Not that I don't appreciate being called obv-town, but NY 159 was my first scum game. Or maybe just my first non-micro scum game. It's a valid observation; I do suck as I almost never roll scum, but I do like to think my scum game has improved a little since NY 159. I'm going to assume good intent since that was just kind of volunteered out of nowhere. In my experience scum usually wait until my wagon is already rolling to defend me.

Thinking about where to go from here. Just read Penguin's iso and I actually like her posts a little better now. I didn't really get the Hero-wagon until I re-read #374. First point is terrible and the testing the waters stuff seems terrible and reaching. Plus the jump to Om (who would seriously just be a policy lynch) without commenting on the switch rubs me kind of wrong.

The recent interaction between Vifam and Archive has got me feeling a lot more positive about Vifam than I was, and not so jazzed about Archive.

We should also consider ending this day soon as we were penalized 10 days and day 1 is essentially random anyhow. The days will be more useful to us later. If we can have somebody lynched before February I think that would be good.

Sidenote: I just put in two and a half shifts with the Trevor Project, plus an hour of overtime, so I've been listening to depressed and suicidal kids for 6 hours. I am going to get food, and probably smoke a big fat bowl of marijuana. Possibly in reversed order. Stay frosty kids. Will be back when I've managed to unwind.

I'm trying to look at these from both perspectives. The scum thinking is kind of easy to see. I have to look harder to pull town off it.

For the few posts with any content he's got he does seem to rattle off whatever he's thinking. However, his thoughts have been kind of useless since speculating about whether breaking game rules is more town or more scum is dumb, and Boner/Matt's status as town has never really been in questions. I'm not liking how he ended his comment on Hero. It was looking like he was coming up with a secondary read and then he hedged it at the last second. It's enough.

I actually didn't hate UN's walls, which is probably a bad sign since I usually don't care much for UN's play.

@Mhork - Kind of dumb to ask questions you know the answer to. If Matt has something more interesting to say than "the guy I'm voting for", cool, but I'm really not sure what you are expecting here.

@Matt - I get IaI, but is lynching him worth derailing the Mhork wagon? I'd just as soon lynch Mhork and leave IaI as potential Vig-bait.

Because, even though both are scummy, IaI carries enough of an increased chance of being scum to justify the extra time spent getting def-probscum over straight probscum.

In regards to the case itself, I find his town read on hero questionable and there's something intangible bothering me about his null list. I guess I'd like to see him comment on some of the people there and make that list smaller. Beyond that the biggest thing bothering me is his tone and the fact that he's still pushing the mollie vote. I personally have them about even odds, but I know I've missed things on IaI's case and Mhork's is pretty well laid out by this point. IaI is going to start looking like a better and better option, and you seem confident enough. Besides, if it doesn't take, Mhork's not exactly going anywhere.
