I'm having trouble believing that a mafia would kill Konowa.
Konowa, when he/she signed up for this game, hadn't played a single game of mafia yet! He/she signed up for one, but never actually played one. Would a newbie's likeliness to be lynched make the mafia want to kill them?... Probably not.
Does this make MafiaMann innocent?... I have no idea.http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

A vig may have thought that mafia would take advantage of him for an easy lynch so might as well take them out now.
How does this relate to my innocence though?
2. Yeah, pretty much.
3. Er... Maybe because you suggested that it was another mafia faction?... I'm really not that sure.http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

Yes, but he's... Mastin... You never know whether he's telling the truth or not, if he's serious about the game, or what color his socks are...
I have no clue why I said that last part. Also, Mastin had a link to some of his town tell/scum tells, and one of them was something about gambling or something. I'm thinking about whether about you're town for sticking with your opposite faction thing.http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

I've managed to confuse myself with my last post. Allow me to rephrase the second half: "One of Mastin's town-tells was that someone sticks with what they were betting was true. You're pretty sure that it was an opposing faction. So does that make you more likely to be town?"http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

To me, saying "lol" in your first two sentences when there wasn't a joke in the previous is a slight scum-tell, since it sub-consciously lures the town into believing that you're like them or something like that...Kise post 49 wrote:Oh boy... I think I just gave Mastin more ammo for his next posts, lol. I bet it'll be a thick read.

WTF Kublai? I said specifically that I DOUBTED that a second mafia killed Konowa. You're obviously not paying attention. I can't really call this a strawman because you're not trying to make what I say weaker, you're trying to make it seem like I said the opposite of what I said!Kublai Khan wrote:
@ckool5000 (117): How do you know a mafioso did it? Are you lamenting the loss of Konowa? Why aren't you rejoicing that we have a lucky vig?
As for why specific people were killed, who knows? For all we know they could have just loaded the player list in the random.org list randomizer and went with the top pick. Speculating on Night 0 kill choices is nothing but a useless WIFOM venture. And MafiaMann & ckool5000 are both scummy for engaging in it.
And for Mod's sake, ckool5000, are you seriously following someone else's list of wiki scum & town tells while you're playing in a game with that same person? WTF?
And how is it WIFOM? The mafia would want to keep an easily lynchable person in the game. Case closed.
And lastly, I was justpointing outthat MafiaMann was sticking to what he said about a second mafia killing Konowa until I showed him otherwisecouldshow that he's a townie.
I guess I was right in post 128: The more I post, the more I look like an idiot . (If you don't believe me about that, ask Faraday about my first game...)http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

Yes, but for night 0, it's always a good idea for scum to keep a lynchalious (to quote a certain dgb) newbie alive... But of course, that leads to WIFOM, because the newbie could be the scum... Which they were in this case...ZazieR wrote:

However, I''m not a fan of looking into who killed who as each player think differently. I''ve learned this the hard way once >.<
I think MafiaMann gets my point, and that's all I wanted to do with the whole talking about night 0... So I won't talk about it anymore...http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

Yeah, I'm not the type of guy who posts huge content posts, and I'm not exactly very good at pointing out stuff... If you don't believe me (and I'm not saying you're not) then check out the last game I played in as town... and survived and won. I only post a lot when I don't have much to say, then think of something then post it... Then think of something else and post that, and etc.... I'm going to have to leave a mental note in my brain that if either ZazieR or Achilles is scum, then they're not scum buddies... Since, wouldn't Achilles remember that ZazieR is female if he was her scumbuddy? That doesn't mean that they're not both scum, nor does it mean that they're scum at all!... On the whole "piggy-backing my evidence" thing, I wasn't exactly trying to convince everyone that Kublai was scum, I was just saying "WTF?" to my computer repeatedly... Because Kublai had mixed up what I had said. If you find that and whatever else is in his post a scum-tell, then go right ahead and vote for him...

