"Safari in the Serengeti Mafia”
Welcome to the Serengeti. It now varies from open grass plains in the south, savannah with scattered acacia trees in the centre, hilly, wooded grassland in the north, to extensive woodland and black clay plains to the west. Small rivers, lakes and swamps are scattered throughout. In the south-east rise the great volcanic massifs and craters of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Each area has its own particular atmosphere and wildlife.
Trouble has been brewing recently were for centuries relative peace reigned. The circle of life was obeyed and animals only hunted for what they needed to support their familys, however recently this has changed. Animals have been found ripped to shreds and left on the plains for the scavengers to feast upon for no good reason.
The Serengeti's climate is usually warm and dry, but the rainy season is here. This is a bad time for the animals who are being picked of one by one by these unknown creatures, belived to be the infamous black-maned lions of Seronera. In addition it is the rutting season and several males try to establish a stamping ground causing more tension between the different factions. Together the animals are surivivors, but they have been decimated by poachers, and the hunting dogs. For the Serengeti to stay alive and well the animals need to free themselves of these vicious unknown predators. Twelve animals gather around the watering hole and look at each other. Herbivores, Carnivores, Insectivores and Omnivores all together unite and know something must be done. This unique area is in danger and together the animals pledge, the

This game will feature a slightly different change on the voting system. The changes to normal mafia will be in Bold.
* Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. Votes for yourself will also not be counted.
* Please be attentive and unvote, if necessary, before casting a new vote. This is not required, but I’d appreciate it.
* The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
* Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing.
* Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts
* Don’t quote any PMs from me.
* If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me, tough! No choice will be made.
* If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
*When the Day starts the animals will gather together. After 48 hours whoever has the least votes will not be able to be considered for the days lynch. If some people are tied then someone will be randomly determined. This will continue every 48 hours until only two animals are left in contention. At this point all votes will be scrapped and everyone will be required to vote until one animal achieves a majority. No lynch can be acheived until this point.
*In the case of an overwhelming town vote (I.E Guilty cop result) then if 75% of the town vote for a eligable candidate then that animal will be lynched.
