First thought based on what we've seen so far. Iammars posted after EMP said that mafia couldn't go all in, then Iammars said his role PM contained All-In rules. Possible scum move, not sure, just trying to go on what's up so far.

More people need to post.

Yeah, i'm not throwing any real suspicions, just trying to throw things out for day one, since day one is the slowest and any ideas are usually worthwhile. We need at least a few townies that can keep chip count up incase we need to all-in mafia, but it does seem logical that most scum will try to avoid the all in that way. Just don't be too hasty to lynch based on post count. For example, I do better the more I talk about things so I post more than other people. But don't go thinking that's a mafia defense because it's a crappy one =P.

I'd like to ask Iammars to hold his other three posts till later, when he can say more in each one, now that he's explained himself. To further that, I'll

Thok: They ARE mechanics of hold'em, but then what do you think big blind and dealer represent? I can't really discern anything.

A thought occurred to me. As SOON as someone is nearing folding due to votes, PLEASE give them a chance to go all in with reasonable time frame. Scum won't do it at all.

Also, this is kinda an asthetic thing, but doesn't this make it seem like the mafia is the worst hands in poker? I mean, We've already seen a K/J go down, and if someone went all in against 2/7 offsuit, then they'd probably win, right?

And 2/7 offsuit is pretty evil in my book. Mabye we need to look for whichever hand Phil Hellmuth was playing because that's a pretty scummy hand too. So far the best I can come up with is Iammars mentioning all in in his role PM though that could easily make him a vig within the game mechanic.

Finally, a plea. I am still winning in the vote count (If you can call that winning) And I've tried to explain myself so are there any serious accusations against me?

Here's the deal. I'm not scum. I will prove that by going all in in a second if that's the town's wish. I'm just trying to stay on top of the chip count to keep the scum from getting out of that range. As of right now the scummiest people I can come up with are dranko and iammars and neither for good reasons.

I'd like to point out that apparently LmL is the dealer, which means the SB/BB/Dealer theory might be defunct, though i'm not sure. I think if there was going to be some kind of "fold" by now then it'd have happened, so I don't think we should expect any events.

Okay, all good points. I kinda got signals crossed between this and Old West where i'm currently being ridden, but the general consensus of the group seems to, up to this point, imply that only scum would do such a thing. I'm doing this in order to freeze scum out. Folding I was referring to as the "event" that the big blind would cause, but yes, semantics is bad because I didn't mean death. As for reasons, Dranko for posting to get his chip count up and Iammars for having mentioned the "all in" in his role right after the other person said only town would do it.

I've actually seen it, for the most part, as daytime vigilante. It's not so much as not needing to have it but keeping scum from freezing the town out from having that ability if needed. There could also be another cop, keep that in mind, and in later days I'll go by cop's investigation.

I have the following things to say.

When I first started in this thread I didn't know what was going to happen, and suddenly I was at the top of the chip count. I really don't have a good out here, as this was something that immediately put me on the defensive, which served to further pump up my points.

I honestly saw me having the most chips as a way to keep the scum from freezing an all in from happening. Yes, this means that I control the table and it means that if I was mafia I could sacrifice my buddy, but for reasons I don't want to give the mafia (but will if pressured) I don't think that's a good idea.

I am protown. Mabye you guys all disagree with what i'm doing, and that's staying on top of the chip count, but I think SOMEONE has to be up here to keep scum from freezing us out. If I have to go all in to prove it I will, but I'd rather not. As it stands now, I'm probably a prime mafia target so they can try to get my chips out of the pot tomorrow, so if you don't see me tomorrow don't be surprised.

Right now our best options are me and a lurker vote and if you want to vote me simply because I believe this is a good idea, fine, but don't lynch me before I get a chance to go all in. And if you guys DO lynch me before I get the chance to go all in, MAJOR FOS on the lynching vote, because they get all my chips.

And since this drink thing has piqued my interest..

LmL, do they serve bamboo margaritas here?

I'm just going to put this out there too. I've been suspicious of Iammars since his first post when he said that he had the all in mechanic. He's been claiming with little more than a FoS on him, seems like he hopes that we'll go "oh, he has a good town ability."

I wanna see what everyone else thinks, but I am glad to see i'm not the only person who finds this behavior suspect.

So far, most of the "playable" hands that I've seen (Myself and KJ) are town, so I think the mafia is crappy hands and that's why they lose against an all in player. That's just my guess.

I don't think we should have someone do it TO Iammars. Scum will be all but happy to vig their own to "prove" their innocence. Also, I looked back over mod's posts and there's no indication that the day continues after a successful vig, so I don't know what to think about that. We NEED prods on Iammars to make his last post and go ALL IN against whoever he wants and we need a prod on Maximus to actually DO something.

The honest truth is that We might waste a townie with a good role killing Iammars, who is not using his last post to reveal his role and whether it will be useful or not. I know that I personally wouldn't go all in on this, and you can read that however you want to, but I doubt there are many people that will volunteer to throw themselves in front of Iammars. I'm only giving him one more day to post because this waiting is ridiculous.

I have what is, in this game, a very powerful role. I wasn't trying to ++ or whatever, and I'm sorry I didn't go back through and look but the flat out truth is that i've been the most vocal during this game and that scares everyone because it gives me the chip lead.

What I want to say is that I probably won't live through the night. If I die, my chips go into the pot. If that is the case, I urge the town to be VERY suspicious of whoever casts the lynching vote on me as they will get all the chips.

I am NOT willing to go all in vs Iammars because I am not 100% sure he is scum.

I apologize for asking for a vote count, but if we could get a LITTLE mod interaction in this game I'd be a lot happier. Vote counts aren't usually something we should have to ask for.

Yes, I was the first to say that Iammars might be scum, and actually, I was sure I was already voting him. I would vote now, but that would put him one from lynch and we've determined that I need to be chewed out before that happens.
