This is sarcastic for thoseof you reading along at home. Every single person in the game had him pegged as scum. We almost let him go on the "too scummy to be scum" fallacy, too. I don't think anyone ever supplied a case on him then either.andrew94 wrote:mr gandalf is pissed at me cos i pwned him in hobbits doctor mafia = =-

Oh, I'm not going to lie, that's exactly why I play the way I play. At least I actually find scum, unlikeKatsuki wrote:
This is pretty much the same problem with YOU, gandalf, in that, you guys generally say and do such ridiculous things that, when you do it as scum, it STILL looks normal.gandalf5166 wrote:Chess is making me raise my eyebrow........... But I've played with him before, and this is all pretty normal stuff, so until he does something really drastic, my vote stays where it is.
In essence, what I am saying is, saying that "extraordinary" stuff is "pretty normal stuff" is kind of like throwing a smokescreen on your play.some people.
All this "opportunistic vote" talk has made me change my mind about chess. That's a scum tactic to ward off votes. Seen it done before, and it's being done now.

Yes, but you shouldn't state your townreads until something like that happens. Otherwise, you're just telling scum who to kill.andrew94 wrote:
imagine if you had all but 3/4 town reads- that would be useful, will it not?gandalf5166 wrote:I never said townreads were useless. I said stating them in thread without any scumreads to go along with is scummy. And yes I know that ADB did the same thing, but I find chess scummier, so he can wait until tomorrow.
adumbrodeus wheres the question for gandalf? i cant see it
This has been a standing question since the second post I made on this thread and he has yet to answer it.AdumbroDeus wrote: Question, why?
Also, I'm not quite sure what you mean, but your post was an illustration since it obviously wasn't just chesskid who thought it was still RVS.[/quote]
What do you mean why?-

Please..... stop the claimage.
And that doesn't confirm you, vezo. While it's UNLIKELY that scum would have a governor in a mini, it's not impossible.
As for experience with vezo, here you go:
Game where he's scum:
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... =3&t=14592
Game where he's town:
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... =3&t=15096
They're both really long games, but you can look at his ISO.
Just look at those, and the difference between them. I can never quite explain the difference, but it's relatively easy to see.-

Lol this argument again? Long days are anti-town. Players start to drag, and they out-think themselves. At the end of a long game day, townies are in their most moldable status. It's a fact. You can look at any game, and see that it's true.
Also, governor shots can be possessed by scum. Don't forget that.-

And that fits flavor-wise, so I'll assume you actually have that ability for now. Especially since no-lynch shot is kind of bizarre to make up.
Vezok, what is your spell name? And for chrissake, make sure you say it right so I don't accidentally dayvig you.
And no, I'm never going to tell you guys whether I ACTUALLY have a day-vig shot or not.-

Nope.chesskid3 wrote:I stand corrected I'm also cool with you vigging Narsis.
With a claimed dayvig shot, are you worried about being nightkilled?
Because they're both scum, and he was defending him. I'm assuming they're scum. I suppose one of them could be an SK. Also, I've found that making absolute statements like that garners reactions that can be useful.AdumbroDeus wrote:

None of your business. Also, don't forget that I may or may not actually have it. I'm not telling you. I'm going to dangle it over all your heads.Dark Horse wrote:

Gandalf, can you tell me as to what flavor this game is based on? I thought it was just a snowbunny creation.

IM NOT GOING TO USE MY DAYVIG TODAY, IN THE CASE THAT IT ACTUALLY EXISTS.chesskid3 wrote:Gandalf your dayvig will make this a lot easier. Shoot any of RBT,Narsis,Dark Horse,Malthusis, then we'll lynch another from there, maybe vig another one at night, and then get the last one tomorrow?
PEDIT: Don't softclaim, please?
And I will survive the night, don't worry. The earliest I would even CONSIDER using it is tomorrow.-

I'm not sure whether I've said this already, but: CK is no longer one of my major suspects. Not just because of the claim. In fact, the claim proves nothing to me, because he has the perfect excuse to never actually prove it. He just isn't playing scummily anymore.
Andy and RBT are most likely to be scum at this point, with Doombunny and Adumbro each possibly taking up the last spot(if there is a third spot, which in a game like this, with this much town power, there probably is).-

I don't think anybody's a VT in this game. That would just kind of suck >.>
Also, I'm assuming that there's a lot of town power since we're kind of all JOATs >.>
If you became confirmed, I would certainly give some thought to your input, yes. As for power of absolute veto, maybe not.
The problem is that using your ability would serve no purpose other than to prove that you're town. Although using it in MyLo might be acceptable, even though I really wanted to use my dayvig in mylo. I guess that another night for PRs minus scum-controlled kill>town-controlled kill. I'll just save my dayvig for if I'm stuck in LyLo and nobody is listening to me >.>-

Why do you think he's a godfather? I mean, he could have that same kind of function, where he could keep PRs at bay, but godfather isn't the word I'd use. He's more like a cross between a roleblocker and a GF. BTW, I think his vig shot is bullshit.vezokpiraka wrote:WAAAAAAIIIIT.
Anyone see what I am seeing in the claim of RBT. I think he is a godfather.
He should be the lynch for today.-

He unvoted to ward off a quickhammer. That said, I am comfortable going one to one with RBT. If he flips town, you can lynch me tomorrow. Because him being town and me being town, with those abilities, just doesn't fit.vezokpiraka wrote:mod: Where is chesskid's vote? I think he voted RBT and if so then RBT is lynched.-

I'm not actually a lyncher. I was just reaction fishing. I do it a lot. Once, I did it, and I got lynched, despite the fact that I had "claimed" I had already won. They were convinced I had made some mistake. The funny part was that I announced that I had won on PAGE THREE of the game, when absolutely NOTHING could have possibly happened that would have caused me to win.
Based on reactions to my claim:
Doom and chess are town
ThAdmiral's reaction is null leaning town
vezok is stupid
DH and andy are scum.-
