Like this posts emotions seem genuine, but I can see scum feeling that way just as easily as town.

I found all of that pretty scummy. It felt like a giant leap in a bad way. Something scum may have manufactured thought about. I really don't like this fire assassin wagon.

I think scum trying to blend in as town need to do things that on one level appear to be against their wincon because at a deeper level its needed to not be the obvious scum. In this instance I just think it was done poorly in a way that I can see myself having done when new. Thats very different from allowing incompetence in all possible ways.

Taking a step back and evaluating how you or your slot played and then interpreting how the slot is interacted with based on your expectations doesn't seem that strange. Other people did ultimately call my slot out for those posts, they were pretty bad. I just hadn't gotten that far when I said it. Though I was right in that the traction didn't exist.

That doesn't actually answer my question. The scum still aren't going to want to lynch themselves? If you think maru is town leaving him on the table as looking like a mislynch can only be good because you can jump on people that actually take the bait. I don't think this is actually alignment indicative but I do think it was a really empty statement.

Following up on this post answer, titus's comment felt quite reactionary. They were the first person I stated a suspicion of, they were listed in my top 3, and there is a building wagon on them where as my preferred vote is sitting idle, I think it's completely natural that I'd move my vote to them when I did. I was wondering if she was seriously considering me as a scum partner to fire for it.

If you would have voted first, you would have taken a stance rather than seeing if it was acceptable to take or not. There wouldn't have been the doubtcasting. It still would have a chainsawy feel to it but not as bad.
