Hey, sorry I didn't post earlier. I haven't slept in, like, 36 hours now, so I still need to fully get my thoughts organised, but may as well tell you whereish I stand.

SJ strikes me as the kind of dumb town player who has decided he wants to cultitivate a unique playstyle and is now trying to lend legitimacy to his beliefs by getting lynched because of it, regarding this as some kind of 'walking through the fire' exercise. He's shooting his mouth off and acting like a more respected player and then begins to falter when he gets bandwagonned for being a 'chamber'. He's also martyring himself, encouraging his own lynch, and whilst I understand Wifom arguments, I simply don't think it's that common for scum to do this, as in, I've never seen it happen outside bizarre circumstances.

That said though, once a townie starts encouraging their own lynch, they are done for and of absolutely no more use to the town as a scumhunter.

Bluesin to be here now. That vote for putting the 5th vote on when he put the 4th was pretty damn hypocritical to me, and I think that if Bluesin comes back it should be answered, though it now seems likely he'll have to be replaced.

I think it would be a good idea for the other mason to claim, by the way. That way, we clear a townie, who the Mafia will have to kill at some time.

Naw. If the mason gets wagonned they're gonna claim anyway. We shouldn't force them to claim early. Besides, this way there's a chance they'll survive until tomorrow, and they're much more useful then.

That was the last votecount before the site went down. Brizzyboi hopped over to provide the hammah vote, and I think neongrey was number 6, though my memory may be flawed.

The things I think most suspicious regarding the happenings of yesterday are Nightfall's pushing the wagon without being on it, and Brizzyboi's last minute lynch jump, which I remember as being without reason, and when I challenged him on, he stated something along the lines of "we'll see tomorrow". Lurking throughout the day only to provide a reasonless hammer post is not behaviour that makes me feel pleased with him. I'll wait for his thoughts on what happened yesterday before I make a real move aginst him though.

My vote's fairly firmly there. If we get nightfall to kill a dude and lynch the other, we're one scum kill up, and assuming all are innocent and 3-man mafia, that's game.

Actually, Disregard this. I was thinking that the mafia 'power' might have something a little more telling than just the random numbers that have been assigned to the vanilla town and mafioso.

I think you kind of missed what I was getting at there.

I am the cultist. I claimed my original role, not the one given to me I figured that if you did have any information about which numbers are scum, I should probly use my town role. You can lynch me if you want, but then you lose all chance of me possibly counterclaiming a scum. I not denying that lynching me today is probably the correct play, but what

the correct play is killing me right away, throwing away the information I have. We have a joint enemy here, and we may as well try and out the scum today.

Look at it this way, if you lynch me, we'll have to deal with the exact same problem tomorrow, but we'll have 2 less people to deal with it. 1 of those will be a pro-town. Consider this a similar situation to having four people alive in an endgame situation, one of which is a confirmed innocent. No-lynching there gains nothing except giving greater scope for rash decisions and speedlynching fuckups.

I can honestly say I have no idea what this means or what possible conclusions we can get from it. whoo.

FWIW, I think the optimal play atm is for you to lynch Brizzi and vig neon, seeing how it's practically gauranteed that one of the two is scum, and assuming Brizzi is telling the truth (obviously, yay if he isn't), that should give us a an endgame with me and two of Nightfall/Maz/Confirmed Brizzi, with a dead scum.

That said, I'm not exactly gunning for the town. I kind of hoped that finding the scum in this would be fun, letting me get a last bit of enjoyment out of this, but turns out its just a simple 'confirm everyone and kill the rest'.

Asking the mod for details about dead roles is really, really stupid. It's like asking the sanity of a dead cop. I don't see how you could even remotely expect him to answer. I actually sent him a PM earlier when he revealed my win condition, saying how pissed off I was that he had screwed me by revealing one of the last little bits of info I had that the town didn't. I would have been very angry if he'd revealed this question. Not cause it'd screw me, more out of he principle of mods revealing info to towns that the towns have no right to have.

And you can disbelive me if you want, more fool you. I'm not mafia, and it's in my interests to try and live as long as possible and hope that something goes wrong. The easiest way for me to live as long as possible is to help you find the scum, considering that's the person you actually want to lynch.

I very much doubt 3 mafia. We have 2 mafia and a cult that stays alive after the death of the leader. If zindy had made anoher night, it would have been very hard to root us out, moreso than you think, and if we'd converted the vig, you'd be royally fucked.

I also think Neon is the scum, but that's neither here nor there, considering the way to play this is to lynch Brizzi to test him, regardless.

That's my point. The vig would have lost his abilty, and you'd be forced to lynch away what was effectively a mafia group that recruited instead of kills. I don't think you could have pulled that off on lynches alone.
