Why? Random votes do not run contrary to the spirit?

Raj, what exactly is the difference between a random vote and a self-vote in terms of productivity? That it is only funny once? Why does that matter?

Raj, self-votes provoke reactions. Random votes don't. Players who start Day 1 with a purely random vote escape suspicion. The discussion is started by deviations from the random voting. The deviations betray the characteristics of the individual. I'd rather have some self-vote because it is unorthodox than everyone random vote, hoping discussion will somehow pop up.

Don't follow his justification of that Yosarian2 vote at all.

ryanjunk wrote:I don't think I was that scummy. And I know I'm pro-town, so I looked at people who started jumping on my bandwagon. I voted Yosarian because he jumped on second; I think this is kind of the "pole position" for scum. Not starting the bandwagon against a townie, but gleefully jumping on.

To reiterate: I'm not trying to walk on eggshells. I just hadn't seen anyone who looked definitively scummy, and I figure it's too late in the day to start throwing in random votes, so I didn't vote for anybody.

Some people took that opportunity to call me scum; I consider this a very convenient opportunity for scum to lynch a townie. Hence my vote. At the very least, it'll get everyone to look at the people running this wagon.

FoS: VitaminR
Are we supposed to glean all this from:
ryanjunk wrote:Eh. I didn't vote for cropcircles, or bold a real FoS onto him because, I don't think he's scummy. But hey, all my dithering caught someone!
Vote: Yosarian2
?

Your exaggerated response to a two-vote bandwagon is what made me vote you. You defended yourself by adding a comment that was not evident from your earlier post and basically OMGUS-voted saying you'd "caught someone."

I don't see how second place on a wagon means Yos is necessarily scum. Also, why not just say you don't find cropcircles scummy? The wishy-washy nature of your post is what made people vote you, not the fact that you don't find him scummy.

Furthermore, why was this a very convenient opportunity for scum?
Also, your reiteration does not match your comment before that at all.

Just one more point. Knowledge of your own innocence:
1) not a relevant point
2) does not necessarily mean people who vote you are scummy

Vote stands.

Not sure what to think of ryanjunk's claim, nor Emp's response. There's something very strange there. The only information ryan gave was power and role name. I am not sure about the info Emp may have on that.

I think so too and that means ryan's claim should be taken as a vanilla townie claim. Not enough to persuade me to change my vote.

With the amount of people called Taco Liberty Bell I don't think that's an option. It is my name as well which means, going on the hints, something like half the town, at least, has that name.

I really want to play in a When Bob Ross Attacks Mafia now.

I'm also TLB, as mentioned. And I'd like verification from inHim whether or not that vote count is correct.

. Replacing my pre-TLB-hullabaloo vote on you. And furthermore, ryan is absolutely the wrong lynch, because he *cannot* be mafia- there’s no way that he’d claim LTB with his comafia *also* TLB. The instant one of them died, ryan would be exposed; from his point of view, he had no way of knowing that protowns would also be TLB. And anyway, I personally don’t care for lynching vanillas D1 for the sake of being vanilla.
It is possible the mafia was told that everyone was going to be named TLB as sort of a safe claim (it would stink to claim one thing and only later find out everyone else was named TLB) but Ryan's claim dosn't quite feel like "Oh, don't lynch me, I've got a safe claim!" kind of claim. I don't think ryan is at all cleared, but I'm willing to wait on that until we get a little more information, like what the mafia's rolenames are and such.
Although I'd like to pursue ryanjunk (especially with his recent 180 on how likely town-TLB/scum non-TLB is), I do agree with this.

I think that in a game where you give the majority of players the same role name, the mod would tend to make sure nothing can be gleaned from it by the town.

I don't think more speculation in that area will reveal pertinent information.

After re-reading the thread, this seems like the thing to do:
Vote: rajrhcpfreak

Seems to be stuck on his initial votes which weren't based on much. Has not commented on the TLB-thing at all. He basically voted Tamuz for disagreeing with him and is sticking to it when there is a lot more substantial stuff to comment on in the meantime.

I am not sure I see the reason behind the ryan vs. Drummer thing. A lot of discussion based solely on the interpretation of one post.

Heh. Okay...
I suppose an explanation will follow? Because I am thoroughly confused.

Raj, I'm voting you haven't really contributed while you have indicated that you are satisfied with your vote.

This was the kind of thing I was looking for, but I still don't understand why you are satisfied with your Tamuz vote earlier, over the other people in the "axis of evil"-group.

*scratches head*

Okay. Great. I don't blame you guys for wanting to lynch me, but it's going to be disappointing.

Honestly, this is the third consecutive mini (except for a regular in which I got NKed Night 1) I'm going to be lynched in for something I can't control (Scenes, Webcomic, this).

It's starting to become a bit hard not to let bitterness creep into my posts. I am really starting to wonder why I started to play this game.

I am not scum, people. Sorry, raj.

Do you guys want a claim? It's probably not going to help, but I suppose it might.

Right, not a lot of feedback on whether or not I should claim, but I suppose the situation is clear enough.

I am Taco Liberty Bell, de-cultifier.

Could be a red herring, I don't know.

So incredibly scummy...

I'm honestly starting to wonder if I'm scum without knowing it.

Well... I suppose lynching me makes sense. I don't think Adele is lying.

No, I understand. I really can't fault you guys. It is just getting me down.

But well, emotive comments should not sway anyone. I can tell you it's sincere as I would not have made them if I were really scum, but lynching me is the logical course of action.

His claim speaks for him, but his behaviour has been incredibly scummy. Also look at cropcircles' replacement. He barely contributed, made joke votes and never provided support for his real vote when questioned on it.

I'd look at elvis and Jecht as well, but that is mostly gut feeling.