Oh, also, that first image that you posted ZazieR... It's going to give me nightmares... for real. Also, in a previous game, I had reffered to a male goon as a "she", and when he corrected it, everyone went into a big debate on whether or not I should know whether my scumbuddy's male or female... So that's why I brought it up.http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

Okay, so people wanted me to comment on these three things, so here I go:reveillark wrote:FoS: ckool5000
1.) "yay scum doctor is dead" post. I think Mastin went over this at one point. (granted i think at this point it would have been hard for mastin to NOT mention something)
2.) saying that "lol" is a scumtell. complete nonsense.
4.) Calling people lurkers in a game with 10+ pages that started less than 24 hours ago...people have lives/work/are slow readers.
1. Um.... What? Look, if someone says, "Oh, congrats doctor!", then that's a scumtell... But me saying that I'm glad that a scum powerrole is dead?... Well...... It's not a scumtell, because it's something we all know... Or something.... So... Yeah....
2. First of all, I do consider the 'lol' scumtell to be a real, if weak, scumtell. Also note that afterwards I noted that I've always wanted to point that out as a scumtell, and in the post that the 'lol' was in, it wasn't a 100% serious scumtell. The perfect case of a 'lol' scumtell would be:
"lol.
Yeah, I think that so-and-so is scum because they're using pictures. Vote: So-and-so."
That would be the perfect case of a 'lol' scumtell, because the 'lol' makes you relaxed when reading the rest of the post, so you won't care as much about the terrible vote and/or logic. Of course, the tell isn't that good, especially considering that a lot of people just use 'lol' a lot. Now that we've talked about 'lol' so much, there's another branch of this tell that I probably shouldn't tell you, because then the scum would avoid that tell too.... Wow, so much talk about a weak scumtell. It's one of the only scumtells I can recognize quickly, so that's why I keep it in my head.
4. Sheesh! Okay, I'm not used to games where 15 pages are made within three days, why does everyone keep rubbing it in? Also, all I wanted to do was get some more opinions in here. Also, I didn't want anyone to start lurking, nor did I say anyone was. I just said that they were on the edge of lurking. And look what happened next! The people on the list started posting!
Is this the longest post I've ever posted on this site?... Maybe... Maybe not....http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

2. Because, it just pychologically does so. Don't ask me how.fallen angel wrote: 2) Your "lol" scumtell situation looks like it would be more in the RVS, as most votes after have real reasons, like "He claimed serial killer" or something. It seems a null tell at best, and at worst an attempt to justify your actions. How would it make you less likely to care about a bad vote?
4) Meh. Not posting one day after the game starts isn't a scumtell/bad thing. It almost always takes me 1+ days to even notice my game has started. Again, null tell or justification.
4. Did I say it was a scumtell? No.http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

All that I saw in that post was you thinking that I was trying to defend myself where I wasn't, and that, in the end, you thought I was doing so many noobish things that I was playing the "I'm a noob" card. (For 494) I dunno... I guess I got tired of answering practically the same statements that different people say... or something... Plus, there wasn't any actual question towards me, and since I had already done plenty of responding to similar things... Well... You get the point.... Or maybe I just missed it... Who knows?...ZazieR wrote:Though ckool, what''s your reason for not responding to the other stuff that was brought up in post 489 (and 494 for that matter)?
(For 489) I was adressing the whole post during the second part of my response.http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

You know what amazes me? ZazieR has been posting a majority of the posts on the last few pages, and she hasn't gotten a single fos or anything... Of course, there's not much about her posts that could really seem suspicious... For a second, I thought I was on a roll with my thought process, but I'm not even really sure what I'm saying now...
I'm starting to think less and less that Kublai is town. I still have my vote on him, but there's something that bothers me about it: Wouldn't a scum, if they were faking a miller, say that, yes, they were a death miller, if somebody asks? Of course, that may seem scummy in some people's eyes, so that would make them not really want to do that, but wouldn't it be in their best interest? So that way, nobody could be 100% sure if they were town or scum? Now look at Kublai. He doesn't really know, but thinks it's an ordinary miller role....
I'm starting to confuse myself. The point is, I'm starting to suspect Kublai a little lesser, but I still have my vote on him.http://ckool5000.mybrute.com

Oh, I screwed up the first part. I meant less and less that Kublai isscum.
What I was saying was
1. I find it odd how nobody's thinking that any of your posts are scummy, even though you have so many in such a short timespan (because whenever I post a lot, I get foses at least).
2. I'm thinking that if Kublai is scum, he would've gone with death miller when someone asked... But I can't really be 100% sure of it, which is why my vote is still on him.http://ckool5000.mybrute.com
