I'm not going to apologise for going after Battle Mage, and I never will. A part of me still thinks that the part of the mod's post revealing him as town was a typo. >_>

I stand by the fact that his post was the scummiest I've seen in a while.

Oh, and you know, just because some people may or may not consider me a 'good player' does not mean that I am incapable of wanting to lynch anyone other than scum. Go find almost any game with an experienced player in, and watch as at least once they play their part in lynching a pro-town player, to their own detriment.

Actually to be honest I think your really good player. What I think happened with BM is that he was addressing one part of an issue (possible scum trying to save their partner) and thought we should go after the partner. Where you thought it easier (?) and more town like if he were to just target the three that hoped. I think you saw this as a scumtell where I saw it as a newbie trying to find scum that he overlooked the obvious.

Same. I have only ever seen I think 2 pro town role blockers, however this game being filled with "basic" roles there's a slightly higher than normal chance we could have one. That being said though, I think it is worth the risk... After we hear his targets though.

At this point I would say yes. It is highly in our favour. Right now the scum doc would KNOW who his allies are, and would not protect anyone remotely town.
Our town doc on the other had, although he would use his best judgement wouldn't KNOW who was town or scum, and could in result end up protecting scum. The town doc also has a much larger group to try and look after, it would be harder to judge where the mafia might strike. As the game moves on though, we are going to wish that we had a doc more and more though.


On a side note... Open Question to everyone: This is actually, as far I can recall, my first game that has actually had a "Mafia Doc" in it. Has anyone here ever played in a game with one before?

For the time that I was inactive in this game it was at diferent times both (a) legitimate abscence and (b) Being happy with my votes and not wanting to fan the flames of arguements I found had gone on longer than needed.

When I saw something that I thought need to be made clear, I commented on them. example, how many people thought Twito was vig because of a joke he made.

Looking back through my posts, I believe the only time I went with out posting for longer than four days (which wasn't during a night phase) was between Feb 19 - Mar 1.
At that time I was of the belief that TCS and Panzer were viging each other and thats what people were hung up discussing about.
I cant say for sure now whether I was able to post during many of those days and just didn't or if I was more short on time for those days.
If you want to say that I should have added something to that conversation though that is fine but if you choose to do so, please keep in mind that you only felt the need to comment on the following three things in that same time period

On the surface this is a normal confirmation post. The reason for the *muttering* part though is the fact that I am a normal townie, a role that I have been getting in pretty high numbers recently and I was getting tiered of it.

Next he quotes a post by TCS which said that BM said that voting on Canuckle started because at least one person with 2 votes on them was scum. TCS continues by saying he's not so sure, after all, that's 2 out of 12 votes needed. He then expresses doubt that it was scummy, and claims confusion. Nightfall quoted all of that just to say, and I quote "2nd this..."

There wasn't much more to say here. I agreed with everything he said and it was the same as the thoughts going through my head.

Next post, he explains his "translation" of QFT.

Then he remembers to Unvote, Votes for scotmany, and says to lock pevergreen in the closet.

Honestly I cant recall the exact reason I "locked" Pever in the closet. He and I were in one or two other games together at that time, I think it was just a little inside joke referencing another game.

I think people took this to mean a bit more then it was suposed too. The many players (not all players) were ones that I found hints of scumminess in. It was a way of saying that I really dont have a good idea of whose town and whose not.

1. I said that I thought Twito was scum and that that was why I was voting him. The town comment was a follow up comment to say that even if I am wrong Twito was acting fairly odd and scummy and it wouldn't be the worst thing we could have done.

sometimes mafia and/or sk's have certain flavour. It can be used to link groups to certain kills. It could potentially help in proving a vig's claim and proving fake claims false. Any info we can get is good info.

My error here. I thought the whole list was of CDB's comments. When you said CDB thought I was scummy, I looked at the list and seeing the number of times shadow was mentioned I thought you were misrepresentating the info.
