Sorry, guys. I missed the game start because I didn't remember which game Who said he signed up for and I didn't log into the hydra to check. And also shadow didn't send a PM to my main, which is cool and fine but I kind of expected it to come when the game started.

Sorry, shadow! I'll get right on reading up and murdering townies/stabbing werewolves with a noose, whichever one I'm meant to do, after work tonight.

If someone could go ahead and tell me who is scum, who is town, and who is lynchbait I should be voting that'd be great. If not, I hate you all and you're meanyfaces.

Also of note: Is this a closed/open/semiopen setup?

But, I want to start with what gave me pause.

The bolded part of your quote above seems to indicate that you had not yet looked at your role PM before posting. Nor had you looked at your PT with the mod before posting.
If none of that occurred, how were you able to come to the awareness that the game had started and you were part of a hydra in it?

Strong tendency to read as scum every game. Usually wrong, as the odds have it, but that doesn't make me not do it.
Somewhat gut, not feeling ABR scum. When we day1 lynched him in the Magic mafia, I was feeling he was town by day's end, but it took a while to get there. Would like to see more of play like that, but like I said so far, gut read for now.
Pine was an early scumread. Dumb claim lessened it, because easier for scum to NOT do stuff like that.

Just finished a game with both of you. Similar to Farside/Konowa below, you were both town, and so when I had to dodge you in Zodiac, I was keenly aware of your play as town.
Would like to feel some of that now.

Just finished a mini with these two (Konowa) in which I was scum and had to dodge both of them. Since their townlook was glaring to me that game, I was hoping to see the same here. Farside, while having less posts than before, is staying the course in terms of logic and sumhunting criteria.
Konowa (who I had to hard-push for crap reasons last game) I was really expecting more from. That more did not appear. But, Titus is here now, and so we'll see where she takes us.

The line that you focused on from PV is not something I had noticed, but you noticed it, so there might have been a reason for that. Your information here that it's a read you like could also explain you having noticed it. My thinking was that you might have been worried that someone would notice your scumfriend's error and tried to link it to another player (i.e., hence the oddly specific decision -- explained by you above as me being the only one around around -- to ask me about it and the decision to reveal that it was PereV indirectly).

I saw it as baiting you, asking about the behavior prior to pointing out the behavior. You seemed to say "It's not alignment indicative of Pine" x2, but Andrius points out that it's my post, not Pine's.

I think this means you are not scum together, since it would have just been a lead-in for you both to pile votes on me. But, it looks like Andrius wasn't using it as a reason to call me scum, more as way to test you. Which leads me to lean town on him.

Your reaction (of not being easily led) would make me think town for you, but after your 316 and 318, a reversal on your position would have painted you as scum, so your reaction overall leaves me at the null-spot I was at before.

I feel like your 316 and 318 basically said that it was OK not to have any reads at this point. But, in both of those posts I felt like you thought Pine was being referred to. Had you said "Yes, no reads is scummy" upon finding out it was me, that would have been obviously scummy. And I think you are a better player than that.

Why can't we force him to wagon our lynch wagon that isn't him? If he's full of shit, he still has to confirm said players alignment. If he's telling the truth, we get more information. So what's the harm if we dictate the second use?

Did you see Iec say that Pine was fake claiming? If so, what's the point of 534?

I was interested in the short burst of posts containing Pine's claim and the reactions to it. Would like your thoughts on that.

Would like thoughts on Andrius questioning of Iec about a player with few to no reads this late in the game. Thoughts on that.

Peregrine, what is your motive for asking me the questions that you did? I'm quite curious.

Those are the major sources of my reads on those slots, such as they are.

I also didn't pick up your responses to those situations, so you pointing them out is what I needed. I can't see town ignoring them.

That was a lazy claim. Lazy for scum, if they wanted to use that to avoid the lynch or drive the mislynch.

It makes no sense for town, since Pine is not currently suspect.

Based on this, you'll have to elaborate on motivations for the claim and the manner in which it was made.

If you want to talk SouthGothic day1 play, that's a different story.

Saved me from having to dig through your posts and figure out if you were scum.

Also a culmination of four straight games where I'm scum where we're all bad scum players, are easily caught through POE, role mechanics, etc., and I have really not any reason to repeat the same experience - extremely fed up. RNG is against me for a longer stretch than usual, okay, forfeit and hit the restart button and try again.

Having had a string of scum games before, it gets kind of demoralizing. Even when you are doing well as scum in one game, chances are you are or will not in another game. And, it tends to affect your town games as well. One of the overall reasons I cut down on my number of active games, less chance of getting a slew of scum roles.
