I support Flay policy lynch.

Vote: Mr. Flay

Dude I should've joined with my alt instead of xyzzy just to confuse everyone.

No, my scumchat policy lynches consist of killing me as quickly as possible.

This consists of "I really don't want you alive because any crap logic you spew will be believed, and while I've only played one game with you, in which you were scum, I have a fairly good belief that this is a risk in this game."

Also, scumchat is a horrible meta for forum games.

Flay, I seriously doubt this wagon will result in a lynch (though obviously with only 96 hours we need to be careful...), I wholly support wagoning early day one as much as possible.

L? Lake? Lumber mill? Leuitenant's office? Louvre? Llama farm?

I think SpyreX probably just made a slip of the tongue.

I know its Nibbler - so, zyzzy is a Hyper-Intelligent Space Dog. :P
Bolded part: werewolves wouldn't be pretending to be humans. This slip I attribute to SpyreX being a human.
But normally werewolves aren't town - it was probably jsut a mistake. If a game were made where the mafia were the uninformed majority, would you believe people who attack others as being scum are the informed minority simply because the flavor demands it?

You're voting me for trying to start discussion with a bandwagon. Obviously my goal isn't to get a player I know nothing about so far lynched.

OhGodMyLife wrote:Tell me xyzzy, how does calling for a policy lynch start any kind of useful discussion aside from the fact that we're now discussing how scummy you look because of it.

The korts vote isn't helping your cause. I believe in the real world we call what korts based his vote on a misunderstanding, but you're trying to paint it as something more sinister.
Bandwagons produce information. A discussion of whether my actions were scummy, whether I'm scum or not, helps the town. If it results in my lynch, it's not helpful for me, but information-wise an informed lynch (even a wrong one) is a Good Thing.

...And in the real world, we don't lynch people we think might not be werewolves. Your point is?

Thats super scummy.

Poorly thought out defense of xyzzy noted.
You expect page one logic to be non-flawed? I was merely saying, "we haven't got much to start with - let's start here, at this random location."

Hey now, I thought this was still fun jokin phase.
Just because something is the random voting stage doesn't mean we don't hold it up to some standard.
You're right, the wagon on you is very informed, thank you for helping.

And my point is that your korts vote is not well founded, and therefore further evidence for your scumitude.
i'm voting for the person who overall has acted the scummiest. At this point in the game, not everyone has even posted, so that's not a very large pool of info to choose from.
xyzzy, by acting scummy, you attract both town and scum, and no information will be gained from your lynch--that is, if you're town. If you're scum, you'll just expose your buddies. I don't see how this wagon on you would be beneficial to you either way.
I didn't say wagons are the source of info - I said discussion is. Discussion leading to a wagon is good. Wagons leading to discussion are good.

And how's following a possible tell scummy? You dismiss my logic saying it's BS, but I think it was a valid question, and enough for a vote.
Given his response do you sill find it scummy? I think his answer was rather townish, actually.

Yes, I explained the logic of why I chose him as a vote <24 hours ago. And how does that=I explained why he should be policy lynched? Policy voted is a big difference from policy lynched, and that's what people are failing to grasp. I would never support basing a lynch on such shoddy evidence - I merely support pressuring people with votes, and proactively choosing someone to do that to is a good way to get discussion going.

Mr. Flay wrote:What the hell is a "policy vote", xyzzy? You'll vote someone but won't lynch them? That doesn't make any sense... ANY vote should be prepared to go all the way to completion, unless it's specifically disclaimered (which just makes it entirely useless, more often than not).

Seriously. I get that our previous game cheesed you off, but this is unhealthy. I'm no more or less a threat to you in this game based on being scum in Newbie Game 446 (for those who don't know what he's referring to), can you understand that? Try to disconnect your emotions.

FOS: Flameaxe
- you're either lying or an idiot. If you'd been a few hours earlier, you'd have put xyzzy at
four
votes w/o being aware of it (supposedly). Stop being unhelpful and read the damn thread!

Spryex (and anyone else this applies to) why don't you like me "trying to kill the jokevotes out of the box"?
Yes, I voted you on shoddy logic based on being annoyed at you in a previous game. And you're saying it's inconsistent to not be willing to lynch based on that? A vote doesn't need to lead to a lynch to be useful, and to produce discussion.

I'm nowhere near claiming point.

I've explained the logic behind my Flay vote repeatedly - whether you believe them, at this point, is your problem.

My Korts vote amounted to basically the same - I felt, at that point, that Korts was the only one who'd done anything even slightly scummy, and I wanted to see how he'd respond to a vote. Coincedentally, he's continued to act scummy.

It's a protown thing to do to unvote me, and perhaps vote Korts, who's being obvious scum! You should try it!
