With Snap's revelation, I will leave my vote where it is also. If I try to imiiagine who among Peanuts characters has the potential for evil, Lucy tops every list. While Linus wouldn't seem likely, the whole Van Pelt family, including Rerun, might be scum.

I agree. Just because a cop gets two guilty results the first two nights doesn't mean he's insane or paranoid. He could very well be lucky, and the best way to test that is to lynch one of his targets. That is, of course, so long as you don't have anything better to go on, and we don't.

Any time I've heard of someone wanting to try that (It came up in an all-cop game), the mod said of course you'd get innocent.

Right now we've got a cop with two scum results. There is always the concern that he's paranoid, but I'd guess the chances are better that he's sane. That leaves us with the best option IMO of lynching on of the targets today. If the cop wants to verify his sanity, and he suspects Sotty of being scum also, then Sotty shouldn't be the test of his sanity. OTOH, if we lynch one of his targets and find scum, then the chances improve that he's sane and we can trust his results.

If we don't lynch DP or Quidgyboo, then Sotty, who was blocked, would make an excellent choice.

Well, the way I see it, there are two choices. Iammars and Mr. Stoofer. I don't know if I believe Red Baron as a one-shot vig, but I'd rather see how Mr. Stoofer looks on the end of a rope.

But why wouldn't you cast your votes on Stoofer? I'd like to see him swing first because of his attitude, but if you would rather vote for him, why aren't you?

I believe it's because he didn't unvote me. Is it five to lynch? If that's the case then mlaker needs to unvote me and revote and we would have ourselves a lynch.

mlaker is also one of the 4 counted as voting for Iammars -- so we need one of Quidgyboo, Quailman, Pickle, or elvis_knits to vote for Iammars for a lynch. Then we can get this game going.

Pickle, Quailman, I'll do you a deal: I promise I'll claim tomorrow. And since no-one else wants me to claim, that's a pretty good deal.

I'd still prefer to vote for someone who returned a guilty result for a cop who brought us one scum already. The fact that Sally was scum, though her character in the strip is not scummy, tells me that we can't go by role name alone, and in fact they may be misleading. I'm also leaning toward a possible gambit by DP & Quidgyboo to clear Quidgy based on DP's duplicate claim.
