Here's the story of a girl,
who was brutally murdered
Okay, enough singing for now.

Not sure why everyone ignored this, but in the one Smalltown game I've played in, we all claimed night choices after each night. I think it's worth discussing. I prefer the popcorn method of claiming night choices.Plum wrote: On another note, what degree of results/target claiming about the night is usually called for in a Smalltown game? I've never been in one before and wonder what might be considered baseline optimal-strategy protocol.
I do find it interesting that, in a game where the random phase is completely unnecessary, people choose to do it anyway.Taking a break from MS. Please send e-mail if you want to get in touch with me.-

I protected Danchaofan last night, actually. I felt the Jailkeeper was a fairly powerful role to keep around. As Gorrad pointed out, this clears Danchaofan, unless there's something in the setup that I'm not considering.Danchaofan wrote:okay I jailkeeped tony montana. Rishi can go next.
I'm really debating how to use my ability in the future. If we lynch a non-scum today, I will have 9 possible targets - with three scum in the mix. So I usually think cop (or psuedo-cop in my case) is a pretty good trade for a scum. If I advertise who I'm going to protect, then you'll know if that person is scum if I'm dead but it's easier for the scum to find a workaround.
<shrug> We're nowhere near the end of the day. I guess this can come up later.
Hey, H-cow, why don't you go next?Taking a break from MS. Please send e-mail if you want to get in touch with me.-

Okay. But why Megatheory? I know you said your vote wasn't random and you gave a reason when you first voted (which, to be honest, sounded like a joke), but what has Megatheory done since then to get your attention?hasdgfas wrote:
I was voting Danchofran because I wanted to hear more about the completely idiotic statement that he made saying he might have lied about his night action target, now I'm going back to my first vote.Rishi wrote:
What exactly are you trying to accomplish with the vote-hopping?hasdgfas wrote:unvote, vote megatheoryTaking a break from MS. Please send e-mail if you want to get in touch with me.-

I don't think that not submitting a kill N0 is a scumtell, but if Megatheory was on the scum team, he's a very likely person to not submit a choice (since the person who kills doesn't get their normal choice).
I would say that Megatheory is extremely unlikely to be the SK. What SK would pass up the opportunity to make two kills on N0?
I don't think we should direct vig kills either.Taking a break from MS. Please send e-mail if you want to get in touch with me.-

Or they could have targeted Danchaofan. He was also protected.Malyss wrote: It seems doubtful that the scum would have chosen not to make a nightkill, so either Tony was the one calling in the order and got roleblocked or the scum tried to target me (if the scum making the action was Megatheory), or Tony Montana was targeted while being jailkeeped (or is it jailkept?) by Danchaofan. If Hasdgfas did indeed bodyguard Porochaz, then either Porochaz wasn’t a target since Hasdgfas survived or Porochaz could possibly be scum.Taking a break from MS. We should probably lynch someone. Any suggestions?Plum wrote:
I agree with this. New discussion avenues - are there any?Danchaofan wrote:I think we get enough information from (possibly) 2 N1 kills that N2 onwards it's better to direct vig. Umm, just because Natirasha claimed that role on Page 1 doesn't mean it's true. Okay, we shouldn't pick on players who aren't here.hasdgfas wrote: Honestly, in a Smalltown, I don't care about their roles, especially night 0. I'm going to choose someone who I think will be targeted for death because they could be very helpful for the town, even more so than their night action.
If I had to choose between a vanilla-townie Glork and a kill-immune-vigilante-cop-doctor Natirasha, I'm going to choose to bodyguard Glork because he's far more useful, even without having a power role.
I'm just wondering, though, if that's the right thing to do. I think Smalltown games are won and lost as much in the night phase as in the day phase. It is also really difficult to scumhunt sometimes, because it's fairly easy for someone to look town when discussing theory.
Also, for those of you playing along at home, I'd like to point out that this was the first post by H-cow that was more than a couple sentences. Glad you're coming out of your shell.-

My point is that you're posting a lot but not saying much. It seems like you're being evasive, to some degree.hasdgfas wrote:
