I apologize for not posting much. I replaced into a game 50 pages in and have caught up on it now finally and have had some school work to attend to the past two days as well. For now...forgiven but not forgotten, I will

I applaud Haylen on following his gut on Day 1. I also have a "gut" read on someone and that is Budja. I am having some of the same feelings I was having about him the last time we played and he was scum and I was town. Don't ask me to pinpoint it, this is just a feeling at this point.

Other than that the wagon on Tjoe was fine. It was about pressure. What concerns me is that it is still 4 strong. lewarcher, J-Fox, Haylen, Vaya...are you still convinced he was not being sarcastic and think he is scum? why or why not.

I don't like how Maemuki followed me onto the Snow White vote. It was such a production. I would have respected it more if it had been: I agree with Juls followed by a vote. Is it scummy yet? I don't know. I just didn't like it.

Hmmm...I really don't have a lot to go on at this point so I am going to go with my gut read.

Also: sarcasm, according to wikipedia is "a form of humor that uses sharp, cutting remarks or language intended to mock, wound, or subject to contempt or ridicule, generally saying the opposite of what the statement really is." I don't see anything witty in your question to the duck, I only see rolefishing.

This post was made when Tjoe had the same number of votes as when you unvoted. Don't accuse people of not being able to read when you have contradicting thoughts when the situation hasn't changed save the fact that I brought attention to the wagon as being a bad idea.

My suggestion is that we lynch one of the "not willing to sacrifice" because my guess is that scum would be more likely to answer no to this question. The fact of the matter is that statistically a town's person is killed on day one anyway so if we miss we are not in any worse shape than any other game we have ever played. However, by doing this, at least we put a little control back in our hands.

To me, the most scummy of the four would be lewarcher or Haylen. Both avoided the question on their first post after it was asked. Scum would probably want to hear what others (maybe other buddies) were saying first before responding.

My bet is on lewarcher though....

Saying no to the question as scum is a dangerous gambit. I am sure that at least one of them said no but I would be willing to bet 1 or more scum are in those four: lewarcher, Haylen, Budja, and to a lesser extent J-Fox.

That's just the thing. I don't necessarily see it as a sacrifice. I used the question to scumhunt. It was never about sacrificing.

Let me be clear...I don't believe everyone who answered no is scum. I do feel that one or more scum WOULD answer no to that question. And by seeing all the no's, we now have a small subset to look at. Specifically, I think that you and/or Haylen may be scum. J-Fox, I have no idea because he is nonexistent in this game and needs to be replaced.

I am not fishing, I have not asked a single person their role...Truth be told, I don't think there are any power roles in the game at this point and even if there are, we will catch up if we lose them. The mod states in the queue:

In Utopia mafia, the game may start out with not a lot of power either side, but as one side starts to lose members and become closer to defeat, they become more and more powerful. Would you knowingly lynch a team-mate to increase powerroles for the rest of your team?

@Tjoe: I would be willing to lynch either lewarcher or Haylen. Neither have done anything in the way of scumhunting. Budja on the other hand has. Why I chose lewarcher over Haylen? There is no real reason other than Budja and J-Fox are eliminated from contention for me sense Budja is scumhunting and J-Fox is non existent. And the aforementioned lack of scumhunting make both front runners for me.

Which leads me to Budja's question. I put J-Fox with the no's for the sake of moving on and not waiting for a replacement sense the mod is away. I didn't think it was necessary to stall the game. But I can't justify lynching a guy because he may have quit the site until I see a replacement.


TL;DR: I will vote Lewarcher or Haylen.

The case of how he is behaving after the fact? I buy it. I think it's a legitimate case. It probably gives him the edge over Haylen for scum.

The question was a last ditch effort to get some convesation going on in this game. A game, tbh, I am not enjoying playing due to all the lurking/nonparticipation. It needed to be shook up and I knew the question may be preceived as scummy. Which was fine with me because if I DO get lynched because of it, then it is fine in my eyes because, as I said, town will gain an early advantage. But I will say this. If you are going to lynch me because my question was scummy, you need to do it today and not wait until late in the game. If you wait until late in the game town will lose.

Budja, I don't know what you mean by "transparent town" but I don't see where Haylen is town in anyway except anti-town.

Not a big fan of rehashing things that have already been said. I voted him...he came back about thinking it was a scummy question, you covered the reasons why his reaction was scummy...I agreed with you. Where do I have an inconsistency? The reason Haylen looks worse is that he is piggybacking Lewarcher's argument now. Pretty sad to piggyback a bad one.

Was right about at least one scum saying no...problem is I had the wrong one. :p I did realize that it MIGHT out power roles but I had a feeling we were all vanilla. Wrong on that too I guess. But this game was going no where and I didn't really care if I got lynched for asking a scummy question because town would benefit. And I had "gut" on Budja but felt guilty because I am constantly targetting him...oh well.
