Well, if you're town your job is to find scum. You indicate this with your vote. If you are voting yourself you are saying you think you are most likely to be scum/you have a better chance of being scum than other players. I know I am innocent this game, and I will not vote myself since my role tries to kill guilty people. By voting for yourself however, you either don't know your role or add nothing to the town (or even hamper them) by preventing discussion.vollkan wrote:I repeat my question:
Why is self-voting scummy?Surfs up dude.-

No wait, Polar Boy posted for 7 pages in Calvin and Hobbes before realizing he wasn't in it.Fritzler wrote:If I remember right Polar Boy did that for a long time one game, which got him the title "Posts Blindly."
Then, PeaceBringer posted in another game, and received the title of posts blindly, becasue people with the initials "PB" have this problem.Surfs up dude.-

For me personally a scumtell is different than someone acting scummy. I would never "forgive" a scumtell, but I would ignore some highly suspect behaviour (I spell it with a u because I want to be british) based on some reasoning/logic.Occam wrote:Are we going to forgive scumtells later in the game based on meta?Surfs up dude.-

No thx.Fritzler wrote:Guys we should lynch fast to make sure we don't have another worthless day like yesterday.
Worthless.
Is Fritz always this antitown?

I am honestly infuriated.Yosarian2 wrote:Meh...I would expect Fritzler to be especally frustrated at a day then ended without a lynch like that.
That's why it was bad speculation.Seol wrote:I'm missing something here, obviously. He self-destructed a little overoneday into Day 2, not 4 days, by my math. Where do you get 4 days from?
If it wasn't like that though, it would probably be good speculation.Surfs up dude.-

Do I even know you?The Fonz wrote:
Well, Fritz is known for being a guy who's into fast games. Always vigs N0, wants to lynch the first person he suspects, that kind of thing. Plus, inciting people to make cases and take positions quickly is not necessarily antitown. You can't 'quicklynch' without making a case. Who was it who had that quote about accusing people of quicklynching as being like accusing them of witchcraft?Minineko wrote:
@Fonz: Do you not agree that his post was incredibly antitown? I don't know the players here all that well.
Are you arguing that 100% of all quicklynches are antitown. I would love to get into that arguement.Minineko wrote:
I called Fritz' post antitown pages ago, and Fonz attacked me for it.vollkan wrote:Why are you seeking Fonz's endorsement of your opinion? If you think the post was anti-town, state so bluntly (rather than asking leading questions), and explain why you think that way.
Do you seriously want me to spell out to you why quicklynches are antitown? Come on....Surfs up dude.-

Happy where my vote is[/quote]You expect everyone that has been here for an extended period of time, to not be able to vote on hunches? Makes for boring game beginnings.UltimaAvalon wrote:
Aww c'mon, you've been here since 2004, that's newbspeak.Seol wrote: I don't have a case on Yos, just a gut feeling.

That would be an interesting move to claim to your scum buddies during the day that one of your scum buddies was cop.Yosarian2 wrote:forbiddanlight wrote:
I dislike how you are pushing what could be WIFOM as fact. We have no idea if UA is town or not. It's a lower order possibilitiy, but still entirely possible that Occam put out a scumbuddy's name as the "cop".Yosarian2 wrote:
Well, re-reading the day, it seems pretty clear that Occam did claim because he thought UA had investigated him.forbiddanlight wrote:
How do we know this?
UA is town.
I'm not going to discuss this any farther today, because we really don't want to be doing any kind of detailed discussion of Occam's cop speculations, for obvious reasons. Suffice to say that, cop or not, I'm pretty confident UA is town, and I'm going to leave it at that.
Also, you just rose a little on my scum-o-meter, since this is the already the second time you've brought the subject up today. Makes me wonder if perhaps you're trying to find out if your scum-buddy was right or not.
I don't know what I think of occam's meta to do that though.Surfs up dude.-

Don't forget you'd vote so you wouldn't get lynched at deadline.Minineko wrote:
Which I do not like. Why would you do that?forbiddanlight wrote:It was more just petty baiting.
Hii. Explain plz.UltimaAvalon wrote:Vote: Minineko
Why would I vote? I didn't want to lynch him for that, it just seemed fishy. At this point I am finding it much more likely that forbiddenlight is scum. The Fonz wrote:And Mini, why did you FoS Yos whilst not using your vote?
Accordingly,vote forbiddanlight

That's an important one.Surfs up dude.-

So you would put me in the scummiest third of the community right now? As in you believe me to be more likely scum than oh say Fonz or Raging Rabbit?Yosarian2 wrote:
Sure it is.Fritzler wrote:
exqueeze me, is this a serious post?Yosarian2 wrote:(shrug) I'd be fine with a Min, a Fritzler or to a lesser extent a FL lynch today.
On a side note, I don't think it's likely Fritzler and Min are scum together.
As I think I've made clear, the main prism I am looking at this game through is the one of the Occam bandwagon, since I think a sucessfull wagon on a scum gives more info then anything else that's happened so far this game, and deciding who comes out of that wagon looking pro-town and who dosn't. And you fall into the second catagory there, along with Min and FL.
That being said, I'd still rather lynch Min today, I think.
Just so we're clear here.Surfs up dude.-

Actually, forget Fritzler. I would instead prefer to hear from Raging Rabbit.Haschel Cedricson wrote:Okay, I read this thread a week ago, but I'll have to do a quick reread.
While I do that, I would like minineko and Fritzler to give me a quick summary of the game so far, preferably from memory.
