Hmmm. After looking through the rules we have some pretty short days. I say we get some conversation starting. We can semi skip the RVS when day actually starts that way and save time.

Hmmm. Let me look up an old game of mine where we started the game without any content and a series of questions, thus it wouldn't be an issue to do it before the game has started.

Lie Detecter is obviously a mechanic of the game. From my role I think I can assume that everyone who has a role in the lightman group will have this mechanic tied to their role in some way or another.

Tasky really does love being town. I have another post where he is quite set in his "favorite role is townie". So that isn't a legitimate case for a wagon. (Nat that you need one it this stage but still.)

Lie detector isn't the role. It is a flavour restriction on my role which I am assuming will run for all lightman group power roles. Thus meaning that CMAR is confirmed lightman group.

Publically. Scum may flail. Town can get some info across before hitting the floor.

Depends when in the game. Early I wouldn't call it out unless I knew there was a doc and no RB. I would call it out late because it would be important to get some confirms. By not calling it out then there is a chance scum missed thus not alerting them would be good. Not really many unless they also breadcrumbed a scum result.

@ Tasky. That just means you aren't one of the 4 people who are the Lightman group. See this is why people need to know the theme. The Lightman group is the group of people who are the deception experts. If you are one of those roles then you should have a lie detection condition on your role.

Antihero, jimfinn has alot of VI meta floating around. Ok not VI meta but if he has lots of little scumtells they shouldn't be counted as particularly substantial. I do see why you see him as scummy though and my vote would be there if I didn't have experience with him before.

From early day one Tasky's responses to me indicate that he is either a VT or a Scum. Safe lynch for later if we can't make our minds up. I am going to have to do a reread otherwise everything I comment on is liable for me to have taken out of context.

I actually missed my train this morning because of those posts. I really should have thought more there of course ZeroFang and Nacho are right.

I protected zerofang. So that means that either zerofang is town and got targetted or scum didn't kill anyone in case I confirmed one of them as town from the no kill. Sooooooo. We hve gotten nowhere because scum can now play with my results. At least either I am great at choosing my targets or scum are scared of me confirming townies so much they aren't killing which is a good thing for us.

My role only works if the person I protect is telling the truth in a post I quote to the mod when I send in my action. I was told this was because I am a lie detector on the show. I then assumed that all the other members of the lightman group would also have this condition.
