Condensed Rules
1.)
Be civil.
2.)
No talking outside the game about this game, unless your role PM allows otherwise.
3.)
No editing or deleting your own posts or another's posts.
4.)
No mod-quoting. Only paraphrase in your own words. This does not apply to the sample role PM, which all townies have.
5.)
A lynch (or a No Lynch) takes a majority of votes. In the event of a deadline, a majority of a majority will do. (In other words, if 7 players are alive, it takes 4 votes to lynch normally, and 3 votes with a deadline). If there is a tie, first come, first served.
6.)
To vote, post a bolded
Vote: PJ
. To unvote, post a bolded
Unvote: PJ
. If you are switching votes, an unvote is not necessary, but appreciated.
7.)
If you have a request, please use a bolded
Mod: So-and-So
.
8.)
If you're dead, do not post.
9.)
If you notice there has been a lynch, stop posting.
10.)
I reserve the right to change or add to all game rules.
1.)
Deadline for Day One is three real-time weeks. Deadline for all other Days will be two real-time weeks. Night will last forty-eight hours, unless I receive a PM requesting that night be extended to seventy-two hours. The game will begin once all players have confirmed or forty eight hours have passed since roles were distributed, whichever happens latest.
2.)
Each role PM contains song lyrics. Contrary to
Rule 4
, you
may
quote your lyrics, since Beatles lyrics are generally accessible.
Sample Role #1 wrote:Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
It's wonderful to be here,
It's certainly a thrill,
You're such a lovely audience,
We'd like to take you home with us,
We'd love to take you home.
You are a
2-Shot Isolator
. Twice during the game, you can take somebody home with you to try to get them to enjoy your “show” - guaranteed to raise a smile. You cannot use both of these shots on the same night. If you are successful, that player will be unable to take any actions that night, and if that player is targeted for any night action (besides yours), those actions will also fail for that night.
You win when all threats to the town are dead and at least one townsperson is still alive.
Sample Role #2 wrote:I am the Walrus
Sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun.
If the sun don't come, you get a tan,
From standing in the English rain.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob, g'goo goo g'joob!
You are a
Townie
. Nope, not even a walrus-townie. Maybe if you got off your cornflake, you could do something besides vote. But you never do.
You win when all threats to the town are dead and at least one townsperson is still alive.
