I'm not nameclaiming. I don't think it's a good idea, and last time there was a massclaim of any kind, name or role, in a game I was in, it ended up being what caused suspicion on me, which was a big contribution to scum winning, imo. Not gonna say my role name.

It's already been said that, due to flavor, and the fact that many roles may be strongly connected to flavor, nameclaiming gives scum a very good idea about who to kill. Also, in a game where flavor plays even a small part, scum are bound to either have fakeclaims or be people normally considered as "good guys." With those two ideas in mind, I have yet to read a convincing argument for nameclaiming, and I'm certainly not gonna do it just to get Parama to stop his anti-town self-imposed post restriction.

Are you sure? To me, the flavor is unclear as to who exactly could be mafia. What about Envy? Could there be Wallace/Other Scott as Indie Lovers? I think the flavor is too wide open to assume that the mafia is made up solely of evil exes, and that this comment implies knowledge of the setup.

Between TL, UT, and Parama, there is at least one scum.

My role PM includes flavor that says that there are members of Sex Bob-Omb in the game, but it doesn't say how many. So we are to treat jmj, Nic, and UT as clear, since I don't think any Sex Bob-Omb members would be scum. If it comes down to it, we can lynch one of them, but I don't think it will come to that point. Like I said, I don't think any Bob-Ombs would be scum, and I kinda doubt they would be fakeclaims either. So I'm treating them as clear. Especially Nic.

No. I think this has already been explained. There's nothing wrong with being against nameclaims, but still working with what was out there.

Did you simply not read the rest of my post? Or are you that dumb/scum? I justified myself by saying I don't think Sex Bob-Ombs would be scum or fakeclaims. The flavor does say that we are to stop the ones who are trying to hurt Scott. I don't think it has to be as simple as "all scum are Evil Exes lol," but it wouldn't be Kim or Steven Stills. And they're too major of characters to be fakeclaims imo. If they are scummy enough, we can lynch them, of course, but they're at the bottom of my list right now.
