Not a playerlist I often play with, but hi everyone ^-^. Hopefully this'll be fun, considering I've not had the most of that in a few recent games. I'll catch up now (half the reason I picked this game was because of the light reading load)
If anyone wants to offer me a breakdown of the game, I'd appreciate it, since it'll give me a good starting point for knowing where you're coming from."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

@UA: Meh, first thing is MBF's rolefishing done with scum intent? How does it benefit scum, and how does it hurt town? (honest questions, I like thought processes)
Secondly what makes Flava Flave's inconsistencies scummy? Are not scum more likely to be consistent because they are paying more attention to having a cohesive story rather than just giving raw town opinions?
@Shanba: Why would it not be real, Shanba?
@Flava Flave/Oman: Hypocrisy moment given prior performances. Is it really needful to antagonize each other?
@MBF: The joke is wearing thin at this point ^-^.
@Kittytank: So you believe MBF is being serious at this point?
JDodge's sentiment is a good one at this point, though I probably wouldn't so boldly proclaim it at this point since I don't have a full cage yet.
@JDodge: Why the 180 without a post from kittytank inbetween?
So, yeah, sorry to be all serious when the entire game has been RVS so far. I would like you all to humor me even if you think my questions are pointless, since it'll help me establish reads. If it makes you feel any better,Vote Flameaxe. He knows who the scum are and won't tell JDodge. Clearly he's in cahoots with the scum.

Too serious too early is a null tell because it is hypothetically in the town's interest to provoke people and spur discussion out of RVS. However, it can easily be misapplied in ways that assist the scum more. So null.
I guess the next question is why is kittytank too serious, rather than the right amount of seriousness? Since that's what point one predicates on.
Can you elaborate point two?"Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

I play mafia by looking for scum intent. I ask a lot of questions D1, rarely commit to anything until around page 15, where hopefully someone has manifested some obvious scum intent. The more talking the better, as I get where people are coming from. I use the word null tell, but I actively avoid trying to use "town tells" or "scum tells". Scumminess isn't a quantity, it's a quality."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

@JDodge: I'd love to. People need to give me material to work with. Considering I read just about 4 pages of chaff, I'd like to kinda get things started.
The page 15 comment was tongue in cheek, if you couldn't tell ^-^."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

@JDodge: The only word I have that you are pro town is yours, which is garbage.
@UA: That's nice. However, there ARE three things town should do to fulfill their wincon
1. Appear town. I don't mean fake it, I mean appear town because you are town. Part of that, as you might have guessed, is by being transparent in your reads. But you know what? I would have accepted a specific non answer to my question. A simple "The answer to that would not help the town", or something similar would have sufficed. JDodge did not even bother with that. I have no reason to believe he is town right now.
Now, to steal his words, I reserve the right to 180 on that at any time ^-^.
2. Catch scum: Haven't seen JDodge doing a whole lot of that either, but it's still early in the game. I don't have any strong scum reads either.
3. Persuade the town that the scum you've caught are scum: JDodge can skip this today since he's the king, though a bad choice would reflect badly on him without good explanation.
Finally, you should elaborate how I've been at all anti down, dearest UA.
Anyway, do you think you're scaring me, JDodge? Do you think I care if you execute me because I ~*~dared~*~ question your pro townness? Because I don't. In fact, I'm confident if you did something so utterly stupid, you'd be lynched for it."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Honestly JDodge's list sucks and I'd be very surprised if there were even one scum in it. But hey, if I have to choose from those for, UA seems the best choice."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

@SL: You clearly haven't been reading my posts. I'm voting who I think is scummy outside the list right now.
JDodge and MBF.

So then, why does this makemescummy? You've told me why I shouldn't find JDodge at fault (I disagree), but you haven't explained why that looks bad on me.
@JDodge: Actually, it's you who's being "completely useless to the town", because you seem to think that MBF isn't scum. So, nice try, but:

Yeesh. UK, you're just wrong.
JD, I don't get the backing off on panzer - but I guess I'll have to press that tomorrow. However, I want to know why, now.
D...is...isn't this just asking the same exact thing I did while maintaining I was wrong? Do...how does this make sense? Please, start making sense, Shanba.
...however, I will admit the mechanics that caused JDodge to be king would significantly alter my read depending on what they are. I do NOT want to know them at this time, though."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Out of the remaining on the list,Vote GhostWriter
I remember him less than I remember Oman. I can support my decision more solidly with an ISO in a few minutes."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Oh. Ghostwriter is a pile of IIoA. That explains why I don't remember him.
Anticipating Oman's next post, but he reads more like he's trying to give opinions than GW does."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

I'm well aware proven role does not equal proven alignment. But I'm speaking with my mod instincts. I don't like it.
Feel free to execute me if GW flips scum. Well, or lynch me. Whatever happens."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

EBWOP: I'm not just saying that for "I know you are but what am I", to be clear. You're playstyle is about the stupidest town can engage in. I know. I've done it. I slip into it from time to time. Being an asshole doesn't catch scum. I'm sure you'll say it does, or else you wouldn't do it. I suggest that this game will be a fair proof depending on it's result.
@JDodge cut: That's nice. I really don't care. That game isn't really helpful anyway since I'm pretty sure I replaced out early due to being too busy to keep up. Cause you know what? I've caught scum several times on D1 too, without being a bitch."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Well, my definition of useless is that your list contains of people not likely to be scum and your list of not executes contains at least one person with a higher chance of being scum than anyone on your will execute list.
Admittedly, I've also been forced into early reads and don't feel particularly strongly about any one person as scum at this point. But, I do agree providing early stances is a good thing, depending on how you present them, so I don't begrudge it.
@GW: Mostly right, though there's little advantage to JDodge withholding the information. Well, rather, withholding it as scum. Withholding it as town also makes a little sense in that it keeps information from the scum, which is generally good. I pressed your claim because I wanted more balance information, but I'm going to have to accept it was a slightly scummy action.
The rest of it is mostly right. JDodge should be constantly analyzing and questioning his reads, and using the new opinions to reestablish said reads. Since he has shown some flexibility, I'm inclined to think that he is possibly doing this is a very brusque manner. I can't be certain of that given his attitude, though.
Cut by JDodge: Or that. Admittedly, there could be a question of whether there is a king every day, not specifically JDodge. Which still applies to my good info to withhold thing.
As for us needing to "bow down to you", I don't think one should blind themselves to those you won't execute, and providing those opinions in thread is good. Of course, there also has to be *some* concession to your rulership. I was trying to with GW but then he claimed. Pretty sure he'll flip town, but hey, you could be right. I should probably look at the 4 you have in the middle, at this point.
@Shanba: Actually, I was planning to persuade the town to lynch him assuming I could find what I need if he were scum, or I'd drop it if I couldn't find anything, because he'd probably be town. I can generally swing a lynch to someone if I have to, but admittedly I'm unfamiliar with this playerlist, so it might not work.
Course, now that you know that I'd try to do that, the resistance to anyone I want lynched will increase.
Regardless, I'm less feeling JDodge and believe I was strongly influenced by his attitude. I'm now being more...aware that I can ignore half of JDodge's words and still get the point, since half of them are unnecessary antagonistic bullshit. And once I do that I can reason more logically ^-^.
@JDodge: Well, that's anti climatic."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

So, yay, N1 NK I guess. Totally had no idea who the scum were so you probably should have killed JDodge. Interesting game...I guess. I kinda stopped watching after D2."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."
