Funnily enough, I think it has been proven random voting as "optimal" play, but that trivializes play, so we'll leave that at that.

I think more important at the moment is for the mod and all the players to give some word of their return.

Aaaah! Sorry, finishing up classes right before break, so there has been much studying going on for me.

i lol'd irl @ the thought of me flying under the radar. I find it best to be straightforward on Day 1 with little besides voting - I will note that while I don't like the "power roles" claiming always before reaching the final two, I'm not going to say this is condemning, just bad thoughts on play... and I have always said that bad play does not equal scumminess. Scummy play equals scumminess. Seeing as the content I am voting for has yet to satisfy me, my vote remains.

Also, I'm looking forward to the Pick 3. <3

OK, so I'm back in KY - that's why I wasn't on over the weekend - and have noticed something funny. Zodiac is now slowly slipping out of the picture, and not because people are saying stuff about him, but because the attention is being forced upon us to look at Mariyta/klebian. I'm not sure I like that. Actually, I'm positive I don't like that.

I'm voting Mariyta because she seems to be pretty confrontational when it comes to the chances that she might be scum. My next most likely suspects are also on Klebs wagon, and if they want him gone, Im leaning more towards keeping him.

That sounds like a bad idea to me. We don't lose anything from at least hearing a claim, and rushing the day only hurts the town.

If he claims a power role then hes lying because he should have claimed before he was stuck into the final 2. i see this as an open and shut case.

So, by your own logic, Zodiac and Mariyta should have also claimed. Why are you protecting one/both of these two?

There is a solid scumclaim between CTD and klebian, because I don't believe that there are two warthogs in this game - no role related information or anything, I just don't think it's the case in this game. You guys have basically talked through why scum would claim in either position. I have another little thing to think on as to why CTD may have claimed as scum - to try and take off all focus of Mariyta. Am I saying that Mariyta is scum? No, just that it'd be something to think about as scum to counterclaim against the person sitting on the block beside your own partner.

Bah, that didn't really help me in deciding who to lynch. I'm feeling that lynching klebian will give us more information, but I hate to waste a valuable Town role just like that on Day 1.

This requires more thought on my part.

OK, I have a proposal: everyone must have a vote on at all times, making a small exception for when your vote gets removed if that person becomes lynch-immune. This way, we won't have anybody just slipping by us.

It's nice in theory, but how can we control who gets immunity? All scum have to do is remove the vote from their buddy and vote someone else to make them immune. If you can find a way to make it work well, let me know

Well, don't you see how this could be useful, then, once we catch a scum? Although, milkman's suggestion is probably the most practical.

My position toward Sherlock is not changing at the moment. My thoughts on the raj quotes is that he has a tendency to use similar vocabulary that might wind up confusing you if you're not putting yourself behind raj's monitor. (As in, in his head.)
