I want to see how you react to this. You've done something that raises a red flag to me (I'm not revealing what it is - because it is a tell that I think is more accurate than a lot of other tells, and by revealing it - it prevents mafia from doing that tell in the future).
:?
SC - I would like you to elaborate on your vote for mallow.
me too.
I disagree with Jack. I don't think SC would bandwagon so quickly if SC was scum. But that's just my opinion.
Why don't you think he would? When scum see a VI on the road to being strung up they often like to be on early. Or he could have been scum uncomfortable with his vote and looking to switch.

Because scum wouldn't want to be that obvious. I don't think. I agree that what SC did looked like obvious bandwagoning or what you explained. But I think it was too obvious and scum would be smarter than that.
Scum wouldn't want to be seem scummy? I agree. But if we assume that that their wants are completely reflected in their behavior, then we may as well random vote.

I'm trying to pinpoint what's with this. It's not a tell either way—in fact, it makes statistical sense—but the wording doesn't seem right. Would I care about misreads as scum?
1/3 of what I originally found scummy about your vote post was the "this is an outright lie" part. It isn't (mallow just meant that you brought the question of whether it was a tell into the argument). But that doesn't really seem like an intentional misread.

No I agree completely, you are misreading him I think. His english isn't that good.

I found mallows play scummy, but have concerns about him being a VI. Coug I'm not sure is scummy, we'll see.[/spoiler]

explanation = mallow is new and vi'ish.

I read it as "I never said it was a tell (or said anything about tell's at all). You just did (say something about tells). I'm not sure mallow knows what "tell" means, it's not quite mafia specific but it's not a common word either.

Not getting vi reads often depends on who you play with.

I can't see a townie finding mallow scummy for "misrepresenting" you or for the setup speculation...I don't see a townie having a top three list of "mallow, jack, llama". No way no how.

What do you think of coug blackberry?

:? meant I thought the statement was weird. Probably because of the warning that you wanted to see his reaction and the long drawn out parentheses bit which seemed like overexplaining.

btw I've done the same "draw scum at start of game", some scum bite hard others call you town and say it was obvious what you were doing and that it was very pro-town. Depends on the scum

I totally can't see any meaning of this sequence that explains this last post from mallow, as town or scum.

There's something else I think is relevant in relation to mallow, but it depends rather on the answer to that so I might wait to bring it up.

I don't have much of a read of mallow, and I'm not going to vote for him unless something changes. I think the sequence:
mallow: something.
someone else: you're lying. Liars are scum.
mallow: liars aren't always scum.
is rather scummy.

Fishy-scum could match up well with mallow-scum. Fishy sets himself up to join the mallow wagon early when mallow is first drawing suspicion and acting wacky. Then tries to drop him completely later when he's not a main suspect. What do you think of that theory mallow?
