We should start the day by saying who we nominated. That's the best way for us to track scum without any other info.

I nominated Cheesefan and Jack.

You're going to have to help me on this one... I see a number of ways in which this could help the town and no ways in which it could hurt us.

I don't like how RR is responding to this.

Well of course revealing the nominations on future days would be a mistake, but on the first day, I think that the results might be useful.

Holy crap man, did I never get replaced from this game?

I can stay now, I'm just really baffled that I wasn't at the time. I sent a PM requesting to be more than a week ago.

I'm going to find it difficult to catch up with all of this game, with schoolwork and a 50-page game I just replaced into, so forgive me if I'm just a little slow on the uptake and don't remember everything that has transpired today.

That being said, I have looked over the posts of all four nominees in isolation, which has caused me to
unvote, vote: Cheesefan
. All of the other nominees seem to be genuinely trying to catch scum and have made, IMO, more contributions to the town than a scum would have. From most scummiest to least scummiest, the nominees are:

Cheesefan: I haven't seen any real contribution from him... his posts are a lot of fluff, really, and few if any are actively trying to catch scum.
JDodge: pretty short and pointless posts, but I glean from his post that he's actually trying to sniff out scum, which I don't always see in him.
Raging Rabbit+Skruffs: have participated a lot today and have actively gone in search of mafia. I think it's quite possible that either
could
be mafia trying to direct a lynch, but from what I have read, they both appear convincingly pro-town.

So even if Cheesefan isn't mafia, which I think he might be, he's the best lynch candidate for me today.

If you actually took the time to read the last page, you would know why I haven't been posting. I thought I had been replaced out of the game, when in fact I had not.

My vote on Cheesefan stands. If you have any direct questions for me now, I will answer them. Trying to throw in my two cents to a discussion that happened pages ago would just be distracting.

Sorry that this happens when I just got back to the game, but I'm on vacation for the next eight days.

I would like to
proxy my vote to Maz Medias
if that's ok with the mod.

I will pm the mod with my nominations should the day end.

Good luck and see you all in a week.

I'm with Maz and JDodge on the nomination thing.

unvote, vote:Skruffs
... he's done nothing in the last few pages that tells me he's worth keeping alive, imo.

Having second thoughts about this.

When I get home I'll reread and post analysis.

Skruffs wrote:So while we wait for the last vote... it looks like there's been sufficient fraying of focus to make sure that five or six people will get a divvying of votes between them.

Maz.. Mas I think is scum. ;)
I
would go for a maz and cheesefan nomination, personally
. If maz is scum, might be worth re looking at Dodge, and if cheese is scum, might be worth looking into Jack. That's just what I would suggest, though - things are going to change in the morning. For all the townies out there, nominating those two will at least help make sure that you yourselves do not get nominated, and that should be as good a reason as any.

It's easy to FOS active players though because they give you something to FOS about, whereas other players don't. It would be easy to FOS RR for stirring things up so hard in the beginning and then hiding at the middle end of hte day when the deadline appeared, but he's appeared twice and said that it is based on real life - best to just take his word on it. The other two idlers aren't really saying much of anything.

Personally
I don't think JDodge is scum
, or I would have changed my vote to him. I do think he was manipulated by Maz, though. JDodge kept at the bickering with me long after the rest of the town said to stop, though, long after a reasonable scum
would
have stopped - I don't honestly think he was trying to misdirect the town. Even if I was calling him scum, I don't think he was. If I really thought he was, I would have changed my vote.

There was more, but, it'll have to wait, and I doubt I'll get antoher chance to post before the last vote. ;)
You know how I like it, then.

I think it's worth it to see your alignment... HAMMAH time.

Simply put, I think that the idea that we work together to nominate is flawed. If enough of you disagree with me on this point, nominate me and lynch me.

Why would it?
Well, considering Skruffs's last post was "Dean is town," I surmise there is a REASON he would put that there. Unless he was just fucking with me.

Wish I could say I had this one figured out like usual, but I was stumped. GG mafia, for what it's worth.
