogurt because of the replacement thing. But I think it'll stay on Theo, since someone may want to be replaced for issues outside the game as well.

I think that you never thought that replacement was a scum tell at all. You were merely trying to build up on theo's theory and try to get us lynched. You did not vote for me or YB because at that point you were waiting to see if anyone else supported that theory. Had no one done so and counter accused theo, you already had your vote on him. Had they supported the theory, you would have turned that FOS you had on both of us into a vote on one of us.

If I wanted to get you lynched, I would have voted for you, I FOSed not because I was waiting for someone to agree, but because I wasn't certain that you were an SK, and I liked my theory that had Theo as an SK better.

I was just answering Sir T's question, he said I was claiming SK for no reason, so I told him I wasn't. I wouldn't claim SK full stop even if I had a load of votes on me, but I didn't feel the need to put that in.

A handful of times throughout the game you have declared individuals are town based on WIFOM logic.

If you're talking about my "SK's are less likely to flake theory", two problems:

1) It's not WIFOM, why would someone flake so someone who happens to replace them gets a better chance of winning.

2) You're ignoring Theo.

Hang on, I feel this is unfair, the only reason Sir T offered to lynch himself on Day 3 becuase he realised if we did, we would force the SK's to either draw with the town or lose, now the town has no chance of even drawing, if we knew this on Day 3, we wouldn't have lynched Sir T, and may well have lynched one of the SK's (I had a pretty convincing case against Jalyn), which would have given us a chance of even winning this, after being badly disadvantaged already by all the modkilled townies, no we have no chance of even drawing.
