I wanted to try a more concise style this game, which sort of worked out, sort of didn't. It might come around some time in the future, but I don't think I'll use it again in a game I'm replacing into; had I done the normal catchup posting, I think it would've been better for the game in general. I also tried to be less aggressive, which was fun, which was cool, but it wasn't what the game needed.
My paranoia lynches actually ended up doing the best possible thing that they could've done, which was that none of us got lynched and I got pretty solid townreads on both RD and DGB that I doubt I could've gotten in any other way. They were completely opposite reactions, but both of them screamed town, I thought.
Zdenek, good shit on HD. I had a townread on HD I didn't reanalyze for a while until I suddenly realized that my reasons for townreading him were absolute shit. I also thought RD's fake-hammer gambit was fucking excellent and Syryana's case on DGB was pretty solid minus the fact he disappeared and gave up afterwards."Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten

Optimal scum play in a nightless is not to bus at all because bussing a partner means you need to get 2 more mislynches instead of just one. If you can't manage that, you're looking at mislynch as much as possible, bus once. Mislynch as much as possible, bus once. HD could've pulled off the GOD of all bussing sprees, but he still had what, 7 mislynches to go through? In post 3252, Oversoul wrote:If you do draw scum, come up with a massive bus/distance gambit
Personally I would have set up one of the better town players as a person who lynched a lot of scum, throw in a few mislynches between the scum lynches, hope for the best"Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten

yeah completelyIn post 3266, Tammy wrote:Nacho did you really forget mew was me? Empire was like lol Nacho thinking your slot could have been scum and I think my reaction was like yeah BB too wtf? Actually BB moreso than Nacho as BB and I have been partners before, so I would have thought he had a better handle on how I would react to being called scum and getting frustrated in a game.
until mew flipped and i was very confused
and then i looked to see who he replaced and i felt really, really stupid
