Bah, reread recent stuff to see all of the claims. My interpretation of what I've read is that Mari is a goon and BJ is a godfather. I'll claim if necessary.

Actually on rereading raj, I can't get a good feel for which of raj/BJ is more likely to be a godfather. But I'm pretty sure one of them is a godfather, as I can't see Max as scum and I know I'm not mafia, and 4 scum in a 25 player game is too few.

The only thing that's changed since then is that I unvoted and revoted Mari.

Typical rule of thumb is 25%-33% scum. With a weak town, I'd expect around 25%, which would be 6ish scum, which can't be the case since the game would be over (we've killed only 3 Glork, Fortify, vikingfan). So unless something weird is going on there are 2 scum left.

We do have some info since raj didn't hammer Mari when she had two votes on her today.

So is BJ or raj the godfather? Given that this game seems to be based on cop mechanics, there basically has to be an investigation immune godfather.

Leaning towards voting raj at the moment, just based off of yesterday's events. But in this situation there's no reason for me to place a vote before everybody makes a post.

Well, no there isn't any direct proof that I'm protown.

Except that everybody's basically accepted that the two of you were Fritzler's cop targets ever since he died, and there's been EIGHT night kills since that happened, of which SIX have been townies. If both of you are protown, then I don't see a reason why scum wouldn't have tried to kill either of you ahead of say Coron, BMQ, or CES.

I'll also point out that looking at both of BJ/raj's posts, there's nothing that really sticks out protown there either.

Did more rereading, and I'm now a lot more comfortable with BJ being protown than raj. I'm only really waiting for BJ to show up today before I place a vote.

BJ lead the twito lynch when a max lynch was looking inevitable. Given that Max was probably the bookie target, I find it hard to believe that BJ would stick out his neck for something that seems to have no purpose.

Also damning in my mind for raj is Post 848, where raj is sure that Kelly is a cop (something that was not clear at all at the time; she could have had some other sort of role). This is especially bizarre given that raj then proceeds to attack and vote kelly.

Fair enough. I'd be more suspicious of you if you'd just showed up and voted for somebody.

I'm also willing to accept that the nightkill of spectrumvoid/max last night does not provide any information either way about who's the remaining scum; given that everybody was pretty sure max was town, spectrumvoid seems like an obvious night kill for anybody. Any argument I'd make about scum passing of a chance to kill you two would be based on the CES, BMQ, Tamuz, Coron series of kills nights 7-10 (Scum had reasons to target both Spamwise and MBL, since both were cleared by investigations. Also, I don't believe scum knew about Tamuz's role when they targetted him.)

Heck, I'm even willing to concede that I'd probably have made every post I've made so far in this game whether I was protown or scum. (I mean, feel free to look at them, but you're probably better of looking at posts by Nightfall, slakingmaster, and our various known scum).

I think Nightfall getting replaced hurt town a lot, since I suspect he would have followed up on a Glork lynch on day 5.

Remind me never to jump away from my first instincts; BJ was way too talkative/helpful in the early game compared to his normal style of play. That said raj was completely unhelpful; for reference, you lurked most of early game, acted weirdly with respect to Kelly's cop claim, followed Glork blindly in pursuing STD and armlx after the vikingfan lynch, hammered Primate, and seemed to be trying to deflect the Mari lynch.
