I just picked someone and was being a jackass.

I really should not have been so adamant about that in my first post.

However, this might not be so bad a thing after all.

Lets look at what happened as a result of my idiocy.

1. VitaminR jumps on a bandwagon without even thinking to question what I'm talking about.
2. Don Gaetano freaks out way too much, especially since I haven't actually claimed anything I've just voted for him.
3. A couple posts later Don Gaetano is already willing to roleclaim with only a couple people having checked in the thread.
4. Armlx is more than willing to lynch Don Gaetano for the sake of not being lynched himself (seems like he has self preservation on his mind).

personally I don't like a couple of reactions that occured here, what do you guys think?

I don't like the way armlx is playing this right now. He seems a little too sure of who is and isn't scum, and at the same time he's claiming that we should lynch all liars with me having lied at all.

in fact i've been very straightforward in this whole mess once i realized how blown out of proportion this whole thing got.

Just out of curiosity armlx, what is it about my posts that make me seem so scummy? Is it just the misunderstanding part, or do you have something real to be suspicious about?

Other people who bandwagoned at least gave some sort of explination as to why they were willing to jump ship, VitaminQ simply jumped on the ship with no explination and no reasoning, like a sheep he did. Besides that my comment about him was just one of many, I didnt intend to single anybody out, you Brian are assuming that I was trying to get him lynched. Now it seems like you're trying to get attention shifted to me for essentially being an idiot.

I don't like how LyingBrian just showed up, explained how he knew he was lurking and that he hoped nobody would notice? That doesn't seem like a very helpful way to contribute.

Ok here's the deal.

I'm playing really sloppy.

Here's why.

I have an easily provable pro-town role, that does not really help the town all that much. And if I'm night killed it's not going to hurt the town all that much. I feel secure in my role enough that I can joke around.

I have not seen anything yet that strikes me as particularly scummy.

I'm the Bartender.

Everynight I can choose two players which will be invited to my bar. During that night we become a three player mason group.

I can only invite any given player one time.

Last night, I did not submit a choice because I did not know that the game was starting with night.

If you will allow me to live until tonight then I will prove my role by inviting two people of the towns choice.

Then I will probably be roleblocked and then lynched tomorrow, you know this situation doesn't look good for me.

Oh well, whatever you guys wanna do.

I'll agree with you guys that the town chooseing the targets does leave somebody open to being killed. Maybe it would be a good idea to pick 3 or 4 people for me to choose from, just to make sure my role goes through.

Also my roleblocked comment was assumeing that there is a mafia roleblocker, which is not completely out of the question for a game this large.

Brian, you're right. I should not be acting stupid just because Dranko does. I just didn't really have anything to say, but i didn't want to lurk. ohhh well.

Last Night I invited Shamrock and Vitamin#$%# to the bar because they seemed very non-threatening and I didn't think the scum would have seen any reason to kill them. Fortunately I was correct. And as soon as they show up they can confirm with the town that they were indeed there.

Also, now that they have been invited once, my role states that they can not be invited again.

you know, i'm not sure if this is supposed to be relevent to the game but the original designer of this game was Dranko20, and to me, it seems like the kinda thing he would do, putting just 1 townie in a game this big. If for no other reason than to mess with the town like this when the person claimed.
