vote: DTMaster. His post is trying altogether to hard to look like a normal jokey part of the RVS. Particularly the last paragraph. He's trying to make us think he's one of us. Also, no one votes me and gets away with it.

Is your 'experimental' scum tell about [insert ongoing game here]? If so, that's blegh. I'm intending to vote the mafia group in every game like this regardless of alignment. Plus, that's only one game.UncertainKitten wrote:

Eh, cool beans, then.UncertainKitten wrote: I can't get into it for the time being. As I said, just play normally. If you are town, there's nothing to worry about.
Though it's slightly annoying that you are using an unknown scumtell that you haven't tested yet ^.^
Anyway, unvote, vote: danakillsufor being the first person (alphabetically) to not post since game start.

There WAS no real 'sign up' for that game.
It was filled due to pre/ins!
Which makes it a lot harder to sign up for.
I SHOULD KNOW. >;O

Ok, what the craperdoodle just happened to this game? Aren't we supposed to be playing here? (bonus points to Kitty for wanting to hyd- for actually trying to find scum)
As I should've been the one to vote all along:

I realize you're cute and all, but not actually doing anything about the game other than joking and sucking up is a huge turn-off. Besides, I'm not gay.
As an aside, my beard is totally hot; no Amish female can resist my.... pitchfork either.RAWR-

I'm the one making jokes, not Amished.
Geez.
Anyway, miles' posting is about as useful to the town as a dead gopher is useful to a man about to die because a 50 ton weight is about to fall on him, so far, imo. If I had to choose, it'd be scum, but he's not solid as a read, personally.
I'm finding UK / SP being all mysterious to be annoying at minimum.
The fact that this contrasts with my experience with UK-town in the past bugs me, but I'm actively breaking my own meta as well, so that's null for me. UK-scum is something I have no experience with. Can anybody tell me if this is different from UK's scum game? So far, I've got the same read on her as I do of SP (I added this bit after cuz I realized I didn't add a read here).
SP is playing differently from my SP-scum and SP-town experience, so I don't really know what to think of him based off of meta, though I'd go with town if I had to choose, though he's really more neutralish leaning town than solid town atm.
Absolutely no reads on virtually any of the other players, prob due to lack of, y'know, POSTING.

@Zazie: It annoyed me, but I could see that the whole tone of the game was like that. I wanted to get us moving in a productive direction so I decided to come out and be the bad guy all harsh and stuff so at least some reactions would catalyze the game into non-bullshit.
@Disco: I actually can't imagine what your defense is (I was born without an imagination or a sense of humor. We Amish don't have that technology yet), so humor us.RAWR-

The following player needs to post content (or anything really):
seven (seven goes into all other positions, but that's obv isn't it?)
The following players need to explain t heir lack of votes in general:
miles
The following need to state who they think is scum (and why they aren't voting said individual):
smashbro
disco
nikanor
dana
-------------------
Also, I'm not just a fluff poster, dammit. I've just been relaxed this game. So everybody chill the fuck out.

@Disco: Zaz already explained why she was voting for the mod. If you want to ask her again, be my guest.
Obviously people know something about the mods of this game. With two (and tentatively a third) basically saying that they know something about the mod-players; and since this is "inspired by Tar" it's worth looking at. Why are/were you so against even questioning something that can help us figure out the setup and possibly determine the best course of action is later on?
@Miles/Zazie: Do you know anything about the alignment of the mods, any benefits/punishments for lynching them? What can you paraphrase about them?
@Seven: The mod knows the setup; and just going on pure motivational basis, they want their game to be fun to watch/play (if they're players). Leading the the town to victory would be a bland way to waste the 3+ months that they've been waiting in the Queue. They have no reason to play nice with us, and if they're actually players it eliminates a third party *that we aren't risking a mislynch on*.
Also, using a one-sided meta is bad. What if dana's scum meta is to be scummy as well? Then her actions would be null and you actually have to look at motivations.
I don't see her motivation for putting a weak town read out there, I don't see a motivation for her attacking Miles, I don't really see much town motivation at all.RAWR-

... You're .. Magnus?
I can dig up the games if necessary (I hadn't before) but in the queue for signing up for mini normals like .. must've been 4-5 months ago I suppose he had a terrible run of being scum like every game. He got into mine and was glad as hell he was vanilla townie.
With the length of the queue and preplanning, the idea probably came before the game and was getting set up and reviewed during that period (going from solely my (single) experience as a mod). If the mods are in the game...
I wonder if a vote for magnus would count towards Dana's vote count (this can now be tested with Nikanor's vote. It's at 5 now, if I unvote and vote for magnus, I would think it's the same person and wouldn't move Nik's vote)

Well, that was a highly informative second post. Criticizing his predecessor, directing a PR (away from other players in the game; when it's pretty obvious that the "mods are players in this game" comes from the mod's are roles in this game), and then makes some vague accusation about timing/type of claim.
Why is the timing and type of claim too convenient? We have a m_o player, why couldn't we have a Kairyuu player? It seems to line up with Mile's pm info (modSSS are playerSSS in this game)

*sigh* I hate replying to long posts.
Two things that I think you're missing out on, socio:
1) Context
2) Hydra
{Sucking up to UK} I didn't congratulate Kitteh for scumhunting, I'm trying to provide an example of actually progressing the game. Nobody (including "me") was doing so at the time so I brought to light what more people should strive towards. I wasn't aiming for brownie points with UK either (which is what's implied by sucking up) .
{Voting} This is our second game as a hydra. Last game here I (Amish) did all the voting too. It's easier so we're not fighting each other and confusing everybody else. Progressing the game then having a line of a joke is fine, cause THE GAME IS STILL MOVING FORWARD.
{Joking} Roughly 95% of the jokes came from Ray. Him not talking about 1 line in a serious post makes us scum?
{Miles} He was the prime (and most recent) candidate of fluff posting. If I could've voted for everyone, I would've. As such, I picked a figurehead to see how he would react, make the game move forward as people will realize that pure joking isn't tolerated. Dual purpose votes, ftw.
{Annoying} People voting without saying reasons doesn't irk you? That's the reason for the annoyance. After playing with countless lurkers and brash posters; your playstyle is far from extreme or annoying.
If this is your case against me/us; you have a lot to learn.RAWR-

Socio, will you get off our nuts? We're a hydra, we need to try to compromise on each of our thoughts if we're going to post so we don't post as often as either one of us would solo.
You've seen me in the Merkabah hydra, there are times when we're active (and that's always one poster just going after we have a quick talk about what the other is comfortable with) and when we're not we're talking behind the scenes trying to figure the game out.
At this point, it's basically the end of the day; seven will probably be replaced (with the flaker evidence) which eliminates possible catching on inconsistent thoughts as a replacement will likely have different thoughts anyways.
Now we're just waiting for the hammer, if there's something that you specifically want our opinion of, point it out. As such, we have somebody that's not pro-town that's being lynched and that's fine with us.RAWR-
